The Nola Truck

Man New Orleans seems like my second home in the South because over the last few years I have spend quite a bit of time there. After a heavy night of enjoying the spirits of New Orleans, I came across this unbelievable gourmet food truck. The Captain/​Chef of this operation is Nigel a real down to earth dude that has mastered the Cajun/​Creole Cuisine. I tried two different items on the menu. The Crawfish Grilled Cheese for my meal and the Bread Pudding Balls for the dessert finish. Man the whole experience was AMAZING. The Crawfish Grilled Cheese is one of a kind with the mixture of cheese, crawfish and spice and the Bread Pudding Balls just explodes with flavor. If you are in the New Orleans Area please make a beeline or put a locator on your phone for this spot. You will not be disappointed I swear.

Brilliantly executed Nola-​influenced specialties! In a town where gourmet food trucks are scarce, Chef Nigel’s creations make the trek to eat outdoors all the more worth it. The crawfish grilled cheese is my favorite (try adding extra candied bacon)! Definitely a must-​do when in town or simply looking for something fast, fresh and delicious.
