Beautiful location, almost no line, nice cashier, fantastic Smoked Butterscotch latte. What’s not to like? I think the new design aesthetic of Starbucks fits well in New Orleans — exposed brick and wood, clean lines, dark colors. And a good coffee!

Is it too much to ask that the cashier have some sort of personality and acknowledge the customer in front of her? No acknowledgement, no hello, no attempted add ons and no thank you! Everyone else working was very nice but first impression is everything and this one sucked.

I came with a work colleague just to take a walk for some fresh air really. I ended up getting a small Berry Hibiscus Refresher (low-​cal, no caffeine, minimal sugar), and I really enjoyed it. It was a good pick me up in the mid-​afternoon. And I didn’t think it was majorly expensive like many items they have. Baristas were friendly, and service was quick.

This Starbucks is gorgeous, the renovations in the building are fantastic. I am so happy it is opened as it is only a block from my office. Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks. The only thing special about this one is that it is a Starbucks reserve location and the sell the special reserve star blends. The pastry and dessert case is spectacular and the display of the food in there is quite pleasing to the eye, luckily Starbucks likes to post the calorie count on their baked goods which usually causes me to pass up those types of treats, especially when I know my delicious salted caramel mocha has about 500 calories in it. Whatevs! I need it sometimes, peppermint mocha! Where have you been all my life? Love the holidays at Starbucks!
