I forgot to pack a nice pair of heels for a nice dinner out, so I was thrilled to see a Nine West Outlet across the street from my hotel. I was all the more thrilled to see that they were having a BOGO50% off sale. I had plenty of room in my suitcase for shoes, so I set out for my shopping adventure. When I walked in, someone immediately greeted me. That was the only good thing I experienced here. I walked through the entire store and must have picked up a dozen shoes they had on display, turning them over for prices, then looking for available colors. There were a maximum of 3 additional customers at any given point during my visit. NOTONCE did any of the 3 available employees offer ANYASSISTANCEATALL. They did to everyone else, though! But not me. I was even jumping to reach my size above the displays. Whenever I looked around for someone to help, all the employees had their heads down. Was it because of how I was dressed? I was wearing shorts, a dressy tank top, and had my hair done, so it’s not like I looked like a window shopper. Am I too short to be seen over the shelves? NO, those shelves can’t be more than 4 feet high! Oh, I know. I wasn’t carrying my purse so it looked like I had no money. Guess what. My pockets always have money. I finally found a pair of shoes in my size that was within reach, and I really wanted to try on some other shoes, but I was so frustrated and gave up. I walked up to the cash wrap, briefly gazing at the handbags, and was disgusted when an employee walked right by me and didn’t say anything(«Another pair of shoes and one will be half off!», «What shoes did you pick up? We have a nice purse to go with that?, «AREYOUFINDINGEVERYTHINGOKAY?»). When the employee who rang me up(Patty??) asked if anyone was helping me, I said no, but I really wanted to scream. She didn’t apologize for the lack of help, and took the sale for herself. She also didn’t offer the BOGO sale. She could EASILY have added on something else to raise her Average Transaction Dollars, Units per Transaction, and overall sales. Want to know how I know about those KPIs? I am a retail manager, and I know customer service. This Nine West location does not.

I love a sale. That being said, I was in need of a new workday/workweek purse.(RIP my old Dolce & Gabbana)…I walked on over to the Nine West Outlet on Canal Street. Yes, I had to browse the shoes first(there is a BOGO50% off sale)…then made my way to the purses. Of course there’s a sale there too…30% off. I looked over the selection, picked up the one that caught my eye… not too big, not too small, just right… I was all Goldilocking up in there. The gentleman behind the counter mentioned his sales associate LOVES that purse. Then she walked up and said she loves… and owns that purse. And I was already sold… not only did I see it was 30% off… the tag had the $ 70 purse at $ 39. When I went over to check out… I was told it was down to $ 29. Now, take that additional 30% off…$ 22. BOOM. An added plus was that when I brought the purse over to the counter to check out… I didn’t get the same purse from the shelf, they brought out a brand new purse, wrapped in plastic, from the back. Nice touch NWO. Great experience, great staff and great selection… and super sale. Next time… the shoes.

They had some super cute heels for 14.99, but sold out of everything in my size. Def worth stopping at though!

This Nine West Outlet is conveniently nestled in among the convenience stores and hotels of Canal Street. I wandered in while killing some time and walked out for two pairs of shoes for $ 50, thanks to a «Buy One Get One Half Off» sale. The selection here is pretty good, and there are a lot of sizes available for each style. This Nine West Outlet carries a particularly good selection of large-size shoes(ladies’ 11 and 12), which can be very hard to find. My only complaints would be that the staff were almost TOO helpful(I must have turned down assistance eight times in my fifteen minute visit), and that some of the styles were kind of expensive for an outlet. These are not serious complaints though. If you like Nine West shoes, check this place out.

My experience was perfect! I wish I could remember the sales girls name because she was extremely helpful and attentive! Even though I have a big fooot, she just kept trying to find my size in the different styles I wanted. I left with a pair and couldn’t be happier!

I can appreciate a no food or drink policy in a store, really I can. However. It’s not like I wandered in, fresh from Mardi Gras revelry with a Hand Grenade or jumbo sized Hurricane in my hand, dripping greasy shrimp po’ boy juice all over the floor. I walked in with a covered Diet Soda in my hand at 2pm on a Wednesday and was verbally shoved back out the door in a manner that makes me want to help you understand the definition of «customer service.» Shop Girl — I am the type of impulse purchaser that goes out to buy toilet paper, walks past a shoe store and inadvertently buys five pairs of new heels; these ones because they were good for work, those two because they were sexy, and two more just because they were on sale. I’m sure your manager will be happy to know that your attitude cost your store that revenue. I really wanted those little green flats in the window. Jerk. I’m giving the store an extra star because it appeared they had good deals. I should’ve spent more time standing outside looking in the window I guess.
