Great new food truck corral that features food from home and around the world. My favorite was Johnny’s Jamaican, they feature a chicken curry that is my highest recommendation. The seasonings are excellent matched with greens plantains, rice and peas for $ 10, its a great deal. They are only open for lunch on the weekends. Its a great stop on a bike ride. I dont think they have done a great job getting the word out but that should change soon. Hey they even have a DJ.

Where to begin? Well, the jerk chicken from Johnny’s is the BOMB! I mean, if I can get authentic Caribbean food for under $ 15, I’m there! They have curry chicken which is so good, it is next to being my favorite, and I’ve heard that now they offer curry goat on the weekends. Been a fan of them since I discovered their food truck and they are consistent with flavor always! Johnny, Hylton, and Greg are always a pleasure to order food from!

Johnny’s Jamaican Grill has THE MOST amazing Jerk Chicken, so juicy and delicious, Jamaican rice, best greens, I think it’s Callaloo but either way its soooo good and to top it off they also give you plantain perfection. It’s a LOT of food at a great price.
If you don’t know about then you better learn sumthin and come eat here! Luckily we live close enough I think we have eaten here almost every week since we found this gem! Even if u are a vegan (sorry u missing out on that chicken…) eating just the rice greens and plantains is delicious too.
Try it you will be transported to a beautiful island listening to some chill reggae just eating their food.
They have great customer service, really wonderful people run this place! I haven’t been able to try anything else they make because this is probably some of the best tastiest Jamaican food I have ever eaten. Their food is definitely cooked with love.

Why 5? It’s a wonderful experiment and I hope they succeed.
The horchata from Popusa Lady was excellent. The fried catfish from Estralita’s Express was delicious, fresh. I still have to try the pulled pork sandwich from Splendid Pig.
I will come often.

Roux carre is an open air food market, which means there are many different restaurants all serving their own style of food. I got the Jamaican jerk chicken. You know it’s authentic when the cook is actually Jamaican. Tasted great and the portion was huge. I would definitely recommend.
