I just placed an order for delivery and was told my address which is on Audubon street was out of Their delivery range, which is absolute bull shit I ride my bike by Calhoun all the time and by bike it’s no more than 5 – 10 minutes tops from my house lesser by car. It makes absolutely no fucking sense that I was able to make calls to delivery from Fontainebleau which is at least 3 streets down from where I live now But Audubon street is out of range when both Google and Unilocal say it’s 6 minute drive? That’s absolutely fucking absurd.

Papa’s is as Papa’s does. What distinguishes this location from the run-of-the-mill franchises is a personable and attentive staff. Much of their traffic clearly is drawn to serving nosh-needs of local Tulane and Loyola students, so be prepared to wait at crunch times, regardless of whether you ordered in advance. Best advice for making the best of Papa’s deals is to maintain an on-line account and accrue points and take advantage of weekly offers.

We have ordered from them many times but today(Fat Tuesday) we called to see if they were open and the person that answererd said yes. An hour later we placed an order online and the manager called us to say they were not delivering to our area because of the parades. The parade is blocks away from our house and it would be easy to get to from Calhoun. The manger said the drivers told her that they could not get to our areas. We are going to Theo’s instead and will continue to do so. It appears that Papa John’s makes bad management decisions and we will take our business to a local pizza restaurant from now on.

Are there better options for pizza in New Orleans? Of course. There are always better options. But I have ordered from this location over two-dozen times and even lived right next to them, never had a problem. Every order whether take-out or delivery has beed correct and on-time. Order online or with the app, hot pizza at my door in 30 – 45 minutes every single time. Apparently people don’t know how to bring up service issues with store managers. I wish people would give the business a chance to correct the situation instead of just blasting away with poor online reviews.

Worst experience ordering pizza I have had to date. I ordered online, and then immediately realized that I needed to change the order slightly. I tried calling not once, not twice, but three times. Each time, the phone just kept ringing, and the third time it sounded like someone picked up and then hung up. I waited five minutes and called back a fourth time, and finally got through. When I spoke to the service person, he seemed to not understand what I was saying, and just kept telling me that the pizzas had already been made, and could not be changed. I finally asked him what he wanted me to do at this point, since I did not want those pizzas as they were, and he put me on with his manager. The manager was even more rude and abrupt, finally agreeing to remake the pizzas after insinuating that I was completely in the wrong(what happened to «the customer is always right?»). I would have accepted that the issue was with me and probably even bought the«mistake» pizza if the service hadn’t been so appalling and vindictive, and if they had just answered their phone in the first place. When I finally got to the Papa John’s location, I was given the mistake pizza, and when I brought it back to have it changed out for the one they said they made correctly, I found that the additions they had made were sparse, and the pizza overdone. It looked like they had just added the extra toppings I had requested on top of the old pizza and recooked it. I will never go back to this Papa John’s location again. There are plenty of better pizza restaurants in New Orleans, and the service at each of those far surpasses the abysmal service I experienced today.

Hoping things have changed, this is about service as the pizza never arrived… ordered it on the phone … waited waited waited called again only to be told by a very rude person we were out side the area… I order from another company now around the corner and turns out their pizza’s are great!
