What did I just eat? I have no idea, but it was delicious! Korean food is hard to come by in New Orleans so I was really excited to try this new popup in the courtyard of Perestroika at Pravda. The menu is pretty easy since there are limited items… like most popups. Last night there were 2 vegetarians options, 1 seafood option and 3 meat options. I tried the mixed pajeon which was made with kimchi and seafood. It was 4 small delicious pancakes filled/topped with tasty goodness. With the lighting inside Pravda, I really couldn’t see what I was eating too well, but I did take a photo: The business was really steady, so I’m guessing lots of folks are excited to eat here. And there was even a family with young kids who walked through the bar to eat in the courtyard. Definitely worth a jaunt down the French Quarter. Business is cash only. Plates were $ 7 – 10. And there is an ATM in the bar.
