Mon Ami

This place was just across the street so we popped over thinking to get a massage. If you aren’t looking for a «happy ending» then it’s going to be the worst massage you ever get. They were out of the room most of the time, and kept pushing for more than a massage which I didn’t want so it translated into an unhappy ending :(Took money up front and overall was a bad experience… unless you want a happy ending. Not sure how this place is in business, its new orleans… if you seriously need to go to this place you aren’t doing new orleans right…

Update: Sadly I think they are closed now. I went by to get a massage and was rudely brushed off by a maid and construction workers. The gentleman who worked on me last time was my favorite in the city so I hope he contacts me to let me know if he is available somewhere else. Plus I owe him money because he went over my time. He thought I said one hour and I said only half… still want to pay and tip him for that but I was unable to due to my nail appointment right after. Please contact me. Thanks for all the great massages that kept me pain free!
This is a 5 star massage place as far as the walk in places are concerned. It’s beautiful, well kept and clean inside and the people are genuine, accommodating and always someone who speaks English around. Never any attitude and they do take credit cards. The massages are great! And I need to be picky because I have injuries but I always come out of there feeling great.
This is my new favorite place! I usually go to places and have to find one person I like and stick to that person but here I have great massages with everyone so far. They even get me asking for more time, without them asking me which is rare for me to get a full hour just because I feel like that’s all I need or can stand of some of the places that are noisy, have bad music or poor massages. I got an hour back and a 10 min foot massage last time and it was the best foot massage I have ever had!!! It was truly amazing!
They even hand you a full bottle of water, not a small paper cup like most places. It’s a classy place and they deserve our respect and business so I highly recommend it.

I was killing time on a Sunday afternoon when I came upon this place. They were able to take me in for a foot reflexology massage immediately, and the masseuse, Fargo, was a delight. He was a very sweet man who told me I was «beautiful like movie star» and that I had «good body, except for stress.» And none of this was creepy in any way. My feet went from a tense bundle of meat to being as relaxed as is humanly possible.
One note, if you are wearing skinny jeans like me, they will have you change out of them (there’s a room in the back, and they provide you towels to cover up with). If you’re not cool with that, just wear shorts instead!
Oh, and they don’t take credit cards, but that’s to be expected.
