McDonalds

When I walked through the door and saw a dead roach on the floor, I should have walked out. There were cleaning supplies, ladders and buckets all over the place but nothing was cleaned. It really looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days if not weeks. This was not in the middle of the night, this was the breakfast hour on 14^th. This place was disgusting.
The sausage patty my wife had was dark brown/​black. The eggs tasted like rubber and the coffee was undrinkable. This was the worst McDonalds We were ever at.

Son had chicken nuggets, said they were pretty good. service seemed alittle slow. They was an issue with a customer, overheard she was given the wrong change the day before … Staff handled it very well.

I don’t even want to give this place a star. I went the last weekend of October right after the Saints beat the Bills and it smelled like puke and urine, there was no toilet paper in the stalls. There was a lady in the bathroom begging for money. One stall was clogged with bloody… I don’t even know what and paper towels.
There were multiple people behind the counter, but the customer service was the WORST I have ever gotten at ANY fast food restaurant.
RUDE employees, a VERY snippy, angry, and rude manager. And there was an employee that would «clean» the lobby, but he wouldn’t actually work. He’d pick up a try here and there… but he took his time and pushed a mop bucket around and didn’t care that customers were trying to sit down to eat.
My boyfriend and I literally shoved our meals down our throats and left. It was disgusting. There needs to be a health inspection, a clean sweep of employees, and a not so ASSHOLE manager. You don’t like your job, find a different one. You can’t find a different or better one, put a smile on your face and fucking pretend you like it. You’re making money, so do your Damn job and get over yourself.
GM, YOU are responsible for letting it get like this. UNacceptable.

This was a pretty big McDonald’s just a short block from the infamous Bourbon Street. I’m not sure if it was because it was located in a touristy area, but they didn’t have a value menu or any deals when I ate here. The food was what you would come to expect from any McDonald’s and my order was brought out promptly. There was plenty of seating, but I took my food to-​go so that I could eat it while watching TV back at my hotel room.

What can I say? This is a great McDonald’s. The workers are warm and helpful. There are spacious aisles, not like ones back home where one has to walk sideways to get past the tables. I should mention that there was actually seating at the tables. This is a tourist area, so I do see some happy customers. Talk about clean surroundings!
