Its closed now and it when I visited, it was just some dive bar just off Bourbon Street. Was a girl there by herself with a tight and very short dress — probably a working girl. Otherwise, a very forgettable place, and not something I would take the time to review. I came here to put in my two cents as I saw it on the show 48 hours! Some fight started there and a guy ended up being murdered out front. Probably what finally led to them shutting this place down.

Hands down my favorite place for wings in New Orleans. Large hand battered wings that come in several original flavors. Cooked perfectly every time. Burgers are equally amazing. I’ve done way more eating than drinking here, but the drinks are strong and cheap. Go here.

Just what I needed. Great burgers, and nice guys. Got a free upgrade on my fries as we chatted. Highly recommended(and not just for the free upgrade!).

The bar is great! Shelley was our bartender and she was fast and personable. We’re only planning on 1 drink and ended up having 5 because she was so great.

Had jalapeño burger. Took a while for them to make it. The patties were pretty large. After eating it i actually didn’t feel so awesome. It tasted good though. It just had a strange texture. Not sure if i want to eat that again. This particular dive bar is interesting. Regardless, the toilet is the most disgusting thing i’ve seen. Imagine a toilet bowl that hasn’t been flushed in a week. Grossed me out. Drinks however are cheap. Jameson was 3 bucks, PBR’s are i think 3 or 4. I’d stick with the drinks and avoid peeing.

I’m super surprised this place does not have more Unilocal reviews. But also super happy, because I’d love for this to remain my little French Quarter secret! Last Call is on Conti St, about two steps off of Bourbon and right across from the equally awesome Erin Rose bar. It’s fairly small, with maybe ten bar seats and a few tables to sit at. It’s open 24⁄7 and only has like 3 people on staff so it’s very easy to get to know the bartenders. Devon is typically tending while I’m there; he’s the super chill, tall dude with a beard that another reviewer mentioned. Last Call has a fairly fully stocked bar — but really, you’re going there for the beers and the shots. Cheap beers and cheap shots. Once having partaken in many of these cheap beers and cheap shots, you might find yourself a bit drungry(can I start a new mashup of drunk and hungry? will it catch on?). You’re in luck at Last Call, because they do somehow pack a tiny kitchen into the bar. I wish I could tell you what was on the menu, or how delicious the food is. but I have no idea. Too many po boy sandwiches and oysters being had at other places to ever be hungry while at this bar. What brings me back here time and again is mostly the awesome locals I inevitably meet here. Something about Last Call, and the awesome Devon, brings super friendly and chill locals, at least in my experience. As long as you are friendly yourself, and aren’t ruining the vibe by being crazy wastedface, you will absolutely be welcome here.

Such an awesome place! Came here around midnight to feed our wedding party and they were more than able to provide. Wings, burgers, cheese sticks, egg rolls, and fries. All fabulous and satisfying! The guys behind the bar and at the grill were hilarious and so accommodating. Best wings in the city! Would def recommend this place for a late night(or anytime) snack. Thank you Last Call!

We frequent New Orleans about every year and we usually end up doing the traditional Bourbon St thing. 2 years ago(2012), this place was recommended by a local we ran into. He insisted that we try the Spicy Garlic Parmesan Wings from this place, so we hobbled over there and I got them. Maybe it was all the alcohol, but I swore these were the best wings I had ever eaten. After we returned home, I quickly forgot about all of the generic spots and occurrences on that trip, but the memory of these wings stayed with me. When we came back to NOLA the following year(2013), we tried to find this place again but we didn’t have any luck. I actually thought another place was THIS place but after I tasted the wings and sat in there for a few minutes, I quickly realized it wasn’t. Drunken Recall did not work out in this situation. I returned home disappointed and hungover. Flash to last week– We go back to New Orleans the following year(2014) and a girl that’s with us insisted that she found where ‘that wing place’ is from looking at Street View by going up and down Bourbon, looking down the side roads. She shows me the place online and I immediately recognize the sign as familiar. I look it up on Unilocal and notice the ‘$ 5 beer and shot’ sign and it becomes more familiar. After we get settled into the hotel and grab a few beers along Bourbon, we head over to Last Call. We round the corner on Conti and I see the sign. This was the place. We walk in and I see the table we were sitting at two years ago. I have no idea how she found it but she did. We take a seat at the bar and I immediately order the Spicy Garlic Parmesan Wings. 10 of em, and a Heineken. I sat there in suspense when the bartender took the wings out of the fryer and began to sauce them with care. He folded the wings into the hot sauce in a large bowl about 10 – 15 times and placed them in a to-go container in from of me. I opened the container, grabbed a wing and took a bite. SUCCEEEEESSSSS!!! THESEARETHEBESTWINGS I’VEEVEREATEN.

I was on my second trip to the French Quarter and I saw this place and decided to give it a try because I couldn’t sleep. so at first when I walked in I was a little scared lol but once I sat down and got a drink I realized what a great place this is! It gave off a very homey vibe and didn’t make me feel out of place at all. The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming! The drinks were a reasonable price and the food great! and when I say food I mean the wings and burgers! MUSTTRY this place!

I’m pissed I can’t remember the name of the bartender. He was just an unassuming white guy with a beard, prob mid-20’s. Either way, he was a real nice guy. They have $ 3 Jameson and Fireball shots(here’s what an idiot I am. I asked«What’s a Jameson Fireball?» It was explained to me that you can get a shot of Jameson or a shot of Fireball…) Is this the most hoppin’ joint on or off Bourbon Street? Hell no. But it’s a good spot to start or end the night, and I promise you’ll get drunk here for about half what you will anywhere else and you don’t have to fight a crowd of frat boys to do it.

This is the perfect unknown dive bar that still is within the greasy grasp of Bourbon. Roaches? Check. Bathroom from trainspotting? Check. $ 5 for a shot AND a beer? CHECKPLEASE!!! It’s laid back. Walk in just as you are. Ignore the occasional working girl. Everyone there is always friendly. Usually you have never seen them before and never will again. Order some wings or fries. Listen to the music, usually bartender’s mix. Get your buzz on GOODANDSTRONG for under $ 15, then stumble, comfortably numb, into the a**clown vortex known as Bourbon Street. I stop here EVERYTIME I go to Bourbon. If you are looking for shot girls selling sugar water or a DJ yelling at you to «put yo m**eff* hands in the air» you will be sorely disappointed. If you like a low key day drinking place to kick off your party, you will find it here.

Great bar right off Bourbon Street with awesome drinks and delicious food! Nice change from the super touristy bars right around the corner. Kenny was a great bartender!

Surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews. In the French Quarter, half a block off Bourbon Street. Seemed to be more of a place for a mix of locals and experienced travelers who do more than each tourist bar. It’s basically a dive bar, well it is a dive bar but a cool one. The bartender went above and beyond what he had to do. We came in, mid afternoon. It was my friends B-Day so you know he’s getting drunk. My friend was pulled in by the slot machines on the side. Well we were there awhile and the bartender hooked my friend up with about 5 free shots. A personal friend of his came in with some home made Alligator sausage and he gave us some of his that he paid is friend for. We ever came back a few hours later and at that time the place got busy and he invited us over for a few more shots. We tipped him very well. He was a good conversationalist and just made the whole experience a good one for a few hrs at that bar. Not to mention cheap drinks in general!

Amazing turkey burger. Cheap beers. We were all a little drunk and needed something affordable before we hit bourbon street again. $ 11 burgers and specificity sauces. Vegetarian friend got the jalapeño poppers and she was very pleased. A must for all the drunk tourists or anyone wanting a good burger at non-tourist prices.
