I’ve been here once before, but thought to pop in to look for a wedding gift for our friends while I was in the French Quarter. Museum shops are great since you can usually find local or unique gift items that have a cool story behind them. I would suggest tourists and locals check it out. Prices are well a little pricey for some things, so I would check online if the price is consistent. I loved all the vintage looking postcards and thank you notes as well as this line of fine china designed by Caskata that are absolutely stunning and fit very well with the local seafood and flora culture down here. The sales assistant was very helpful when I asked about prices and wanted to take a picture. I ended up buying an Audubon print that I’m custom framing as well as a metal fish that was crafted from steel drums and Alexa Pulitzer that I’m obsessed with. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Quarter and need to pick up some thoughtful gifts!
