I’ve came in 2 times and both times the food was amazing! The service was out of this world both times! I will be recommending this place to everyone and I will continue to be a customer as long as this keeps up! I could eat the homemade bread and spiced olive oil until I’m blue in the face, that is by the way complimentary! And don’t forget the complimentary cookies at the end that are out of this world. I highly recommend stopping in to eat for lunch or dinner!

This bar is unnoticeable unless you really pay attention to the stores prior to bourbon st. There’s one pool table and never a huge crowd, so drinks are readily available anytime. Cheap drinks, good vibes, fun times.

Food was great and exquisite, service was really déficient, I hate having to pour my wine when I pay 100 $ for à bootle…

I was here for a conference in mid-summer of 2009 and was fortunate enough to witness an AWESOME thunder/lightening storm around 5pm or so(NOTE: Humidity was 100%). I was staying at the hotel across the street, so I ran into this little bar called Dominic’s. I asked for a Hurricane and had a great conversation with the bartender(don’t know her name) –she was telling me about the city, etc. Other patrons in bar were very friendly and had the«Southern Charm». Other bartender showed up later and he was so cool too. Jukebox selection of music was wide(but a little too loud). All in all — GREAT dive bar!

Dominic’s is a tiny little bar right next to the Holiday Inn Express in New Orleans. It was nothing special. I paid $ 9 for a Sex on the Beach & a Coors Light bottle. The only nice thing — they let me take the alcohol back to my hotel room. He he.

this is a hit or miss depending on who is behind the bar. sometimes they’re so loaded, they forget your there, and then try to charge you for things you didn’t order, cuz they’re so loaded they forgot. other times its nice. and you get someone who isn’t loaded.(you’ll know right away) the staff that isn’t loaded? will tell you where to go, and what to see. the loaded staff? is over the top with ridiculous new orleans smack talk that really isn’t the way it is anymore. including the overpriced drink you may never see. stupid movies on? move on to another bar. Music too loud? move on to another place, and come back tomorrow, when there’s a different bartender on.

In the heart of the CBD Dominic’s Bar is a low key, relaxing bar. The bar is decorated sparingly with mix of a new orleans dive and a upscale bar. The bartender is quick, conversational, friendly, attractive and down to earth. Looks to be hang out for locals as well as the after work crowd. Good looking group here, but not to be intimidated at all it’s cool… They sell drinks only, chips and have a organized list of restaurants that will quickly deliver food to the bar. The floor, bathroom and facilty is very clean. They also have two tables that seat 4 people each. So if you wanna come here and get your laptop on, it’s possible. Against one one wall is a bench where groups can sit and drink as well. Great seating arrangement at this bar! Good walking area as well… They have a projector that plays movies while music plays in the background. The projector sits to the left of the bar. So, you don’t have to look at it if you choose not to. The volume is perfect. Not too loud and not too low. Great selection of classic blues and New Orleans Classics. I will definitely be back! Stop by here with your girlfriend, your guy friends, business partner, girlfriends. clients or mom. It’s tailored for all crowds! The prices are fantastic… No $ 4 beer here! C’mon In!

Located right next to the Holiday Inn hotel(actually the back door opens into the hotel but I don’t think that they are affiliated), how convenient is that! Waiting for your party to come downstairs, it’s nice to pop in for a cold one. It’s really a dive but the bartender was cool, he just chills all night watching X-Files on flat screen and smokes. He knows how to make them strong so watch out.

Decent bar, though the music can be a little loud. Hard to have a conversation if you are having to yell over the music. Decent drinks, fairly strong. AC works, which is always a plus this time of year!
