This place wasn’t even in Unilocal — so I’m adding it. No wonder my iPhone Unilocal app couldn’t find it :) I brought back to my hotel their printed menu so I had their address and info. Walked down Carondelet to my hotel a few times in the past week.(This is the same street as Bourbon St., changes names at Canal) They had live music that was decent… So I stopped in Thursday 10pm for a 45 minute visit. Live music was good, near the door. Plenty of staff, but not entirely attentive(but didn’t mind being called, watching others do it). I liked the dual-level bartop. $ 4 for a house red wine(Cabernet, decent). Since only one visit… not sure if a pattern: Several of the beer taps were empty and at first they told me red wine was sold out(10pm) — so I asked for an iced tea($ 2 I think). Anyway, they found the wine before serving the me tea — and gave me the tea for free. Had printed menu with acceptable prices. Their menu says«More Sandwiches and Entrees Available — Just Ask!» — I like that attitude. Didn’t have any food on my visit. No games or gimmicks I saw, slightly out of the way — the $ 4 wine price really impressed me for the time of day(it is next door to the CVS on Canal street, really not).
