I found out about this bicycle shop on Facebook. I was in need of a new bike and my birthday was coming up (in July), so I stopped in. They had the bike I was looking at online, the Public C1. It’s definitely the best bike I have ever owned. Marin was so nice and knowledgeable about these bicycles. She hooked me up. I am definitely recommending this bike shop to everyone I know. It’s also inside of a coffee shop, so you can get a cup of coffee while you bike shop!

Stopped in here tonight to buy a couple of random things, walked out with a new bike, that I love! Marin, who took care of me was beyond lovely and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and look forward to coming back in the future for my cycling needs in New Orleans!

I was riding in the area and my chain unexpectedly broke. Dashing was right around the corner from where I was, so I walked in and they fixed me up with a new chain within an hour and a half. I ended up spending a lot less than expected, so I also bought one of Defend New Orleans t-​shirts that they stock. I didn’t try to coffee since I my allegiance to french quarter coffee shops lies elsewhere, but the other customers in the shop said good things about their drinks. Quick and quality service at this place. I will definitely be coming back.

If you love bicycles and you love espresso, why haven’t you been to Dashing yet? The ladies are ridiculously friendly and very helpful. I purchased a beautiful new bike which Marin built for me and then adjusted to fit perfectly. I didn’t partake of any coffee because I was already on max overload. But they have a La Marzocco machine! Go there.

Three cheers for women-​owned bike shops! Super friendly service, beautiful bikes, and a wonderful selection of clothes and accessories. I picked up a lovely ladies NOLA bike t-​shirt though I really wanted to get one of her specialty bikes.

Cute little bike/​coffee shop near our hotel. My husband purchased an awesome NOLA biking shirt, and I enjoyed some lattes. The two gals that own the shop are super sweet and friendly. there are also some pretty cool vintage items as well– It would be awesome if they sold some of those items online! I was totally eyeing a vintage fan! I shoulda bought it when I had the chance!
Oh well I guess I’ll just have to go back to New Orleans ;)

Got a quick and low cost flat tire repair in a few minutes. The lattes also super delish. Great addition to the neighborhood.
