Dr. Claiborne and his entire staff are amazing! I truly enjoy going in for my appointments. They are efficient and respect my time. I have not had to wait long amounts of time in the waiting room. It’s clear that Dr. Claiborne cares about each individual person and case. He listens and is patient when I tell him my concerns. The esthetician Nikki is very knowledgable about skin care lines and works with me to deal with my sensitive and sun damaged skin. She is gentle, experienced, and professional… everything I would want in my esthetician. I can’t forget Annie, the office manager, is very personal and has helped me a lot through out my visits! I have been to many dermatologists throughout the years and Dr. Claiborne’s office surpasses them all!

While Dr. Clayborne is a kind, professional and skill dermatologist, his Billing and Office management staff are not. I had an outstanding bill that I believe was an insurance error, and I was unemployed, so could not afford pay the bill and seek reimbursement from my insurance company. Once I was finally able to resolve it with insurance, and realized I owed it, it was too late. They had already reported to the credit bureau and collections agencies, and refused to reverse any of that action even if I paid the bill in full immediately, something that would’ve been a financial hardship, but I was willing to do. This caused a permanent effect on my credit rating! The billing department is also IMPOSSIBLE to reach on the phone. It always goes to voicemail, and you have to wait for a call back. I am already in an extremely difficult situation, and this treatment has left me really sad at the lack of compassion. New Orleans is a small town, I expected more.
