I had the Southern Thang burger. Pros: Great tasting pimento cheese and sweet pickles. Not overdone with all the other ingredients. Classic thin burger patty as I prefer traditional over gourmet. Cons: The bun was dry and partially toasted. Price a little steep, $ 8. I would recommend and try them again as they have some other great looking burgers on the menu.

They came to our school and fed the staff of 80! Super fast, Delicious burgers with a wide variety of options, and affordable! I will be searching for them in the future!

I think this is the BEST burger in town. I was blown away when I first had the Burgalaya — tasty, juicy, meat perfectly cooked. Two words — crispy andouille. To die for. I love that they’re not afraid of flavor. You could taste each component and then they all came together for this amazing burger. Not everyone can do that. Most of the time, the ingredients are separate and don’t come together well, or all the flavors get mushed together such that you can’t tell what’s in it. Also, they’re consistent, which is key and always appreciated. I will be back for more and more and more — nomnomnom.

Burgers ya heard food truck serves burgers with a myriad of toppings that are good but they missed one thing, the burger. The toppings are great but the burger is small, thin and tasteless. I had the pimento cheese burger, the pimento cheese was excellent and would have been better served as just a grilled cheese sandwich because the burger itself was underwhelming for $ 8.

I’ve had gotten food from here 3 times and it’s great. I like going when they park at the Rusty Nail. This weekend I got the Southern Thang which is a burger with pimento cheese, a fried green tomato, and bread and butter pickles. Need I say more??? The jambalaya burger is extremely good as well. Burgers are about $ 8 which I think is very reasonable. They are bigger than Company Burger but smaller than Port of Call, so they are the perfect size.

Fast service. The only thing I’ve tried is the veggie burger and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The fries were great. Crisp, seasoned perfectly, and a perfect serving size. The baked mac and cheese is everything you want in mac and cheese. It has longer noodles, but I’m all about it. I definitely recommend.

Stumbled across this food truck parked on Carondelet between Howard & Calliope(river side of the WDSU building) building during lunchtime. I really didn’t need a burger, but I like to support small/new businesses and I hadn’t heard of this truck so I decided to check it out. Burger toppings are unique and I ended up with one called the«Gringo» — topped with avocado, pico de gallo, and a lime-zest mayo plus there was seasoning on the burger. Seemed like great quality ingredients and tasted great — no complaints. I also got a side of mac & cheese which was a casserole with spaghetti noodles of all things but it was homemade, cheesy and quite good. The burger was $ 8 and the mac & cheese was $ 3 — not a cheap lunch but not bad for good, homemade stuff. I’d definitely go back, and if you see them around(or are near Howard & Carondelet at lunchtime) it’s worth a stop. Nice people and good food, I wish them success!

I needed lunch and nothing brick and mortar nearby(interpret walking distance in heels) appealed to me so I thought why not give the closest food truck a shot. They were located at Tulane & LaSalle in front of the Tulane Univ Medical center. There was a line of people ahead of me(good sign), the lady taking money was extremely chipper and they use square(great sign), and that’s when I noticed that they had Mac & cheese on the menu(amazing sign). My food truck criteria was met, so I placed an order for the Mac & cheese burger with a side of fries. The burger was delicious, I don’t see why more people don’t substitute Mac and cheese for cheese slices on burgers. Long story short I enjoyed my meal and the other patrons seemed to leave as happy campers as well.
