the seat was good with a nice view of Bourbon Street the fried pickles were also good but fair warning they are sweet pickles I had the deep fried burger it was not cooked all the way through and it was incredibly hard to eat my husband had the jalapeño which was alright the fries are average also I won’t be back but it wasn’t too bad

A friend and I came here for dinner and split the Debris Fries, cheesy cheddar fries with roast beef and gravy topped with sour cream and chives served in a cast iron skillet for $ 11. AMAZING!!! I got the cowboy burger, which was excellent as well. The interior was like homestyle kitchen feel, with granite countertops for each table and a paper towel holder to wipe the delicious grease and BBQ sauce off your hands. I wasn’t a fan of the big screen TVs in literally every corner, but if you’re a sports fan I’m sure you’ll appreciate it. Service was prompt and friendly and the prices were mid-range($ 10 – 18), which is actually very good for Bourbon Street.

Dabrielle… thats all I can say!!! Our server was so good I remembered her name and thanked the manager for having her. What a GREAT intro to NOLA with this staff! Food was great, esp the tabasco mayo(and this coming from a person who has tried mashed potatoes that are too spicy). Did the ‘make your own’, was worth every penny. FYI…comparatively speaking, this place is C.L.E.A.N. which is hard to say on Bourbon Street.

Great burgers and drinks. We went on a weekday at lunch and it wasnt too crowded, had great AC for a hot day, and delicious food. I did the build your own burger and had the pretzel bun, it is the best pretzel bun I have had! It isnt a NOLA staple or anything, but when you are wandering around looking for lunch this is a great place to go on bourbon st.

I had the Crawfish Salad and it was a good lighter fare still wanting to eat some New Orleans seafood. I HIGHLY recommend the Beignet Fries. Those were better than Café Du Monde’s beignets by far. The service was outstanding, and the balcony view over Bourbon Street was very memorable.

5 starts for our server alone. Dabrielle, you are a gem. You took our party of 9 in stride. Not only providing amazing service, but you constantly had a smile on your face. The food was very good. Everyone had something different. The hotdog was humungous and amazing. Burgers were good. Beers were huge. The trifecta is an amazing option for those who are indesicisive.

What a great little gem right in the heart of the huddle and bustle of Bourbon Street. The wait staff were excellent and gave great advice on what some out of town folk should sample. The atmosphere is good, facilities clean; great spot for sports fans alike. The ragin Cajun beer was not too shabby.

Went here with a party of six. Two kids, Mom and Dad and the Grandparents. We all agreed that this place was bad. Everything that was deep fried was really fishy. The burgers were disgusting because the meat was bad, I mean I think the meat was old. Way over cooked and really hard the chew and even though I asked for only one piece of meat they still gave me two parties. The BBQ sauce was very different, I’ve never tried anything like it before and last but not least the bread was supper soggy because of all the grease. At the end of the day thus place was not for me. Sorry for the negative review, please try this place out for yourself but be aware of my experience. Oh one last thing, the waitress was really nice but she clearly saw that 3 of the six people only took a few bites and she still charged us full pop and didn’t ask us if we wanted something else and or let the manager know of our situation.

We stopped in for a couple of beers to go. We hung out for a while and watched a few minutes of a football game. The bar was packed but the bartender was really quick and friendly. She let me sample a couple of local brews before I made a decision. They have a great selection. I’d love to come back and have something to eat!

These guys are awesome! Best burger restaurant in New Orleans. Service was on point, they made sure we had our food in a timely manner and food is fresh. We flew in from Atlanta, And this is the first place we went to. And we will definitely be back before we leave. My friends ordered the Gator burger and the deer burger. I personally ordered the buffalo wings, which was very good. We left super happy! Btw they’re drinks are very good too!

Went in by myself to grab a burger real fast and a few beers. The place was full of people eating and watching college football. Didn’t want to take up a whole table by myself so the host at the front found me a seat at the crowded bar. Bar tender Was a really nice guy who was extremely busy but still provided me with great service. My burger was delicious(bourbon burger). wish I went there with everyone I came to the French Quarter with!

Travis and the very rude almost black girl AKA bartender ruined my friends wedding party. AND the gentleman at the door with his pants down was another disappointment . Nothing but trouble in there. So sad. Has potential.

Atmosphere: Located right on Bourbon St. with an open patio… If you’re not there to watch the games on one of their many tv’s then you can just people watch. It honestly feels like a large chain restaurant however from my understanding it is the only one — according to their website. Service: Our waiter was… interesting. We couldn’t figure out if he was just overly awkward… or on something. Over the course of the night we saw where he had messed up a few tickets for other tables — and sure enough some of ours were messed up as well but I don’t fault him for that since we had such a large group. Food: I only order the wings and a small cup of Jambalaya. The wings were so-so and the Jambalaya was fairly decent. I’ve had better in the quarter but this wasn’t bad. My reasoning for knocking this down past a 3 is because of the food the other members of my party received. One of which was the gator burger. The member of our group who ordered it barely finished half before offering it off to the rest of the party. I sampled it and the pickled onions were so overwhelming I couldn’t taste the meat itself. Another member ordered the nachos with crawfish and that that was the last we heard from him for the rest of the night. Overall: If you’re just wanting to grab a beer other than bud light on Bourbon and watch a few games I would point you here — if you’re wanting some great food I would point you elsewhere.

Good food, good service, don’t miss the debris fries, they are the BEST!!! Staff is fairly attentive, plenty of screens if you’re a sports fan. Burgers are good, rolls are fresh, they don’t skimp on anything. We never come to the French Qrter without stopping in here. Tonight we had a seafood dish(shrimp, crab? crawfish stuffed mirliton — that was new to me, it’s a squash — who knew?) which was very good. Side was cheese grits, they were underwhelming. Hubby had alligator pork brat — didn’t care for the taste(he’ll eat most anything) but perhaps it would appeal to others. One great thing about the place: food has always come hot from the kitchen. Some dishes come to the table in the cast iron frying pans they ever cooked in, so they stay really warm until you’ve finished with them. It’s not upscale dining but a good place to duck in off Bourbon St to chill a bit and have a bite.

I wanted to give these guys a better review but there were a bit too many things that didn’t sit well with me. I’ll start off with the good stuff. My Gator Burger was the ! Get it the way they make it with the slaw and no cheese. This burger was expertly made and I would order that to go if I were to ever go back there. They have large TV screens and were playing some old NFL Footage on the NFL Network that had both my brother and me very entertained. Now for the not so good parts: 1. The restaurant is located on Bourbon Street so I sort of get this next rule but they wouldn’t allow me to sample any of the beers on tap. They had over 30 beers available and I wanted to narrow down which one to get since the glasses they came in were literally as big as my head. Nope, sorry we don’t give samples. «But I’m a paying customer dining in. I’m going to buy a beer.» «Nope sorry.» After she«begged» her manager, they allowed me to sample ONE of the beers and I ended up going with that one just to avoid any hassle. 2. There was a Unilocal check-in deal for a free appetizer with a purchase of an entrée. I pull it out to use it and was advised by the waitress it has to be with the purchase of TWO entrees and it can’t be separate checks. Wait, I’m sorry. How many stipulations do you have on this deal? We ordered the crawfish beignets and they were completely burnt. If you don’t want to give a free appetizer, don’t offer the check-in deal. It’s pretty simple… 3. My brother had the Cowboy burger and he only ate half of it due to it being way too salty. He downed his soda and half my water trying to eliminate the salty taste but no bueno. It was also a messy burger and was difficult to eat. He felt like they should give a bib with the burger. Should you eat at Bayou Burger? You could but I can’t guarantee what type of service you’ll get or how your food will taste. I can say that my Gator Burger was absolutely delicious. If you want to try one, this would be the place to do it.

My son and I were thirsty and hungry after sightseeing in the Quarter and just happened to walk past this place. The blast of cold air lured us in. The beer was cold in a frosted glass. Just what we needed! They were 2 for 1 which came to $ 5. Unbelievable considering their size. Our waiter was delightful. We ordered the gator traps. They came with medallions of well seasoned corn and 3 dipping sauces. YUM! The gator was tasty. The corn was an unexpected surprise. Between the beer, gator and corn, we were too full to order anything else. The gourmet burgers coming out of the kitchen though, looked amazing. Upon our return to Nola, we will be back!

Bayou Burger has a nice little spot on Bourbon. On our way out of town, we found some close parking and walked a bit till we found somewhere to grab lunch, which happened to be here! Staff is great, greeting us at the door and getting us placed quickly, asked us where we wanted to sit and told us the table by the window is nice with the breeze. There is also seating on the balcony which is where I plan to go next time! Something about the novelty of dining on the balcony is exciting to me. Our waitress was new, and although she was still learning she was very sweet and still knowledgable. Didn’t get drinks here because we were leaving immediately after but I imagine they’d be pretty good(because they’re always packed up top and down below at night). I was torn between the Bayou Burger and Dat Bologna. I went with Dat Bologna. The rest of the fam did the«build your own» burger. Burgers come with fries or kettle chips or you can substitute for sweet potato fries(which I did), slaw, gumbo, etc. for $ 1.50 more. I also happened to receive a Unilocal deal-free appetizer with purchase of two entrees. Once they found out that I was Unilocaling, they wasted no time making sure everything during our visit went smoothly. We were visited several times for feedback by a more seasoned server who was also very nice! ***So, getting down to business. We chose the Supertots appetizer, which were HOMEMADETATERTOTS! Seriously the best part of my meal. They came with Sriracha Mayo, also super delicious. I am a huge fan of Supertots and would get them as my meal next time. They were made with cheese and bacon inside. Absolutely best tater tots I’ve had in my LIFE! They’re burgers were all good, Mom especially enjoyed hers with blue cheese sauce. My burger meat was good but the toppings were really the best part. Grilled onions, garlic mayo were scrumptious. The burgers were on brioche buns, definitely worth the visit! They don’t just have burgers, the have seafood and other Nola specialties. This is a good, different stop in the spectrum of Bourbon Street bars. You’re going to pay anywhere from $ 11ish to $ 15ish for one of their specialty burgers. Would recommend/will be coming back(and ordering more Supertots)

What a great place for lunch on Bourbon Street! We stopped in on Mardi Gras day with 5 of us and sat at the side bar. We were actually overlooking a table for 2 but luckily the folks there were friendly and we ended up sharing their fried pickles. Delish! I had my sights set on the crawfish beignets — they are a must — once again along with some gumbo. Perfect meal. Unilocal check ins will get you a free app so if you doubt me at all use it for the beignets! The burgers were great as were the debris fries. We even made friends with the next two people who sat at the table in front of us. Great place with a great feel and awesome food!

Enjoyed lunch with some girlfriends on Fat Tuesday at this restaurant. The wait was maybe 5 mins, max. Great service and very prompt! I ordered a hurricane and the bayou trifecta and asked the server to surprise me with the best three samples in his opinion. He returned with the jambalaya, gumbo and crawfish étouffée. I really liked the jambalaya and étouffée. My friends ordered the nachos, mac and cheese, a full serving of the crawfish étouffée(thank god for spell check) and the philly cheese steak. The lack of convo at our table was a real compliment to the chef. When I come back, I’ll try something with alligator — maybe the burger!
