I’m traveling with a children’s theater company and have a VERY tight budget, which was the only reason I even thought to stay here. The lobby looked much better than I had anticipated, but the rest of the motel has obviously seen much better days. The walls are discolored, the hallways and rooms stank of something unidentifiable, and the rooms were on the dirty side. The only good thing I can say is that there weren’t any bugs and we were close to New Orleans. I definitely would not recommend this place… ever.

If you’re considering this hotel it’s probably because it’s either the cheapest you’ve found or all the other hotels are booked. The internet is slow and sometimes non-existent, the bathrooms are small, and the staff can be a bit nonchalant. If that doesn’t bother you then you should have no problem here.

I’ll tell you what, I could be very nice but honestly i don’t even think i could be for this place. When we were there, they told us that they were in the process of «remodeling». What they were doing i don’t know. Maybe adding some bars to the bottom floors since this place seems to be in the war zone. I suggest if your looking for place to say your car would be better than here. Just say no, and keep on driving! The rooms stank, horribly and we had asked for a no smoklng room, i guess that meant a sometimes working air conditioner. The tv was possessed, and would turn to other channels when we were watching it(the few moments we spent in the room). Other members in the party were wayyy across the hotel(let’s face it, this is a MOTEL) even after we asked nicely, 4 times for them to be near us. The people working there were rude, dismissive and didn’t much care what we did. So, the moral to this story is to keep on driving!
