I love their tartufo slice. The truffle oil with mushrooms and the thin crust. At $ 4.50, its not the $ 1 slices but it’s a premium square slice that is sure to fill u up. I always want to try something else but I always end up getting that instead.

What a cool little pizza shop! The staff was amazing! They great oldies tunes over the radio and the pizza makers were dancing and singing while making HUGE, delicious pizzas at all hours of the night! What an incredible experience, it brings a whole new meaning to ‘loving your job’. If I ever get back to NY, this will be the first stop! Thank you guys for such a delicious dining experience!

So, the name is uninspiring for me and does not scream great pizza, but it was still quite good. Sadly the girl behind the counter terms seems burnt out, but I guess I might be too if I did that job too long. The Margherita pizza was excellent. Fairish prices… Good quality but not cheap price. I would eat here again, but New Yorkers are so lucky that these great pizzerias are everywhere. No pizza drought in Manhattan ever.

Williamsburg Pizza stays hot. Purist, website shows simple qualities. Simplicity usually wins. Went over Wednesday, midnight. Bright, welcoming, full of people(19+me). Got a slice of tartuffo(mushroom) $ 4 and cream soda $ 2.50. Sprinkled extra cheese. Mushrooms had that wet leaf taste; they should. A slice was honored with Sophia Loren’s name. She was always a tease. Watched kitchen help toss dough from metal riser. Huge wooden pizza peel used to feed the oven, was too small. Dough hanging on side, like the rosary on the counter help’s neck. Young crowd, of all walks; along Avenue of the Immigrants. Dudes with Knicks caps. Blonde braided beauties. Brainy girl with owl-size glasses. Packs ‘o’ black-clad hipsters. Girl in Stars and Stripes jeggings. Will’burg has a heavy, rusty, ‘Bari’ oven, slices come hot. Order like locals: «I’ll take this bad boy.» or «Two of these squares, mayun!» Chalkboard menu nicely written. Cool place to lay low after Ludlow parties. Rebel Review says: 4 stars.

I have many friends who go to Williamsburg Pizza and liked it but when I came here I was not impressed at all. I went here with a friend who was a big fan of this place and he went here when they first opened but even he admitted the quality has gone down hill. When I got in here there was no line and I was looking at the different pizza’s asking the typical questions what are customers favorite slices and what do you recommend and the guy got annoyed and walked away and left the counter open to go work on something in the back. That was incredibly rude and obnoxious. So I was not off to a good start. He eventually told me they were all customer favorites which meant to me he does not even know the product he is selling. I picked out on the slices with fresh garlic in it(sbinky bello) and my friend got a regular slice. The price of these slice were pricey for the size and we were both un-impressed as the slices were burnt on the bottom and did not taste fresh. I guess the sticker on their counter window is right, people on Unilocal do hate them. In short: — rude staff — over priced — not as good as other pizza places in the area — I most likely won’t be back

Mushroom pizza and who doesn’t like hot chili oil? Hot chili oil, and who doesn’t like handsome men wearing Seahawks jerseys serving it to you?

If you want pizza then you go to deli but you want real pizza then this is it. I really like the thin crust pizza, plus all the pizza are fresh out of the oven. My favorite is the Bianco. For about $ 3, I can have all the cheese I want. Yum! I will come back for more soon.

I can’t say enough great things about Williamsburg Pizza. I ordered it late one night on a whim and have ever since been blessed with the greatest quality pizza. Their generously hefty pies made with gourmet elegance are what delivery dreams are made of. The mushroomy Tartufo and the revitalizing Grandma pie are must tries!

As someone on Foursquare put so perfectly, «Williamsburg Pizza without the Williamsburg, perfect.» Yes, a Brooklyn named pizzeria located on the Lower East Side, where we keep the watered down, ‘original’ hipsters… «Cultural banter» aside, Williamsburg pizza serves up a really solid slice. Hefty, fresh, fun. Options are expansive and the prices are mostly fair considering the quality you’re receiving. Menu favorites include the truffle mushroom pie, and their margarita. The last time I ate from Williamsburg we ordered two salads which for $ 11 dollars were enormous and had fresh and unique ingredients(kale, beans, artichokes, etc.). The in-store staff is nice and while small, the place is clean and cozy. All-in-all, I would say it’s worth the extra penny over local $½ slice joints to get the vastly better product that Williamsburg Pizza serves.

A pizza place in the middle of chinatown is not uncommon being that Little Italy is right next door but for a place that’s called Williamsburg Pizza, I have to admit this does give off a very Brooklyn atmosphere. Atmosphere: The place is a small shop on the corner with lots of glass windows to let in natural lighting. A great convenience about this place is that you can order by the slice and go where ever else you need to go to fairly quickly or if you do decide to sit in, the place can fit about 20 people max. They play a lot of old school hip hop music like Black Sheep, Biz Markie, Naughty By Nature and others which I love. Service: The guy by the counter was chill. Food: The pizza is good as an average New York Slice. I’ve so far had the Brooklyn and the Margarita. Both slices are a nice slightly above average sized thin slice. The dough on both was a bit dry but still has a nice chew to it — a testament to what a good pizza slice should be is if left out for a while and still has a nice chew. I’m not gonna lie, the roof of my mouth did get cut a little bit and I noticed they don’t use a lot of oil — when folded in half there was no drip what-so-ever, hence the dry dough I’m assuming. I liked the Brooklyn slice more than the Margarita. It had a generous amount of sauce on it that gives a moist acidic counterbalance to the dry dough. The Margarita was a little disappointing because the mozzarella cheese was barely there or noticeable, but it did have a nice strong freshness from the basil. Overall, Williamburg Pizza is not bad. I would very much like to come back one day when it’s a slightly busier where they can circulate their pies more often to have a fresh stock. I’m sure It wouldn’t be as dry if that were the case.

Grabbed a slice here art around midnight on a Saturday night. At first it seemed like the slice selection was a bit narrow but Lo and behold they had a couple pies behind the counter that they hadn’t put out yet. We got the apple bacon with Gorgonzola slice and let me say it was one of the best slices of pizza I’ve had in a long time. It definitely hit the spot. A little pricey, but well worth the price for a premium Sicilian slice covered in toppings. In addition to the tasty pizza, the man working behind the counter was really nice, attentive, and helpful when we ordered. I definitely plan on returning next time I’m in the area!

If you have a yen for artisanal thin crust pizza but happen to be around Chinatown, saunter over to the Manhattan outpost of this pizzeria. The hipster vibe has been transplanted via the friendly, laid back service but the toppings and selections here are definitely more on the haute end. I tried the basic cheese slice first. Slightly too salty for me, without the tang that I love in tomato sauces, I thought it somewhat bland, as if spices like basil, oregano, garlic were absent from the sauce, though the crust was exceptional, crackling with each bite. The dough itself had a certain sourish, yeast taste that overwhelmed the sauce and cheese; I could have sworn they used sourdough. They also served it warm. Is this a new trend? I almost always have to ask places to heat up pizza now. Room temperature might be great for tasting the purity of flavors but sorry food snobs, I like my pizza piping hot. The cheese slice-3 stars. Then I went back and tried the mushroom with the truffle oil, which was beautiful to look at, decorated with many slivers of the fungi, and tasty to boot. I also asked for it hot, which the gentleman at the counter graciously obliged. Again, lacking a slight something that would have elicited an ooh from me and jumped it from 4 stars to 5. This corner joint doesn’t boast much in it’s modern décor, with a few plaques featuring coca cola, a chalkboard with the menu, 4 tables and a counter with 3 stools. It was quite clean, unlike what some Unilocalers experienced. The music was lively. I liked that Williamsburg pizza offered slices with interesting toppings in an area where you either get Chinese food, dollar slices or whole pies. Would visit again to try other slices and to figure out what kind of pizza dough they used.

I wanted to love you. Like that strange girl in class that you knew was wrong but really was oh so right. Well that was/is my relationship with Williamsburg Pizza. But you can only get cheated on so many times before you stop dipping your toe in that water. 4th time we’ve ordered from Williamsburg and alas it may be the last. Let me first say the pizza is delicious. I mean really fucking good. Like hoard it from your roommates because you know regardless if they’re drunk or not they’re going to try and snag it middle of the night. But the delivery … Well the delivery is where they falter. Last time we ordered the pie was about and hour and a half late. This was after a pretty aggressive call. Tonight … 2 hours late and a ghost pie — as in it just never showed. After an hour and a half we were told it would be there in 5 with their«fastest driver» … Well I ain’t no Sally but that was a bunch of horse shit. Called 30 minutes later and after some stern tones I was told that a driver would be called. Lo and behold our pizza was never made and the order was ‘lost’. Gone into the deep dark place of lost pizzas. We shed a tear, left our name for a free pie which they said could be delivered at a future date. We were also offered another free pie — just would take an hour to get there … … So. To deal with our sorrow we cracked that glorious bottle of Old Overholt and stewed a bit. I want you to be better WP but if this is all I can expect, then like Bobby D said — the times they are a changin’

This is hands down, my go to pizza spot. Look nowhere else. They really know how to take pizza to the next level. I’ve tried about almost all of their pizza selections, and each one was so delicious and unique. They use quality ingredients and your pizza pie is super fresh, as they make it right when you order it. If you get a pie, you can choose between round or grandma square. My favorites are the Messina(Artichoke, goat cheese, ricotta, sopresatta), Tartufo(mushrooms and truffle oil), and Grandma. What’s great is you have a nice balance with the crispness of the crust and the scrumptious, heartiness of the pizza and toppings. Where else can you get artisanal pizza that tastes amazing as it sounds? In addition to this LES spot, they also have a location in Williamsburg(duh) so you have to go there too! The owner and staff are super friendly too and they do their best to accommodate you.

Since I volunteer on Saturdays around the area, I thought it would be great to stop by for a quick bite to eat on a late Saturday afternoon. Thankfully, it wasn’t very busy while I went: There was only one table of 4 people. I looked through the display and recalled other Unilocal reviews mentioning a kale pizza, so I decided to go with that. Honestly, when it first came out, I wasn’t too crazy about it as it looked a bit dried. When I took my first bite, it slowly changed my mind. While I still think it could use a little moisture, I liked the flavor and how everything melded together. Perhaps it had kale in it, I felt healthy eating it. I also liked that although it’s a square pizza, it wasn’t thick crust. In fact, I think the crust is less«bready» than most pizza crusts I’ve had at other local joints. I’ve also read other reviews that mention the pizza not hot/warm enough. I literally got the slice and ate it on the spot and it was just warm. At some level, I appreciate it not piping hot because that usually burns my tongue when I take my first few bites. However, I can imagine the slice getting cold quickly, especially in November weather, when you walk outside with it. I also didn’t experience any bad customer service. The lady behind the counter was efficient. Hopefully my experience will remain the same in the future. Since I’ll be volunteering in the area for the next few weeks, it’s safe to say that this will be a go-to place for me during the weekends.

I wasn’t expecting to like them as much as I did, but I’ve been bowled over by the overall deliciousness of their slices, as well as the extremely friendly customer service. It’s a solid 3.5 stars but I’ll round up for good service. The grandma slice was amazing, as was the apple & bacon slice. I was less wowed overall by the Kale Taleggio, as it might have suffered from too many toppings. The Tartufo was delicious in an indulgent way, as most items with truffle oil tend to be. They offer several flavors of Pellegrino sodas, including the rarely seen ‘Melograno e Aranciata’ aka Pomegranate and Orange. It took a lot of restraint not to type !!! after that, because wow this stuff is delicious and elusive. I love that they take cards. I was once denied a pepperoni slice at my favorite LES pizza joint because I was $.75 shy and had to content myself with cheese. Williamsburg Pizza ensures that this will not happen again. On that note, I can’t afford to order whole pies for delivery, but they are a great spot to stop in when I just need 2 slices and some fruity soda.
