Wild serves gluten free, specialty, personal pizzas… Lots of veggie, mushroom, truffle options which I LOVE! They were out of a few items but I was their first guest of the day and they made up for it. I love their Wild Fennel & Arugula salad, several of the pizza & pasta dishes. Everything seems super fresh & healthy! They also made me a fresh squeezed blueberry lemonade — yummmm! It is on the pricier side so I only visit a few times/year when I feel like splurging and want something healthy :)

Giving this West Village gem five stars because not only do they have great food, but it’s all gluten free! And there are vegan options that are delicious! Came here on a whim with no reservation on a Saturday night at 8pm with a friend, and we were lucky to be seated immediately. The restaurant did fill up pretty quickly and its a pretty tiny/cozy place. The servers were incredibly attentive and helpful. We ordered the Skinny Bitch pizza/flat bread and homemade hummus. Both very fresh and flavorful. My friend isn’t gluten free, but she enjoyed the food, too! Success! It’s sometimes hard to find high quality, cozy, healthful and inviting restaurants. Finding Wild was a real treat — can’t wait to return!

This place was cramped, and very noisy as there was a large party next to us. Live music was a nice idea, but we couldn’t hear it. Service was not good. The prices were high for the amount and quality of food, and on checking my card statement later, realised that they had charged $ 5 more than I wrote on the check! Interesting to read Sue U.‘s review suggesting this is not a one-off… So beware!

Tried to come her on a Friday around 7 and the wait was too long for us. Just came back on a Thursday night(with a reservation!) and was seated right away. Our waiter was so nice and helpful. I got the skinny bitch pizza, my boyfriend got the salmon special and both were amazing! We had just missed happy hour($ 6 glass of wine), but still got wine. All their desserts are vegan and we got the raspberry cheesecake which was amazing. I’m vegan but my boyfriend is not and he could not tell the difference. The place filled up by about 7:30, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation! Loved this place and can’t wait to come back!

My wife has Celiac and finally has a favorite place where she can dine on everything available on the menu without worries of gluten or soy(she’s also allergic to soy). Everything is gluten– and soy-free, but gluten and soy aside, the food is great. Try the pizza, chicken parm or ravioli… and save room for desert! The staff will make you feel at home in their cozy dining room. If there’s one suggestion, it would be an overhaul of the beer selection with the addition of Peroni or a light beer and a couple choices of gluten-free like Departed Soles or Estella Daura. Otherwise, it’s a perfect place!

Really enjoyed our meal at Wild. We were walking by and dropped in for dinner. We had the asparagus special starter, which was to die for and I ate the avocado salad, which was solid. My counterpart ate the beet salad and loved it. The highlight was our server. He was super friendly and made our evening great.

Please be aware of this place. My friend and I decide to try it for brunch but totally bum experience. Food was ok nothing special. Unfortunately service was awful. The server was quite in a hurry all the time and a bit pretentious. The worst part was when paying the check and later going over the total amount to add the tip. I noticed the charge done to my card was higher from the total of bill. I call another waiter and asked him if gratitude was already included since the total didn’t match. He wasn’t sure but he said it was not included. I tell him the charge to my card was more than the total bill. So he was gonna check… At the end the tip was charged to my card because the first waiter finished his shift and he included it!!! So what happened here?! Really it is legal to do that?! You charge without telling us??? Totally awful experience for sure.

I seriously cannot get enough of this place. The pizza-fanatic buried deep inside me died a little when I had to stop eating wheat. And so now I gratify her by going to Wild as often as possible. It’s a pretty sweet deal.

Made a reservation for brunch here on Friday, we were surprised when we got there and the place was empty –and stayed empty throughout our meal. Despite the sort of strange ambience, the food was good. The pizza with ricotta, wild mushrooms, truffle oil and poached eggs was so good I was practically licking the place, totally delicious. The egg-white spinach and goat cheese omelette as well as the wild mushroom and swiss omelette were also great. The accompanying salads however were very disappointing. Dry, chopped up romaine with a strip or two of pepper. The goat cheese salad was equally disappointing, the same dry, chopped romaine with a couple beets and two dollops of goat cheese. If you didn’t know already –this place is entirely gluten free! But don’t worry, the pizza and the bread are nothing like the other gluten free stuff around. I hear the menu at the Williamsburg location is a bit bigger, I look forward to trying that location too.

The Spotted Pig told us we would have to wait 2.5−3 hours for a table so we decided to wander around the corner. Though pretty tiny and unassuming, Wild’s outdoor specials board caught our eye. Since they were able to get us in quickly and away from the cold, it seemed like an easy yes. Like I said, it’s tiny. It’s loud, it’s dark, it’s cramped. But it’s also homey and the staff is extremely friendly. The pizzas all start with a vegan/gluten-free crust, but you aren’t limited to just veggies if you want to throw some meat on there. The pastas are also gluten-free so imagine how excited I was to finally be able to order fully gluten-free chicken parm. Granted, it was not the most delicious chicken parm I’ve ever had, but for gluten-free it was just fine. This and the summer sangria I was not too taken with would probably have knocked my rating down to three stars. But the pear salad we ordered as a starter was awesome — just the right prosciutto to pear to cheese ratio– and the boyfriend’s salmon and mashed potatoes, which melted in my mouth with truffle-filled goodness, immediately bring the rating up again. Not cheap… definitely wouldn’t come for the drinks, but bravo on those mashed potatoes, Wild.

Wait, so, all the desserts are vegan except one? Unheard of in a vegan-friendly but not wholly vegan locale. But I’m starting out of order. Friends of ours, a couple, selected Wild to accommodate our collectively diverse dietary choices – vegan for me and J, omnivorous for the other couple – with none of us having been here before. I hadn’t realized that Wild is gluten-free, something none of us needs dietarily but that no one is particularly anti. We started with some drinks. The special Prosecco, which had blueberries in it, was divine. We were equally impressed with the entrées. While they brought J the pizza equivalent of the pasta dish he’d ordered, it turned out to be a boon – that pizza was one of the best vegan ones I’ve had. It was the wild mushroom one, topped with vegan cheese and vegan chicken, and I couldn’t help but steal most of a slice from J. I got the zucchini pasta with vegan chicken added in, and it, too, was scrumptious. Finally, we wolfed down a generous slice of rich vegan raspberry cheesecake. Our waiter was the nicest, and I completely blame the noise level at Wild for his having misheard J’s order. The frat-party-like auditory experience is why I must give Wild 4 stars instead of 5. My assumption is that it would be much more enjoyable to eat at Wild in the warmer months, when they open the patio up and can have a much healthier distribution of sounds. As it was, though, literally everyone was shouting to be heard and we feared for our ever-more-elderly eardrums. All of that said, I would definitely return to Wild for the food and drinks.(We had impeccable conversation, too, but I must credit that to our wonderful friends.)

The pizza at Wild was delicious. We shared two different kinds: regular cheese and wild white. The wild white was delicious, tasty and the ricotta was great. The cheese was disappointing, we expected it to be over higher value since the place was mostly specialty pizzas. The fact that these pizzas were gluten free was amazing! We also had a strawberry and champagne cocktail. It was very, very good!

Nice pizza gem in the west side. I loved the food as much as the nearby Spunto. Went in a group of 4 for work lunch and the lunch special which came with a salad/soup plus a personal pizza was very fast and delicious. Prosciutto pizza as well as the simple salad was high quality. Had no idea gluten free pizza could be this good! Would love to be back.

My best friend and I came to this place for the first time the other night. We went out of our way to come as I eat Gluten Free and I am trying to try out more restaurants that offer lots of Gluten Free options. Wild does a pretty good job at offering things that a lot of GFers have to miss out on! They had gluten free pizza, bruschetta, brownies, cake, pasta and chicken parmeasan. We ordered a mushroom bruschetta before our pizza and it was amazing. We each got a personal pizza and I loved that they had some fairly inventive and fancy looking pizza options(stuff like truffle oil and ricotta, etc) However, as I can be quit picky, I was nervous about getting one of the more adventurous looking pizzas, so I just stuck with the pepperoni one. It was pretty good! I think I might have liked the bruschetta better, but this was a pretty nicely done GF pizza. It was a very thin, crispy crust, which is pretty standard for GF pizzas. I will say that their menu was not the largest and had three main types of dishes to choose from: salads, pizzas or pasta/chicken meals. This might not be a bad thing for everyone, as sometimes a large menu can be intimidating. I myself was left wanting a bit more options, probably because this place was gluten free. I would love to see them offer some GF options in foods that are harder to find GF, like maybe Naan or Pita bread, biscuits, etc. But perhaps they just want to stick to the slight Italian theme of pasta, pizza and bruschetta.(And honestly I think every GF restaurant should have these harder to find GF items, I’m just selfish and I miss eating pita bread and Naan.) One thing that was a little off putting was the brownie that I ordered for desert. The brownie part itself was much thinner than I was expecting, and it had a huge layer of frosting on top. I really don’t want that much frosting on a brownie… I’m mainly eating it for the brownie part! That’s good enough on its own! The service was good, though we did seem to have two different waiters who were helping us. But this might have been because we arrived an hour before they closed. Overall it was a good experience and I want to come back to try more deserts, different pizzas and the chicken parm!

Meh. I have nothing against vegan food, but I find food with no flavor offensive. To start with we had the prosciutto bruschetta, which was pretty good, albeit chewy bread. For my entrée I had the mushroom arugula and truffle pizza and my friend had the chicken Milanese. Sorry not sorry, but the food was awful. The crust on my pizza was so horrid, I took my fork and ate the toppings like a salad. It was supposed to be topped with truffle oil, but for the life of me I couldn’t taste or barely smell it, and truffle is pretty loud. As far as the Milanese, it fell short too. The breading was soft and desperately lacked herbs. I always note the positives, and there were a few. The waiter was really engaging and social. The drinks were refreshing as well, some type of wine spritzer(no alcohol). They also have outdoor seating to soak in the last moments of summer… I think I’ll return for some light appetizers and other wine concoctions. The menu appears to be very good, but didn’t deliver to my flavor expectations.

I went to Wild in the West Village for dinner with my work team. We had a reservation for 9 of us at 6:45pm on a Tuesday(probably why the restaurant was so empty). We were originally seated inside but requested to be moved outside since it was so hot inside with no AC. The restaurant staff was fine with us moving outside and they lined up a couple tables to accommodate our large group. Once seated we began discussing the menu and food/drinks. Despite the small restaurant size, it took quite some time before anyone came to our service. We had to awkwardly ask the busboy if we even had a waiter. Once the waiter came we ordered apps, drinks, and entrees. See below: WEATE… Apps: — Burrata: Highly recommend. I could have eaten this for my entire meal. Although I do say this every time. — Bruschetta: The tomatos were so fresh. The bread is gluten free and basically melts in your mouth. It’s also very thin, not a thick piece of bread like you’re used to eating. Entrees: — Four Cheese Pizza(special of the night): This was my favorite pizza by far. I’m not even sure what the cheese combos were but they were excellent. Not too rich either! — Skinny Bitch Pizza: All veggies, no cheese. Lighter for those looking to be a little healthy. I still really enjoyed it. Balanced out all that cheese I had on the Four Cheese. — Spicy Prosciutto: Super spicy! I was chugging the water after trying this. Probably my least favorite just because the spice factor was a bit overwhelming. Dessert: — Peanutbutter Brownie: Omg. Smooth fresh PB topped on a fresh brownie. Yes. — Mocha Cheesecake: Not impressed. WEDRANK… — HH Red Sangria: Delicious! So refreshing! One of the HH specials that goes until 7pm Overall, I would love to come to Wild again. Don’t expect this to be your typical pizza place. The pizza is all gluten free crust and tastes/looks more like a flatbread. The portions are on the smaller side, too. But that’s not always a bad thing! I left feeling satisfied and not overly stuffed.

This restaurant is PUREGLUTENFREE! Although many restaurants now have their gluten free items highlights, everything served at Wild is GF! No need to worry!(I am not GF, but my little sister is) Very difficult to find GF bread + french toast! Yes its not what we actually are used to, but definitely succeeded in fighting the French Toast craving! Even ordered ordered the garlic toast! Will come back to try their Flatbreads! for non GF’er there are plenty of standard salads and omlettes to choose from.

Good food, incredibly charming and gluten free. Friend and I shared the burrata(very good), beet salad(also good) and pasta special with rigatoni, meatball, sausage and tomato sauce(good but much better with red pepper added). Also got the peanut butter brownie for dessert which tasted great for being gluten free. Food would have been 3.5−4 stars if not gf, but for gf food this place was incredible. Portions are decent and filling, but not much for leftovers. Also, amazing atmosphere. Live music in a large open window? Yes please.

A friend found this place for brunch and I fell in love. It is a cute café with a helpful staff. Everything on the menu is gluten free and vegan(perfect for Celiacs). The first time there I ordered banana pancakes and lemonade which was delicious! Best gluten free pancakes I ever had. The lemonade was tart, but tasty. When I came back one night, I had the penne with pesto but was not crazy about it. I believe it is more of a brunch place than dinner. Agreeing with what someone said before, the tables are quite small, but it is a very nice atmosphere.

I’ve been to Wild a few times and enjoyed the gluten free pizza. It’s very tiny space inside the restaurant, but the food is typically good. However their deliver service is awful. We ordered 2 pizzas for lunch and they were both smushed in half and cold! When I called to complain they only took half off the bill after promising a full refund. Talk about bad management and bad service.
