One of my favorite neighborhood brunch places in New York! They have excellent food, a friendly, humorous, and charming staff and owner, along with their ever-changing décor, all of which make it a pleasure to come back and dine here every time. Good portions, just the perfect amount, complemented with quality ingredients. Some of my personal favorites include: — soft-scrambled eggs w/truffle oil — mashed potatoes w/truffle oil — eggs benedict(crab or salmon) — a pitcher of Mimosa, made with freshly squeezed juice I hope you will enjoy this place as much as I have!

Late review for me. Was there last year, but very memorable. Everything was great. Ambiance, food, drinks and service. Would definitely return.

Loved this place! The waiter was extremely hospitable! We were served with the utmost decadence despite the fact that it was all finger foods. Nothing was left undone. The atmosphere is SoHo to the max. Super ambience, décor and cozy. We didn’t have a whole lot on the menu, but what we had was delicious — one being the spare ribs. We were just left to enjoy our conversation, laughs and bourbon. Will be returning for sure!

I’ve been coming here for years and always quite liked the ambiance, décor, friendly staff and top top notch bread, though have always only gone for brunch or a glass of wine later in the evening.

In short: nothing crazy. Pricing was appropriate, food was on average good but not amazing, though ambience and décor was quite nice. Cozy space with tight, intimate seating. Fish and Chips and the side of Spinach stood out to me. Fish had great moisture with flaky breading, and the spinach wasn’t too creamy. Crevettes were fine, Osso Buco was a bit dry. Ratatouille was tasty but not memorable. We all got a free glass of wine for signing up for their mailer, though we never received any sort of confirmation that we’d signed up. The server still honored the offer, though. Service was a bit rushed and not very amicable, despite the restaurant being fairly empty. I asked the server to put a specific amount on my friend’s card, and said«the rest in cash», giving him more than the balance in cash, expecting a few bucks back in change(which would’ve still allowed for a 20% tip in cash), and never received any change back. Not a huge deal, and perhaps I could’ve been clearer, but I would’ve expected the server to ask if I wanted change, just to be sure. I’d go back, but it wouldn’t be my first or second choice.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while because in the warmer months the front windows are open and it looks like a great indoor/outdoor spot. Finally got around to going today for brunch and it was pretty good. Food: Got the Jumbo Croque Monsieur and my friend got the Vegetarian Quiche. Both were pretty delicious. My bread was a little dry but the flavor was great. The quiche was bomb. I had a few belini’s and they were really, really good. Tasted fresh. Ambience/décor: A small cozy spot. Probably could fit about 25 people tops. It just felt very comfortable and warm. Loved it. I was surprised though, as we went during prime brunch time and there were several empty tables. Will I go again: Yep.

Visiting NYC for work, and I was sure to squeeze in as many culinary delights as possible. A group of us came here on a Tuesday night for dinner. It’s a small spot but our group of 12 was accommodated by a few 4-tops pushed together. Loved the dark, cozy ambiance, with dim, glowing candlelight. Service was a bit slow but our group did show up in shifts. We ordered a few sides to go with our entrees, as well as appetizers to split. Burrata salad was a let-down because… it wasn’t burrata, it was a caprese. I love a good caprese but this was definitely a tease. The beet salad was refreshing and tasty. I really wanted the halibut entrée, which they were out of. Instead, they offered sole. I opted for it and was a little disappointed. The fish was quite mushy. Mashed potatoes were quite good however, super creamy and rich, just the way I like ‘em! The cote du rhone was delicious, I’d go back for that alone. All in all a cozy spot, but probably better for date night.

Our new FAVORITE brunch spot! Delicious fresh mimosas and all day brunch menu! My favs are the Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Scrambled Eggs with truffle oil! Décor, portion, taste are all very European. The amazing service is a plus! Will be back every time I’m in NYC!

Really good salmon eggs benedict. I like how this place serves salmon eggs benedict on a weekday(most restaurants only serve this dish on weekends). My salmon eggs benedict had the perfect amount of sauce, salmon and sodium in it. I like how the dish also comes with potatoes and a salad. Other places I’ve been to usually offer one or the other(if not, none). One thing to note is that this place IS small, so it might be a bit uncomfortable to walk around. It is an outdoor restaurant too so there is no AC in the summer.

Two stars up for good bread and decent wine, but this place misses the mark by far! Three stars down for unacceptable everything else. I’ll go in chronological order: *Server dropped the menus on the floor and then gave them to us in hand. *Server didn’t know the wine list well enough to talk about it and could only recommend what others told her were good wines. *Water didn’t appear for 15 minutes. *Server uncorked wine, threw the wrapper in our ice bucket and proceeded to pour the wine into our water glasses as she forgot to bring wine glasses along. Maybe she shouldn’t be rushing to the back to check her phone every few minutes and she would remember these things. *We were told they sold out of burgers(and another half of the menu – «busy night»), but the table next to us ordered the burger 15 minutes later. When we asked about it our server said the chef just didn’t have time to prepare the burger meat before service but he’s now prepares it. *We ordered the fries on the server’s recommendation and returned them when they tasted old and stale. She the proceeds to taste test the fries ATOURTABLE – who does that?

Our last evening in Manhattan and we had to try Vin Et Fleurs. Disclaimer here, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners a few months ago in Honolulu and she invited me to dine at her restaurant the next time we were in NYC. We arrived in the area early for our reservation so we did a bit of exploring. Trendy, high end shops, cool eateries, cobble stone street, it was a nice way to work up an appetite before our dinner. When it was time, we made our way to Vin Et Fleurs. Cozy, charming, very warm and inviting were my first impressions. The staff were first rate, made us feel very welcome. Food: Seeing it was our last meal before we headed back, I wanted something special. Ordered a couple cocktails to start(Sidecar and a Manhattan) which were a a prefect way to unwind after our long day. We ordered the Country Pâté which were served with greens, pickles, fresh hot baguettes, and what I think was a sweet onion relish. The relish added a nice sweetness to pâté, the bread a nice chewy and crunchy note to every bite. We then ordered the Tune Nicoise(Tuna cooked perfectly rare), Bouillabaisse that was full of shellfish, huge pieces of shrimp, and delicate fish, and the filet mignon. Every dish was wonderful, more fresh bread was brought to the table which served as the perfect dipping tool into the bouillabaisse. Our waiter and hosts recommended several perfect wine pairings with our dishes and we ended the evening with an order of the Chocolate Cake and Tarte Tatin. Lucky for me, the Bordeaux I was currently enjoying went very well with the chocolate cake! Service: Perfect service experience. Our host made us feel at home, patiently conversing in french with my 16 year old daughter to make her feel special. We were well taken care of in every aspect and I saw them offer the same care and attention to all of the guests dining around us. Atmosphere: The restaurant looks bigger in some of the photos I’ve seen online, when we got there I was a little surprised at the actual size. I loved the bar and seating out front if you want to people watch or dine al fresco, or you can sit deeper in the restaurant for a more intimate meal. Value: Solid value for the service and quality provided in Vin Et Fleurs. Their breakfast and lunch menus look equally appealing and are priced in line with other similar establishments. Overall: Great experience, if I lived in NYC I would definitely be dining at Vin Et Fleurs at least monthly. We will definitely return on our next visit to city and will be recommending it to friends that are traveling there.

Vin et Fleurs is one of those cute SoHo restaurants you see on Unilocal but don’t quite know for sure exists until you plan to come here. It is, in fact, as charming and approachable as it always sounded to me, every time I scrolled past it or forgot about it in favor of closer options. Shame on me. VeF is small but oh so chill. If you come on the earlier side of dinner or brunch, you can easily while away a couple of hours and forget that only 2 or 3 blocks away, shopping madness reigns over nearly everybody. It’s very cute here, with a garden theme as the name implies. As for food, when we came for dinner I had the Grilled Tuna Nicoise, which was just the ticket for a light dinner. The Avocado Crevettes is very appealing as well. If you come for breakfast, the menu is pretty contained, but you’ll get some great eggs Benedict if you so desire. Plenty of good wine, too, though no obnoxious upsells, which contributes to the nice neighborhood vibe. I’m making it a regular for me and the SO. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this neighborhood.

Off the chains décor and mahogany vibe. Nearly empty on Saturday before noon. Perfect for a warm summer’s day. Lobster Benedict and French toast over seasonal fruit were some of the best in my life.

Calming vibes, very pretty setting. Beautiful plants if you sit outside, a little more cramped if you sit inside, but very much of a café mood given out in this restaurant. The food choices are great; there are a lot of interesting vegetarian options. However, the food is not as good as I hoped. Nothing wrong with the food, it is good, but the standard doesn’t live up to the prices, that’s all. I did want to try more things, definitely wanted to try the truffled mash and a few other dishes. Maybe I’ll update my review after I get a chance to go again, but the ambience is nice enough that I would go again.

I was looking for a quaint spot for brunch near my hotel in Soho and found this lovely little gem on Thompson, just one street over from the hustle and bustle of West Broadway. The front opens up to the street for a true French café atmosphere(if you ignore the construction dumpster across the street!) A quick survey of the menu had lots of items to choose from but I ended up ordering the brunch special of eggs benedict with lobster. A large cup of joe started the caffeine buzz to start my day. When my order arrived, it came with crispy potatoes and small side salad. I find that sometimes when you order eggs benedict with crab or lobster, there is sometimes an underwhelming amount of seafood. In this case, there was an abundance of lobster for each tasty bite. I would definitely come back here again.

A friend and I came here as we were looking for a place for dinner in the neighbourhood, we were hungry and it’s a nice looking restaurant, so we thought we’d give a try. Absolutely loved it! We sat at the bar, the bar tender was excellent, I didn’t see any drink I wanted on the menu, so I told him what I felt like to have, he just made one on his own for me and it was delicious. He was also very attentive and friendly. Food wise, we had seared tuna, stake, mashed potato and french fries. Each dish was perfect, can’t ask for more. I’d come back here at any time.

This brunch place had a very intimate feel to it. I ordered their eggs benedict and I have to say… I love how crispy their potatoes were. However I was disappointed with their eggs. One of my eggs came out to be fully cooked inside instead of being runny. We were well taken care of by the server. Our water glasses were never empty and he approached us every so often to see if we needed anything else.

Perfect place for an intimate meal, cozy an small and the kitchen is open to the restaurant and makes you feel like you’re home. The service was excellent. The food could be more creative, but we had brunch so will need to return for dinner.

Very hard to imagine the good reviews here even after discounting the one-off bad visit thing which can happen. However for mussles to be served very noticeably far from fresh(in two separate dishes including the boullabasise which I was afraid to eat) and shrimp and white fish gray and frayed — those things are not imaginable in a place with even a line cook who should know better. The bread is an abomination — cure looking mini baguettes served hot — but wreaking of dough conditioner as they appear to be industrial versions of Pillsbury dinner rolls. Again — in a French place — foney cheap bread. Got to say the waiter was not hostile(but far from friendly) and took mussles off the tab. The avocado and shrimp salad had nice fruit but the shrimp were drenched in some god awful sauce. Maybe for good reason. Cute place and I can understand how SoHo shoppers from NJ would like it — but Geeze. I’m not often harsh in reviews but Geeze this place was bad.

Let me get started with the bellinis… Although me and my friend wanted to order the pitcher($ 28) of sangria, our waiter kindly suggested that the bellinis are a better choice. And we’re sure glad we listened because they were delicious! It was the perfect choice for all the amazing food we ordered in this pretty little french restaurant. I had the crab eggs benedict which had a thin later of crab meat that smelled very strong but complimented the sour taste of the hollandaise sauce and tangy salad and well spiced potatoes. One of the eggs was a bit undercooked so I had to pull out some egg whites. The salad was also a little too tangy for my tastes but it worked well with everything else on the plate. My friend had the pancakes with maple syrup, and the pancake was super fluffy and topped with tons of different fruits — ranging from strawberries, blueberries, to mangos and kiwi! It was light and refreshing. Did I also mention that your meal comes with sticks of very warm bread that were baked to perfection and super delicious? On top of the quality food we had, service was friendly and super fast, possibly the fastest service I’ve encountered for brunch at a busy, small, and intimate restaurant… and we weren’t even rushed at all. As I was leaving, the waiter told me: «Hope to see you back soon!» …I sure will be back soon alright because my experience here was memorable.
