This place so cool! Any kind of tequila you can dream of is on this menu. Had a really fun time here with a girlfriend of mine. Good music in a quaint little bar with big sassy flavor.

Second time coming here(the first time was a groupon deal that took you to exclusive spots). My friend celebrated her birthday here Saturday night, DJ kept us dancing through the night and we had the corner tables which was excellent considering the fact that it’s a small spot. They took forever to turn up the AC, I loved the Mexican soda Jarritos color lighting display but drinks are way over priced. For a vodka and tonic it’s $ 13 and they include tip on credit card tabs.

Great job at building suspense and curating mystery. The exclusivity that’s enforced at the door felt like a scene out of one of those old movies where they ask for a password before you get into a party lol There was the longest line ever and my friend slipped inside to pull some strings before the rest of the group was allowed to enter. It was about 6 of us on a Saturday night. Great mixed crowd, atmosphere and ambiance were ok. Not a big fan of the music, I would’ve liked more of a variety. It was my friend’s birthday and she really enjoyed herself and that’s all that matters. Overall had a great time. I’m not compelled to return but would if invited.

They steal your jackets and won’t give them back!!! When me party decided to leave we realize all our jackets from the couch were missing only to find out the bouncers picked them up and put them in coat check. The staff working would not return them until the police were called and decided to call my wife a «slave master» for asking for it back.

DJ was good but why did they separate it from co-op?! Place is lame now and they give you crap alcohol and charge you $ 18 for a shitty tasting rum n coke. This is LES, check your prices. You don’t offer a good enough vibe or view. That explains why this place is ¼ full on a Friday night.

I had my birthday here and reserved an area which I recommend. The place is not that big. My party had around 30 people and we probably filled up about a quarter of the venue. I chose this place because of their tequila drinks and they are strong! The entrance is inside Co-op which is kind of confusing. They play different music than Co-op and had hip hop and EDM. Beware that gratuity is already included on your CC bill!

We came here for a friend’s bday party. Very cool vibe… lots of different décor. Small but a good amount of space to dance, mingle, and chill. Bar tenders are super attentive and quick to serve you your dranks. Pretty lowkey and nothing too extreme. I had a good time, but nothing too amazing to love besides the wall of colorful lit up bottles.

Dj was ROCKING on a Thursday night. Nothing else in the area was poppin’ as much. The crowd is a solid mix of professionals from all backgrounds. The energy was very positive. The place is the same old tiny place that has been converted over and over, the drinks are relative to the neighborhood, and the décor is still, as usual, pretty nice. If you want to dance and rock out to some good hip hop then Thursday was it. Enjoy!

I don’t get all the poor reviews on this place. Its a nice lil spot in the Riv Hotel. Kinda dark but has a nice vibe. We went there to try a couple drinks and the churros. The churros were absolutely tasty but I felt were a tad expensive at 12 $. You get 6 crisp and fresh churros with mango habanero, chocolate and dulce de leche dipping sauces! The drinks are also priced in the 14 – 16 $ range. Our bartender Lulu was a pleasure to deal with unlike most other bartenders. She said she could customize some of the drinks on the menu based on our tastes. We found out that she was ex-PKNY which is a good thing since we love PKNY. We had the tequila flight — a tasting of blanco, reposado and anejo tequilas with 3 different awesome sangritas for 8 bucks. If you’re going to V&S, ask for Lulu and she’ll hook you up ;) Another awesome addition to the LES!

Was here early(7pm) on a Friday night for a friend’s bday party. Situated in the basement of Hotel Riv, they did a pretty good job making it feel warm yet chic at the same time. Great space for hosting a party of 100. They supposed get really busy after 11/12ish, but I can’t imagine them fitting too much more comfortably. Limited space applies everywhere in the city, though. Booze and food-wise, they’re very Mexican inspired. Great range of tequilas and tequila-forward cocktails(yum!). Their mini tacos are really delish, but are kind of pricey($ 15 for 3 bite-sized tacos) for what you get. I’d need two orders to be somewhat full and I’m a small girl. All in all, everyone had a great time here and I’d want to come back just to check out the scene during the prime time.

Just had dinner here tonight and the place was empty. This wasn’t a bad thing because I was meeting a friend that I haven’t seen in a while and the semi quiet was awesome. We ordered chorizo tacos, mahi mahi tacos, chicken tacos, and elote corn & lobster taquiotos. These weren’t regular size tacos, they were mini. Tons of flavor and very filling. Drinks? I had a watermelon margarita and a swizzle. They were good and strong. The place was very clean and tidy but somewhat tight — I say this as I envision the place packed on a Friday night. The waitress was very attentive — maybe it was because we were the only people there for the majority of the night. My only complaint is the addition of the 20% tip which was automatically included in the bill. We, my guest and I, should have been able to determine the tip. What if she was horrible and we didn’t want to give her a 20% tip? Ugh. Overall this was a good experience and I would return.

I was very impressed by this place. The name is very deceiving as this is a really cool Mexican spot and I loved the wall of Jarritos bottles along the wall. The mezcal drinks are delish and I was also impressed by the wallpaper of Mexican currency in the bathroom! More importantly the music is great. Great place with no cover, no hassle, great décor. Drinks are pricey in the $ 16 range.(so not your typical cheap mexican joint). Dressy.

Being the Duke of Viktor & Spoils and all(NBD), I suppose it’s high time to say a few nice words about this Latin chic haunt in the LES. You’d never know from the faux front outside that there’s a bar slingin’ some of the best tequila and mezcal drinks in the ‘hood just to the right of a window shilling hair products, but alas, with a little help from regulars, you’ll have no trouble finding this somewhat secretive watering hole. Upon entry, you have to geek on the Jarritos shrine to the right of the bar. Man, I almost wish I could get someone to do that same piece of work in my own apartment! Never thought to use back lit bottles of Mexican soda as a room’s centerpiece attraction, but someone with a lot bigger creative mind than myself did. Pictures of the installation alone are worth the jaunt inside. Once you have a seat(go early and avoid the weekends if you want to experience it outside of the craziness that is Lower East Side on Friday/Saturday), be sure to try any of their south-of-the-border glasses of moonshine, and please don’t leave without pairing your glasses of agave with a round of their amazing churros. They come with three different dipping sauces; chili infused Mexican chocolate, dulce de leche, and a mango-infused bugger as well. Taking fried cinnamon to the next level, son!

A small, hidden lounge within Co-Op, with a theme I can’t quite figure out. Drinks are pricey but and the crowd seemed good. This is a wonderful spot to have a night cap after dinner at Co-Op, or douce yourself in champagne and dance the night away without much of that«club crap». I was here to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday, and it was perfect for that. I could still have conversation over the hip dance music. It’s great,…the best of both worlds; You could network and socialize or, you could dance if you want to and leave your friends behind…(cheesssse ball, just had to do it). Another wonderful addition to the LES.

I met up with a girlfriend at Viktor & Spoils at the end of my Saturday night to partake in dancing and possibly more drinking. There was more dancing and less drinking done on my part as it had been a very long day full of car bombs, leprechauns and lucky charms. Now I felt like I was not dressed appropriately for this bar at all as I was still in my jeans, boots and green blouse for St. Paddy’s Day festivities but no one at the door gave me a lick of trouble. Yaye for non-pretentious door guys! Once inside, I quickly found my party and partook in an all out dance fest. The space is on the smaller side but it was not too full to be an issue. The music was blaring, the crowd was jumping and the drinks were flowing. My experience sort of went along the lines of this: You make me this, Bring me up, Bring me down, Playing sweet, Make me move like a freak, Mr. Saxobeat. Oh, yeah, mmm yeah, mmm yeah… Repeat! The ambiance at Viktro & Spoils was great and I would love to go back there sooner rather than later to get my inner dance freak on. *cue the DJ*

I came here last night for a light dinner & drinks with 2 girlfriends. I called earlier in the day to see if I could get a reservation for 9:30, and was told they were fully committed for the night but they save some tables/bar space for walk-ins. So we show up about 9:45& the men at the door ask what we are there for — we say some dinner & drinks. They let us in with no problem & escorted us back into the restaurant/bar area, which was very cute & tiny. However, despite the small space, the place was nearly empty — and I couldn’t get a reservation?! That never makes sense to me. Anyway… we ordered guacamole & the roasted poblano and corn tacos — both were delicious, and the tacos were surprisingly spicy. Didn’t love the homemade tortilla chips though… they kept breaking when I tried to get some guac! :-(For drinks I had the Watermelon Margarita(so delicious and flavorful) followed by a normal margarita, which was okay… there was also no salt on the rims for margaritas, boo! We ended our food/drink experience here with the Chili Limon shooters(delicious but SPICY to take as a shot!). Later in the evening(~11ish), the bar started filling up a lot, and the crowd was surprisingly hilly(Murray Hill-ish) for what seemed to be a classy little place. The bathroom situation was also a nightmare — 2 bathrooms for the whole place, so the line got long really quickly. All in all an okay spot… I’d be curious if the scene improves in the next few months, though.

I believe this place used to be club Touch. Do they close and reopen with a new name every six months to make it seem exclusive and«secret» to the uninitiated masses, the wave of b&t invading the lower east side by the sh! t ton? Okay, maybe I’m being a little harsh. I’m here for a friend’s birthday party, and if he wants to splurge $ 400/bottle more power to him. When you’re spending money like that, everyone’s your friend, even the«secret» bar. Still the space isn’t bad. They had three or four parties going on here, in a space that feels like a club, but remains small and cozy too. The door wasn’t as much drama as I expected, but I imagine they had a 3 grand symbol next to my friends name on the«list». If you like to feel exclusive while sitting in what’s being called a *BARN* — that’s because they used reclaimed wood to furnish the interior — you may well like this place. APB to readers out there, the word«reclaimed» usually marks the beginning of the sh! t talking. Sorry I used that word twice today.

Great new tequila bar in LES. We stopped by after dinner at Fat Radish on a rainy Tues night. It was pretty packed though not overwhelming, and both the bar and waitress service were manageable. I was pleasantly impressed with the service — there was a drink that the server recommended that I didn’t end up liking, and she brought out another one comped, nice gesture for sure. Great mixologist, interesting and surprisingly fine drinks for being tequila based(I’m not a huge fan usually). Highly recommend the watermelon margarita!
