I understand rent is expensive, but the food is way over priced. The quality and quantity is not worth the price. I can the same thing cheaper down the the block.

Great food, good service! I like how you can see their menu options, so you know what it is before you actually order it. Their mac and cheese and their chickpeas is really good (and cheap too!!!). What made me come back tho was the delicious salara, the red coconut roll they got up front that is simply sensational. I still have to try the roti here
I would give them five stars, but their aloo pies aren’t the best

This place gets an extra star just because of how friendly the staff was here! Get the doubles! Only a $ 1, but they’re packed with delicious flavor! Got the stewed oxtail and vegetable rice, it was ok, but fell short of amazing. I would definitely come back for the doubles though!

The doubles were excellent, and only $ 1 each. I got «everything» and while I have no idea what everything includes, it was plenty spicy with a bit of a sweet contrast that may or may not have been tamarind sauce.
The location is very convenient to the Lefferts A station and they appear to be open late, at least until 10.

Damn man the food is good, the staff is friendly, but the have a B rating from the Dept of Health! They need to fix that ASAP before they get shut down. Be afraid Sonny’s once they get the rating fixed. And a jam packed one dollar double!
