I scheduled a business meeting here and it proved to be an excellent choice. My business partner and I arrived early and the host explained the history of the vault and showed us where they cut through the 5″ steel vault walls to create windows to the outside. The venue is great for a business meeting. Comfortable, non crowded seating. Low noise levels. Interesting and attractive décor. Basically you are either dining it what used to be the bank vault, or in the old meeting area where bank executives would meet, on the other side of the vault(this vault was unusual in that it had a vault door on both ends of the vault. The food was good. I was trying to get avoid anything too heavy, so I went with corn beef and cabbage instead of the beef and Guinness pie. That was a mistake. While the corn beef was fine, the beef and Guinness pie looked great and my business partner really enjoyed it.

Held our wedding reception here in November 2015. The vault is stunning alone, but filled with candles, flowers, and wedding guests dressed in their finest it really is a force to be reckoned with! From start to finish it was an amazing time, cocktail hour was generous and so tasty. The service was top notch. The drinks were strong and poured frequently. The dinner itself was so well presented and delicious you’d forget it was for a bigger event! The team here are masters of their craft and so personable and kind, shout out to Jason and Amy who helped us through the planning and were there day of to oversee everything. We could not have had a better experience or been made to feel more special. I would highly recommend Trinity Place for any special events or private functions that you are looking to create a ‘wow factor’ with. Jason even took over D. J duties when our entertainers left!!! Enough said! Thanks guys.

I tried this spot at a random time-2:30 on a Wednesday. The space itself is awesome. I’m partial to converted bank vaults, and the décor, lighting, and remaining Christmas decorations made this a very attractive place. Jess took care of me and was kind, helpful, and attentive. I started with the cured salmon appetizer. Expecting a Scandinavian style dish, instead I got a 5 oz piece of meat butterflied over cabbage and sweet dressing with other fruit and veggie garnish. The meat was silky and buttery in taste and texture, which mixed well with the dressing. The cabbage was a little strange of a pairing, but not too off-putting. The orange slices were, however, inspired as extras on the plate. Next I tried the oysters-I had four Long Island Montauks. These oysters were on the smaller side, with a good, middle-of-the-road flavor. They aren’t as meaty as Peter’s Points or sweet as Island Creeks, but they aren’t as briny and sea-tasting as Duxburys. They may the only oysters I prefer with the mignonette dressing than plain or with cocktail/horsey sauce. Eating light, I skipped to dessert, and this was the winner. Sticky Toffee Pudding. Sticky Toffee Pudding. This was a surprise delight. This had almost a cake texture served over a syrup with a scoop of tahitian vanilla ice cream. Yummy, «holiday» flavor that was a departure from standard chocolate cake and ice cream. I could’ve eaten nine of these. Such a welcome variation from stock dessert options, that has the flavor to back up it’s creativity. So the prices aren’t cheap, you’re in FiDi where the clientele will likely be Wall Street 1%ers or tourists. The portions, except for the dessert, are on the smaller side. And, depending on your personality, said 1%ers high-fiving their latest IPO may not be your scene. But, it may be the best place to eat and drink in this part of Manhattan. Between the ambience, the quality of the food, and the sticky toffee pudding(yes it is that good), I’ll definitely be back.

This was a nice find in the city. The front section of the restaurant was a huge bar with booths and small high top tables. In the back area, there was a quiet dining area with minimal lighting. We sat in the dining area. The service was well appreciated and the food came out in a timely matter as well. The only concern was that the menu had limited choices. For an appetizer, the duo of tartares($ 16) was ordered. There was an ahi tartar and a salmon tartar. Both were tremendous. Each one tasted extremely fresh and prepared beautifully. The cucumber and seaweed salad that accompanied both was a nice touch along with the flatbread. It was a good start to the meal. I ordered the Mahi Mahi($ 28) for an entrée. It came with a warm potato salad and sautéed spinach with a vodka-caviar sauce. The reason I ordered this dish was for the sauce. I never heard of a vodka-caviar sauce and was intrigued to try it. I was not disappointed at all besides the size of the pieces of fish. The fish was cooked to perfection and the sauce was very tasty. I did not get a sense of the vodka sauce besides the creaminess, but it was great nonetheless. The potato salad and spinach were good complements with the fish. For dessert, I tried some Apple Tart($ 8). It was served with a scoop of high quality vanilla ice cream. This was a great ending to a great meal. The tart was crispy and warm, which is a dangerous combination with vanilla ice cream. Will I go back? No doubt.

Now, I’ve known for quite some time that Trinity Place was the… err, place for a perfect Old Fashioned. With its massive vault doors, smoky wood panels, and brass fixtures, every candle-lit corner promises Gothic secrets and whispers of unwritten histories. What I didn’t know is what a wonderful venue Trinity Place was for a wedding. Where had that DJ booth been hiding? And had I ever seen the elevator cage-turned wine cellar before? Not to mention the underground kitchen that brought plate after plate of delectable delicacies for carnivore and vegetarian alike! And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention their manager, Amy. Thank you Amy for being so patient with all of our million questions, taking care of every detail and making sure everything ran as smoothly as it did during our reception! You gave us the party we envisioned, and we didn’t even break the bank– no pun intended!

Great ambiance great food great time! The food is very good and for the price you really can’t do better. I loved eating in the vault. The bar also looked nice will have to come back for sure. Very nice staff. A hidden gem I never knew about!

This place is awesome. I must’ve passed but this place a ton of times before discovering it. It is truly like you are walking into a safe as you can tell by the pictures. Nice selection of beers and I love love the lamb Mediterranean salad. It was absolutely delicious. I have had the Kobe Burger sliders as well and they were pretty good. Nice place to have a beer or quick lunch or nice dinner. It’s right by WTC path.

Seated at a table for two we were fortunate for the light lunch crowd as privacy would have otherwise been compromised. Table seating here can be tight. Lunch was uneventful as the twice ordered lobster bisque was anything but creamy. The Lobster BLT was satisfying but the accompanying salad was boringly drab. Tasteless — one wondered why bother? The Meatball Sub was acceptable — nothing more. Service — while pleasant — was a bit indifferent. Once finished our soup dishes stayed at our table(our server passed numerous times) until our main courses arrived. Inexcusable. Bar area is attractive and can provide a comfortable after work event. The lunch however — a disappointment.

Wasn’t a fan. The food was average and the service wasn’t the best for the prices they charge. My friends and I were expecting to be blown away but left disappointment. Even though the service was disappointing we still tipped 20%.

First things first, this place was a little difficult to find considering it’s location. A sign of some sort, would be quite helpful to guide guests. We were sitting in the park and marched up and down the street. Not realizing, across from the park, below street level, squished in between fast food restaurants with much bigger displays. As for my time there, loved it! Smiles from all the staff, the low light ambiance, to the indie music and very clean cut menu. Everything to eat seemed to be light and low calorie, not heavily seasoned or well done . There was not much to choose from, which made ordering lunch easier . I wanted to order Salmon but it’s not cooked well done. Only burgers . I thought the Lobster burger was yummy . THEDRINKMENUISEXTENSIVE ! So, it’s very clear why it’s the happy hour spot . Definitely, a place to chill in my book.

Super cool restaurant space in an old bank vault. Our large group shared the cheese and charcuterie board. I felt like the proportions were okay — a good amount of everything except the cheese. Just two small pieces. Our server was great — knowledgeable and attentive. She let us know about their sangria special and we all ordered a round of those. I loved the spaghetti carbonara. This would be a great date night place.

Went to this place for happy hour and got a really good champagne sangria, wasn’t very cheap despite it being the happy hour special though. The atmosphere of this place was really cool and I would definitely return to try the food in the restaurant behind the curtain at the back of the bar!

My wife and I were visiting on vacation and stumbled upon this great restaurant. Ambiance is great — it’s a cool speakeasy located in a vault! Behind the bar is a separate seating area — quiet from the bar nightlife. We started off with baby green salad starter and the pastry covered shrimp w/chili dipping sauce. The shrimp was phenomenal — best I have had! For the main course we had the chicken on a brick and the duck confit. The main meat dishes were great and the sides — the risotto was phenomenal and the my wife’s potatoes were perfectly baked. For dessert — we highly recommend the toffee pudding cake with ice cream. It is the perfect way to end a great meal!

Stopped in for a late dinner on a Wednesday night and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining alone. Bartender was very friendly and made recommendations for both food and drinks. I ordered the Chicken Under a Brick and a draft beer. This is an entire young chicken grilled with pan sautéed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was incredibly moist and delicious, but bring your appetite. The potatoes were quite good as well and the beans perfect. I spent a bit more money than I had hoped as most of the drafts are $ 8 – 9 which is probably getting to be standard in the city, but still more than I see elsewhere. The services was attentive and fast, though it wasn’t terribly busy the night that I was there. If the pricing wasn’t so high I’d have given 5 stars, but for the money I think you can find better value. Finally, the location is really great, and the bank vault entrance is pretty dramatic. The place itself is very well done, with dark wood everywhere and low lighting.

Came here for after work drinks the ambience was great pretty cool, this happening little bar on Trinity place used to be an old bank and they still have some old architecture from when it was a bank. as you enter though the vault door there will be a large bar along the right there will be some tables and boots. If you keep going straight you will go through another bank vault door which is where the restaurant part of the bar is located. Ladies if your looking for the bathroom keep on going it’s at the end of the restaurant. Now let’s get started with the food for starters their appetizers are so cute and very flavorful. Their bruschetta had such an amazing flavors and the combination was such a treat«yummy» can’t wait to go back for more. There combination sliders were the perfect size extremely flavorful and I would definitely come back for more. The servers were a tentative so no complaints there. Service was not lacking even though this place was getting busy and a little happening with all the usual types for a bar in financial district, business suits, Wall Street guys the typical FIDI people. More men than women here. Hey, that’s A okay! I will definitely return, happy hour FIDI

Drinking wine in a bank vault? Check! Only on Wall Street could you expect to find such a smart way to capitalize on an existing former bank vault. Why not turn it into a bar /restaurant? Done! I came here for drinks on a weeknight for the first time and it was a fun experience. The place was already packed by 6pm(do these people work?) but my friend and I were able to snag a small table in the bar after a short wait. We didn’t have any food, just their wine by the glass. This place is unique, for sure, and boasts weekday happy hour drink specials. We had really attentive service even with the place really hopping. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and want to try something you probably haven’t had the pleasure of before. Oh… and don’t worry… the vault doors cannot close anymore, so no fear of being stuck inside.

Moscow mule was good. Gin in sin cocktail has lots of mint leaves in it and the menu does not say it comes with mint. The champagne sangria is extremely sweet, too sweet for my taste, and is by no means your typical sangria. The all day everyday $ 7 glass of bubbly I enjoyed; that’s the best drink deal they have going. The food was rather disappointing all around. Empanadas were on the soggy side although the green sauce that comes with them was pretty tasty. Tandoori chicken skewers were perfectly cooked although the sauce on them was rather bland. The meat in the kobe pigs in a blanket was very tough and I couldn’t taste any difference in the meat from a regular hot dog. I did think the pork tacos were delicious. Service was very good. Wish the food was better. I would go back to try different dishes and cocktails.

Bank/Vault turn into a bar! Can’t get any more safer!!! Cute hang out spot in the financial district. Lots of tables to dine or grab drinks at the bar and check the game(s) out on the big screen. Recently, I’ve tried their beer selection and stayed safe with a few orders of blue moon!!!

Great food, great atmosphere, bad service. I asked for a Diet Coke to drink and was brought iced tea instead, and the server seemed very uneducated about the menu. I asked for recommendations and he assured me that«everything was good». Thanks for the help. As for the food, I have no complaints. I had a cheese plate with cheddar, goat cheese, and blue cheese, which were all delicious, followed by a Bibb lettuce salad with bacon and apple slices. For my main I got salmon, which was good, but the broccoli rabe underneath it was bitter. Overall though I’d say this place is worth going to just for it being inside a vault if nothing else. Cool atmosphere for drinks after work or a romantic dinner.
