I’ve been coming here for 5+ years, no complaints in terms of quality and affordability($ 15) — sometimes there is a but of a wait but usually not too bad. It’s run by two Russian brothers who have eclectic taste in TV(cheesy game shows) — they’re good dudes I was put on a video chat with one of their kids once mid-cut. Fear not the quality of the cut did not suffer.

These guys are great. Two brothers. They are very helpful and easy going. I’ve been going here for about a year and it has always been a solid cut. They’re both very helpful and aim to please. Being able to catch up on the news during a hair cut is great too. The lines are typically pretty short, and for $ 15 you couldn’t find a better spot

My cousin gets his haircut here and he looks oh so sexy. Brothers are super friendly efficient and experienced. What’s not to like? Prices are very reasonable. Only $ 14 for a chop

Very disappointed in the haircut I got from this barbershop. I asked for a simple fade on the sides, and to my surprise, my hair came out looking like a Mohawk. The barber obviously didn’t listen to what i wanted nor did he observe how I had my sides cut from my last haircut. After 2 weeks and 2 new caps later, I had another barber fix the damage that was done.

I was so upset with my haircut here I had to wear a hat for three days. The barber had no idea how to make hair neat, nor do I think he understood the words«neat» or «clean.» I had to get a haircut to fix this two weeks later(today) and my new barber said to me «oh my goodness this is so uneven. Was this a barbershop?» I am never coming back here

Perfect. All I wanted was confident hair cutting with perfect precision without the meaningless pampering at a fair price. This is exactly what a barber should be… if you’re after fancy décor and trainees with shaky hands, go and pay triple.

I’ve found my new Bukharian barbers, and in the most unlikely of places – squeezed between a punky vintage store and a girl-magnet baguette place! The owners are very nice guys(brothers it would seem). On a Friday evening, I waited about 10 minutes. Efficiency is the name of the game here, but they won’t rush you. They look at the big picture and won’t hassle you with too many details, so if you’re really finicky about your hair, let them know what you want in advance. They have little flat-screens to keep you entertained while they do their magic. The result was very satisfying. And did I mention, a $ 14 haircut is an easy pill to swallow in my neighborhood?

Owned by two brothers, these guys are freaking awesome. I’ve always gotten a cut from Alex, and was never disappointed. They’re friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and all around good guys. Come here for a solid haircut and you won’t be let down. And if you’re in the mood, don’t miss out on the risqué mag collection. Top notch… and not too sticky.

Great job for a good price. I paid $ 24 for haircut and beard trim($ 28 w/tip). He was professional, fast, and asked a few times how I liked it while retaining control over the style. They also have a small plasma TV for you to watch while the master is at work. He finished with me in about 15 minutes, after a 5 minute wait(Friday afternoon visit). What could they do to be 5 stars? I would get rid of the 90’s haircut-selection posters on the walls and streamline the inside a little. FYI, cash only. There’s an ATM in the deli across the street.

One-man barbershop. He does an excellent job and is a nice guy. $ 14 for a men’s haircut, and you can watch TV while you get your haircut.

Disclaimer: I have pretty much the most basic haircut one can get. Went in today. No wait at all. Very good haircut, extremely fast, and the price was excellent($ 14 + tip). Will definitely go back.

Great haircut. Even with my crazy cowlicky hair. I was in NY and needed an emergency haircut for a wedding. They took their time and got it closer to perfect than any 1st haircut I had gotten before.

When was the last time –you– watched TV while getting your hair did? I think, for me, it might have been back when I was in elementary school, and it was always an exciting thing to go to the barber in the sleepy little town of Hudson, OH. Well, stepping into Traffic was kind of like being whisked back to my younger years, oh-so-long ago. Y’know, with grizzled Italian barbers who speak to each other in their mother tongue. And Alex Trebek, presenting answer after answer to the audience. And me, groaning internally at every Greek/Roman mythology question the contestants get wrong. Only, I distinctly remember that my childhood barber was actually a barbarette. For whatever reason, I’ve always seemed to consistently have female haircutters. Hmmm… Traffic might be no-frills, kind of sma– er… cozy. And it might be a little uncomfortably humid when it’s pouring rain outside. Regardless, these folks know their craft. You won’t have to go home and do the fix-it-yourself-with-a-beard-trimmer trick like after a visit to some other stops(I won’t name names, Astor) in the nabe. And, it’s cheap. Like, half of what I used to pay at the salon that I miss –so– much back in NoVA. I dare you find a less expensive cut. Try me. Hats off to you, Traffic. Mostly, because I’m not horrified about showing off the new ‘do.

Nice place, haircut is $ 14. Friendly, to the point, but they don’t rush you. My barber might have cut off a bit more than I wanted, but the haircut was fine.

An excellent barber shop, quick and to the point without pretension. This is the way a barber shop should be. The line can sometimes be daunting thats why I try to go during off-peak hours. A hair cut is $ 11.00 and for that price I am sold. They also will do the old-school straight razor and hot lather around your ears/neck as well. Do not go here if your expectation is that you will receive a scalp massage or if it takes you an hour and a half to get your hair«ready» in the morning — this is a mans place. The only thing they are missing is the complimentary beer to top it off. They have a nice magazine selection while you wait, everything from Car and Driver, Maxim, Playboy to Skiing Magazine.
