I hope Marv & Harry have an extra spot in the Sticky Bandits for me. The first place we would loot would be Sticky’s Finger Joint. They have too many sauces for a normal person to sample in one or two visits. Be sure you are Home Alone when you eat your meal or risk missing some tenders. The chicken fingers are Kawhi-Leonard-sized gigantic with a light batter. The fries are herb dusted, lovely, and crispy. Try the special white Sticky’s sauce(heh). There always seems to be at least a 15 minute wait regardless of the number of patrons.

Came here on a weekend food adventure with a friend. It’s a bit pricey(which I already knew going in), so we decided to order a few different things and share: the Buffalo Blue, Salted Caramel Pretzel, Honey BBQ Club, and an order of fries. Everything was really tasty(even the Caramel Pretzel, which I was a bit apprehensive about), and the Honey BBQ Club was my favorite. Sticky’s isn’t the kind of place I’d visit even multiple times a month, though, not just because of the steep pricing for what it is(it was good but I’m sorry, it’s chicken fingers and not an ample amount of them either — everything I mentioned above plus 2 bottles of water came out to $ 22) but also because it’s not the healthiest food choice either. It’s definitely a rare treat kind of place(at least for me and my wallet, that is).

Came here the first time and ordered«Vampire killer» with truffle fries and Sriracha ranch. I feel the vampire Killer had a very strong garlic taste to it. Will definitely come and try other flavors.

Small store front but decent spacing on the interior. Love that the walls have decorations and art. It was my first time trying their finger baskets. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the Thai fiesta finger basket & the regular finger basket. The food came fresh & hot. It smelled super aromatic. I couldn’t wait to dig in. The chicken was so juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I was so delighted to eat it. Both came with fries underneath the 3 chicken pieces. Thai fiesta finger basket — came with a sweet chili sauce & ketchup on the side. Each chicken piece was topped with Mac sauce. It was so delicious. Regular finger basket — came with a cray sauce & ketchup on the side. It had great flavor just by itself. The cray sauce really enhanced the flavors. Every bite was so good. The finger baskets are very filling and the size of the chicken are big too! Tip: Look their paper menu for more options and info on the food !

The chicken is juicy and tender, with a great crunch to the outside. For me not a ton of flavor in the meat and skin, which is fine cause it’s meant to be had with sauce(s). Speaking of, they have plenty of good options. I’ve had the vampire aoli, the house sauce, and the sassy bbq, all of which are delicious. Maybe they make everything fresh to order, maybe they had a bunch of take out orders to prepare, but I waited for longer than I thought I’d have to to get the food, considering it was only me and one other person in there. And the chicken fingers are really really hot when they first come out so I’d seriously consider giving them a few minutes to cool off. Prices are fair, but def city prices. Very friendly service. Good take out spot. This place is tough to sum up. If you’re having a craving for fried chicken, it’s gonna hit the spot and you’ll love it. If not, it’s definitely good, but it won’t blow you away. 3.5 stars

5 starts for the wings and honey mustard sauce. Been there twice They are over priced The chicken is juicy and scorching hot… you have been warned. It is a small joint, so just get it to go and eat at Washington Square Park… You’ll probably get a show of of it from all the characters of there. There is a bike rack across the street.

Ordered the finger basket which comes with 3 huge chicken tenders, fries and 1 sauce along with another side of Cajun fries. The chicken was crispy and juicy which is always great. My favorite was the Cajun fries; it was packing with flavor. A little bit too salty for my liking but overall pretty good. Customer service here is great and the gentlemen at the counter was super nice. Would definitely come back here.

Updating my review as the great customer service after-the-fact shows it’s an establishment worth returning to. Delicious chicken fingers too, of course :) ! Put in our order at 9:14 and are still waiting at 9:41 for 3 grilled fingers and 3 breaded fingers to come out… Sorry but when the only thing on your menu is chicken fingers… How does this even happen?

Sticky’s caramel pretzel chicken fingers are a revelation. First, they capture the salty sweet essence of chicken and waffles without the need for heavy waffles. Second, they somehow get the white meat in the chicken to taste super tender and juicy. Obviously they brine it or buy it from a magical land where chicken breast is just as moist as thigh meat. Third, the fried coating is crispy and full of texture without being too thick or overbearing. Reminds me a bit of cornflake crusted«oven-fried» chicken. While the caramel pretzel fingers are probably their most ingenious menu offering, the garlic mayo laden Vampire Killer is just as satisfying. Personally I can’t get enough garlic in life(except for garlic ice cream – I draw the line at garlic ice cream), so the Vampire Killer speaks to my longing for more garlic. The toasted garlic slivers on top of the garlic mayo add a nice contrasting crunch and savory umami bump. Also, they have great options for kids. My kids love the chicken poppers and the fries underneath. When we visited for the first time, person at the register was very friendly and patient with explaining the menu for us chicken finger noobs. I can’t say enough good things about Sticky’s. Definitely worth a visit!

i’m knocking one star from this place because my stomach was not feeling too hot after eating here, but overall there’s a good thing going on! my boyfriend and i tried both the poppers and fingers and i found them both to be not overly breaded, but perfectly crispy and meaty! we got the vampire killer fingers pretty good. but the crisp garlic pieces were getting caught in my teeth. for sauces we got the sticky’s original and buffalo balsamic maple. i think the buffalo was my favorite to dunk the poppers in. the regular size poppers order with fries was a nice serving of chicken, just wanted more CAJUN fries! if i come back i want to try the bada bing(i love chicken parm) and get some of the specialty fries. they all sounded so tasty.

Even before ordering, I knew Sticky’s was legit. The cashier was eager to provide tips on what to order and actually seemed happy to do so. On two occasions, he chimed in to help customers, myself included, save a few bucks. I ordered the General Tso’s and Bacon Mac Fries and was pleasantly surprised by the size. I was worried it would be tilting towards the smaller side. Everything was delicious; the Tso’s was saucy but it didn’t drown out the chicken at all and the Fries were gifted with copious amounts of Bacon Mac goodness. It is a heart attack waiting to happen but in a good way, if that’s possible.

My favorite guilty heart attack inducing pleasure. Located just a block away from Washington Square Park, its a place that ONLY serves up the most unhealthy but delicious finger food ever. They only serve fried chicken fingers and French fries, but MAN they have perfected the art of fried food! The whole menu is just a different combination of chicken fingers and fries with an assortment of different spices and sauces. Me personally I’m not too much of a fan of the crazier flavors, so I went with what I like the most which was the buttermilk ranch sauce. I ordered 3 fingers and also a side of Cajun fries. The fingers were among the crispiest pieces of boneless fried chicken I’ve had! You just have to try it! The Cajun fries were also good, nicely fried on the outside with a nice blend of seasoning. There’s nothing more I need to say, go out and indulge at Sticky Fingers for yourself!

I really like the concept of Sticky’s. Fried chicken fingers are a pretty good canvas for a number of different flavors, and the flavors they have are pretty inventive and unique. The chicken is pretty meaty and the service has always been pretty nice and quick. That being said, the couple times I’ve had their chicken, the execution is wildly inconsistent. My most recent visit, the chicken was fine, but the fries were very oily and soggy. The last visit I had, was basically vice versa, where the chicken was soggy from being oversauced, but the truffle parm fries were really good. I usually go for the salted caramel, vampire killer, or my personal favorite, the buffalo blue. The value is only okay here. For a place that’s simply a counter and a few seats strewn across a small café-type space, you’d assume that there’s not really much overhead to pay for, but the price for a 3-finger signature meal will run you about $ 13, and with a drink, is about $ 16. For only 3 chicken fingers and a small amount of fries, it ain’t great, so I do recommend this more as a snack than an entire meal. I’ll be back if I’m really jonesin’ for chicken fingers, but at that point, I may just go for those panko-crusted Tyson chicken fingers at Costco, and make my own hot sauces. Sounds like a dumb thing to say, but given that I have yet to have a consistently good meal here, I’d rather leave it to myself to create the same thing.

I had a lot higher expectations from this place. Don’t get me the wrong, the quality of chicken strip was really really good(good crunch, hearty piece of meat, juicy, etc.) but the flavors lack tremendously! Salt is always the secret ingredient a lot of food places lack — and this is one of them. The vampire aioli was bland, but neat concept. Everything on their money looked good. We ordered three different baskets and were only happy with one of them. You can tell the owners enjoy what they have — so that part is neat and shows with their business. Seating is limited inside and we walked past the store twice looking for it and couldn’t even find it until we asked a neighboring store worker. So keep your eyes open! This place has great potential — just needs to add more flavor to their breading on the chicken and some of their not as sweet sauces!

I remember coming here one or two years ago right when the place was just getting off its feet, and they were still adding things to the menu. I thought it was just okay back then, but I’m happy to say they’ve gotten much better. I like to get the Vampire Killer with a side of fries, which is more than enough to fill me up. The chicken comes out hot and moist, and the fries are thin and crunchy like I like them. The fries are pricier than what I prefer them to be, but I love coming here for my fried chicken place when I’m at school since it’s so close to NYU.

I’d start off by saying food to price ratio is ridiculous, however we are in the city so that is excluded from this review! They have a 1 hour parking meter infront which is 3.50 $ per hour. Store is relatively small, with maybe enough to sit 1 – 2 parties(small sized). I thought this place was a hipster, munchies quenching food joint and it was exactly that! They have your fries variety to burgers to chicken tenders! I had tried their truffle parm fries as well as their chicken tenders with Chipotle Honey sauce. First off, 3 chicken tenders is 7 $. Jeez, I know I didnt want to mention price but OHHOTDAM: o They were better than your McDonalds nuggets(and of course bigger) however, nothing to make a trip for. Not sure if I got hustled with the truffle fries or not, but it was literally an employee grabbing fries from a basket into a plate and then sprinkling the 99cents deli parmesan cheese powder onto it(which was first poured into a huge display bucket) Possibly the worst truffle fries I have ever tried. I saw others order as if they are regulars so it might have just been a bad night for me, as well as the wrong orders. Hopefully, my review can better acknowledge their foods with my second attempt here!

Chicken fingers/tenders that are juicy/moist and crisp on the outside, fried to perfection. But the sauces take it to the next level. delicious! I give this place a 4.5 Sauces: –salted caramel: i was a little doubtful when i first ordered it but eating it… wow. loved the salt and sweet combo. the caramel wasn’t too strong/overpowering and felt similar to honey mustard which is always great for chicken fingers –general tso’s: this is similar to the chinese food one but with more heat. Loved the spices and flavors –bada bing: chicken parm. the cheese is stuffed in the chicken and the tomatoey creamy sauce on top are great! french fries were delicious too. diipping them in the general tso’s sauce … amazing. i just take off .5 stars because it was pretty expensive. it was about 10 dollars for one piece of salted caramel and one piece of bada bing which is pretty high. but aside from that loved this place

Deep fried chicken fingers smothered in all kinds of delicious? That sounds PERFECT to me, so I had to check this place out. It’s not very big, so it would probably be best to come here for a quick bite or take out. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be any AC(it was a pretty humid day, so this was a bummer). However, the people working here are very chill and kindly explained the menu to me. I ended up getting the vampire killer, the general sticky tso, and truffle fries. Everything cost around 13 – 14 bucks. Considering the portion sizes, I think the pricing here is very reasonable. My orders came out PIPING hot, so I had to wait a bit before I could actually start eating. Their truffle fries were really good and I think everyone should give them a try! The texture of the chicken was perfect — crunchy outside and tender, juicy inside. The vampire killer was delicious but I feel like it could have used more garlic(then again, there is never enough garlic for me.) and the general sticky tso was a tad too sweet(maybe could have had more chili?). However, I still really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back to try their other flavors!

DISCLAIMER: This review is only for their food, which I had at an event that they catered last Friday. But I had copious amounts of their food… so much that it is deserving of an actual review. I’ve never actually been here so I can’t talk about ambience, service, prices or any other important things other than their food. Mmmmm… their food. Kay, so I’ve been wanting to go to Sticky’s Finger Joint now for quite sometime — despite my wondering why anyone would want to market their food as being«sticky». I know they specialize in chicken and in my world, chicken shouldn’t be sticky. Sticky’s Finger Joint describes themselves as being«New Yorks City’s finest gourmet Chicken Finger restaurant». Their«about» page on their website also states, «our chicken is fresh, never frozen. Antibiotic free, hormone free and deliciously different. If you can’t pronounce it, we don’t use it». Cool, cool — all of this sounds great, but why are you sticky, bro? After last Friday, now I get it :). So I was lucky enough to try 5 different flavors of their chicken and some of their dipping sauces. Mmmmmm, dipping sauces {333. Their Salted Caramel chicken fingers are Buttermilk Brined, Coated in Crunchy Crushed Pretzel, Smothered in Salted Caramel, Garnished with Pretzel Sticks & Pretzel Glitter. Okay, so caramel is sticky and I generally(ie. never) would never think to coat my chicken in salted caramel and pretzels… plus what the hell is «pretzel glitter»?! I’ve decided that these must be whipped up by chicken faeries because they’re deliciously sticky, magical and so, so, SO good! Their Buffalo Balsamic Maple chicken fingers are coated in their special Buffalo Sauce that has been cut with Aged Balsamic Vinegar and Maple Syrup. AGEDBALSAMICVINEGAR… MAPLESYRUP… SOFREAKIN’ GOOD. Spicier than I prefer to handle, but I’ll handle it, because it was delicious and I wish I had some RIGHT. NOW. Their Lemon Lime Candiedrind Fingers are also really delicious with brighter, summery flavors. These fingers were grilled and marinated overnight in lemon lime juice and honey for tenderness and flavor. It came served on an artisanal salad bed and was garnished with their candied lemon lime zest glitter… not sure how one garnishes food with glitter, but I’m insanely eager to learn: D. My absolute favorite was easily their«Vampire Killer»…for starters, I’m a HUGE horror movie fan and a chicken flavor with the word«vampire» in it is totally up my alley. They describe this as being«enough Garlic to Ward Off All Bloodsuckers.» and they’re NOT kidding! This chicken is drowned in a Garlic Infused marinade and served on a Bed of Roasted Garlic Chips, Topped with Garlic Aioli, Pink Peppercorn and Cloves of Black Garlic. SOMUCHGARLIC. I love garlic. Bring it on, I’ve got sour patch gum to help me out afterwards O:). Last(but certainly not least) is their Classic New York Style Chicken Finger. These are plain(for Sticky’s because they’re still delish, just not coated in some deliciously flavored sticky sauce) but deep fried in a perfectly crunchy batter. Mmmm… batter {3. All their fantastic chicken aside, their Handcut Idaho Truffle Potato Fries are also fantastic. Super truffle-y without being overpowering, not too salty or greasy and tossed in fresh herbs. These fries were money. MONEY. In all, I feel like if their catered food was this good, I can only imagine what fresh out of their ovens must taste like, I need to check out one of their locations STAT!
