Tomoka

Where is this place? Tried to find it based on this address. Could not. I know it’s speakeasy-​ish, but this address is for an apt. Building, definitely not a bar. 4 stars for being so ninja-​like.

Fun chill place to hang out. Good drinks, can get a table easily, and good music with which to enjoy your drink.

Went back well over 2 months from my initial visit. Was hoping to hit a night when the jazz singer was there, but missed out again. Justin remembered us and even pointed out where we sat last time. Once again he crafted terrific customized drinks for my entire party. Why stick with the menu (which is also great) when he can lend his personal expertise? Justin makes the drinks with great care and personally serves them to the tables/​couches around the bar area. He follows up by asking if we were satisfied with his recommendations. Kevin also visited us and thanked us for returning. Two really pleasant, friendly guys that truly care that you are having a good time. Will return again hoping for that jazz singer. I fully expect this review to get to 5 stars by then. If there was a choice, this review would be upped to 4.5 stars.

I had my birthday party at Tomoka and I can’t say enough about how great this place is. First off, we had a large group of about 20 and they were so accommodating to a group of our size. They gave us our own private area, and moved tables and chairs to make sure that we were all comfortable. The staff was incredibly courteous. Now on to the most important part, the drinks… Tomoka made fantastic cocktails that rival New York’s best «speakeasy» style lounge. And they kept em coming! I highly recommend Tomoka!

Drinks here are great! They can concoct any variation of drink, as long as they have fresh ingredients for that (eg, they only serve cucumber drinks in the spring/​summer). Comfortable roomy couches and jazz music make this a good spot for a date or a group of friends.
