Great slice, great price and friendly service. Nothing beats their dollar slices, always quick and always hits the spot.

Percy’s is legitimately good pizza. Scared to say it, but I think it’s better than Joe’s on Carmine. And the cherry on top… It’s cheap. But I must admit, I’m from the west coast(southern California to be exact). I may not be a fair judge of «east coast pizza» since we don’t typically eat SUPER thin crusted pizza. Joe’s pizza was way too thin to me. It was good but nothing to rave about. Geimaldi’s takes the trophy… but then again, Grimaldi’s isn’t here in awesome Grenwich village. So when in Rome… Eat at Percy’s

Not one yes the price awesome, it is really good pizza. It’s been great because instead of skipping a lunch when I forget to bring it, I am able to grab something affordable. Thank you!

A respectable New York slice for $.99 ain’t a bad deal on Bleeker Street. You know what I mean? It’s a small, but cozy place. Get your slice, get outa the way. Because there’s limited seating if you can call it that. No frills, but does the trick. Popular late night stop with the bar hoppers and afternoon commuters and even the cops like a slice here. I gotta say for the price you can’t go wrong, but don’t get fancy with the soda or toppings because then it’s a different transaction entirely. I love it, stop in for a quick slice of life and still have enough change for the subway ride!

Home run. Best pizza in NYC at any price…

Floppy, soft, uncrispy pizza. Heard great reviews about this place, some may even consider is one the best dollar slice in the city. Definitely not. Pizza was weak, didn’t have the NYC crispy«crunchy» thin crust. Sauce was also lacking in flavor.

Great $ 1 pizza place. Stopped here for a quick bite and I was pleasantly surprised. Service was good and fast. Pizza was hot and tasty. I would definitely return for more when I’m in the area

Favorite pizza place in Manhattan. After a few days away from the city, there is nothing I crave more than a Percy’s slice. As a man who has had far too much dollar slices, I can confidently assure you that this is one of the best dollar slices in the city. The guys who work there crank out pizzas and are friendly when there isn’t a rush. There’s nothing bad about this place. You can get a pie for $ 8! Enough Said!

This place is really good. I am not a fan of thin crust pizza but if you are, you would like this of this place. It’s always pretty packed so I finally got a chance to go. It’s rated one of the best $ 1 slices in NYC. The owner is super nice and very friendly and he heated up my pizza unlike Joe’s pizza not far away where I had a horrible experience with. Joe’s pizza sucks, come to Percy’s My pizza slice was very thinly covered with pizza and tomato sauce. It wasn’t anything special for me like I was hoping for but still good. I think the inside is pretty nice compared to other super sketch pizza places I have been to. There are 3 tables for 2 people to sit at & they’re almost always occupied.

They’ve been making their slices smaller and smaller and the new hires are extremely rude. Used to be the go-to pizza place on the block, now it’s not worth the dollar.

After traveling around Italy, coming back to Percy’s is much more welcome than would be normally expected. It easily beats a pizza from Rome, and while different from the gold standard of Napoli, it offers its unique taste which makes it a quintessential NYC pizza and at $ 1 for a cheese slice, is a place that can be easily returned to. Much recommended.

A-OK. Out of the dollar pizza places, Percy’s is probably one of the tastier ones. Their pizza is super thin though, so you end up having to eat 1 – 2 more slices. There’s also very little seating so don’t plan on sticking around. They’re super quick about reheating your pizza — although I guess since the pizza is so thin anyways, it’s easy to reheat.

I do not get the hype about this being one of the best dollar slices in the city. Yes, it was quick… as in, the slice on the counter was burn-your-tongue-for-weeks hot as soon as we walked in and served up by some nasty staffer, but the slice was just mediocre, even for the price.

$ 1 pizza in NYC are for those people who are too lazy to microwave their own frozen supermarket pizza. If you notice, they all pretty much taste and smell the same– all days, everyday, when ever you pass by them. I definitely can’t say that here! Just walking in; the scent of fresh baking pizza fills the rustic décor of this tiny pizza establishment. And MOST importantly, the pizza here is like eating a fresh out of the oven Lombardi’s pie! This is New York style pizza at its finest! Lovely fresh tangy tomato sauce, perfect crispy thin crust, and gooie tasty cheese! There is seriously something different about this $ 1 slice that made me do a triple take in one seating! I recommend just a plain slice and avoid the toppings– their greatness resides with the basics– crust, sauce, cheese! The owner reminds me of the soup Natzi: but he’s truly sweet at heart. He knows lots of the regulars by name and had a strong following. All I got to say, I am so glad I live far from Percy’s Pizza, otherwise I would be eating here every day! Now stop reading and just grab another slice! You will thank me later!!!

One of the most solid dollar slice options in the neighborhood. And it’s even worth a second dollar to get them to throw some meatball on top :). Heck, for 8 bucks they’ll even sell you a whole pizza! They blow through pies pretty fast, at least the cheese ones. Which means you have to wait more often than your average dollar place, but also means you’re far more likely to get a piping hot slice!

Cheap $ 1 slices– if you’re hungry and on a tight budget, then this is your place. A pie(8 slices) will run you at $ 10. Holding up 10 fingers and counting. Hmm. I bought a few slices here and as the old saying goes, «you get what you pay for.» The pizza was lacking in sodium and the whole flavor profile was flat. I didn’t taste much of anything really– neither tomato sauce nor cheese. The best part was the thin crust: no dough overflow here. Like I said, a good and fast place for a cheap bite, but if you have a few more dollars to splurge, you could do better.

Great cheese pizza for $ 1 and canned sodas for $ 1.25. You can get pizzas with toppings for $ 2/slice(pepperoni, sausage, etc) Cheese pie is $ 8 for a full pie. Decent area to sit down also.

Battling this snow storm I stopped by for warmth in this pizza shop. I couldn’t help myself but buy that green pepper pizza… it was whispering to my belly. Pizza slices are cheap and good here, 1 topping equates to $ 2. After finalizing my slice I had to get another, so I got one with olives. Great pizza place if your looking for great tasting slices at a cheap price

For a $ 1 pizza joint, this place is incredible. This is the complete opposite of the many sit-down, fancy, pizza by the pie places, where a hipster with a beard may or may not be cooking your pizza in a large exposed oven. There are maybe one or two seats, so you literally can’t sit. It is by no means fancy, and you can get a good old single slice of NY pizza from an old, gruff Italian guy that’s sick of it. I would stick with a regular cheese slice and forego any toppings, just because it feels like it defeats the purpose of coming to a $ 1 slice place and paying $ 2 just to add some pepperoni to your slice. Might as well just get 2 slices instead. For any self-respecting broke college kids, or other broke people in the area for that matter, this is the place to go. It’s also a dream come true for anybody else that’s grown weary of the $ 20 margherita pies and just misses a good old fashioned, simple, delicious slice of NY pizza.
