Once in a while I felt like some sandwich and toasties would always be my top choice. Got the E-Z hot sandwich this time, with grilled turkey, bacon and mushroom. Skipped the jack cheese but I probably should just put it back… Line was short at this location, compared with the one I usually went to on Lex.

This is the best deli, hands down! I love coming into Toasties in the morning! The staff is like a well oiled machine; the sandwiches are amazing!

Their food is very good and very fresh. Taking off stars for horrible customer service. Although many of my co-workers love that place, I am always waiting forever for my food. People who get there after me tend to walk away with their food while I am still waiting for a tuna melt. I had to walk out a few times after waiting 15 + minutes.

This place is one of my favorites for a quick lunch and efficient service. I usually place my order through seamless and within 10 – 20 mins its ready to be picked up. Everything that I have gotten from this place has tasted great. I love their hot platters with two sides. The rosemary chicken is delicious and the mashed potatoes and gravy are so good. The salmon portion is a little small but still delicious. You do have to be careful when ordering because they have certain dishes on different days. I usually just call beforehand to make sure they have whatever I want. The lines are always long but seamless makes it easy. TRYIT! You wont regret it.

I love Toasties. This location annoys me though, and it’s costing them a star. Always missing an ingredient. This time no blue cheese on my Cobb. Oh well. The other locations get it right and have tons of seating.

I’ve only had their Americano, muffin and chicken noodle soup here. Been here 2 or 3 times. During weekday mornings and lunch hours, they are pretty busy. But they’re really quick so it’s nice for those grab-n-go type of days. They also have some seating in the back. Their coffee is good. My Americano is on the light/smooth side but it’s not bad. A lady in front of me once have said they like their coffee a lot, more than Starbucks. The muffins aren’t anything special but they have a good variety. They’re pretty dense and sweet. It usually holds me over until mid-afternoon if I eat it all in the morning. I’ve had their chicken noodle soup twice. Both times it was bland :/So I’ll have to try another one to see if all their soups are bland or not. My coworker gets their freshly made salads. I’ve had a bite once it was super yummy. You may want to ask them to keep the dressing light because one time they drenched her salad :(not fun. Staff has been super friendly every time I’ve went so that’s always a plus!

I visited this restaurant based on a colleague’s recommendation. I almost did not enter the restaurant at the sight of the«B» restaurant inspection rating. Seeing the number of customers inside, I figured I’d take a chance. I wasn’t disappointed. The service was fast, food was good, and there was sufficient seating. I deducted one star for the«B» rating.

I’ve always gone here for heir W4s and the guys are always quick and it turns out great but this time, after not coming for a long time, the positioning has changed and is hazardous. First the entrance of the door was only open on the left and I wanted to buy a drink in the fridge in the direct left, so without thinking I want to swing the fridge open but didn’t realize that there was a ledge like a half an inch away — barely any room for your fingers! And I smashed my ring finger because the ledge smashed into my weddings rings and made a cut and bruised my finger! Now it’s all swollen and all they did was look at me apologetically and moved the fridge by like an inch. Should this be a basis for suing?

The staff who make the sandwiches here work like well-oiled machine. They are multitasking and it looks so crazy yet they’ve never messed up an order of mine. I usually get the Chipotle Philly when I’m craving a hot, juicy, messy sandwich, it really delivers. Sometimes I get the lunch plate with entrée and two sides. The salmon and rosemary chicken are delicious, as are the mashed potatoes and veggies. The button mushrooms are very peppery and oily, I didn’t like them at first but I am now a fan. I haven’t tried the soups or salads. I have to agree with other reviewers that the cashiers need to work on their demeanor. One of them is usually nice with a smile and is patient, but the others bark around and rush you. I know the place gets insanely busy at lunch but if they want to stay that way it is not that difficult to be polite. Anyway, the sandwiches are so good I’ll only take off one star for the grumpy cashiers. It can be pricey but the portions are generous and very filling.

I work right next to Toasties, and because of its proximity to me I’ve gone to it a lot over the years. They have decent sandwiches, salads and soups, and get it done quick. That said, a few times over the past 2 months I’ve gotten sick immediately after eating there. I thought it was random at first, but it’s happened a couple times now. I don’t know what’s up with them but I’m done with the place.

Best chopped salad in mid-town that I’ve tried. I don’t try chopped salads everywhere, just around where I work, so I can only compare against other local salad spots, but this is vastly superior to the other chopped salad options. The short list: superior quality, fresher ingredients, and the chopping efforts of the guys working behind the counter are unrivaled. To elaborate by comparison, I got various chopped salads at some other nearby places including Fresh&Co, Chop’t, GiGi Café, and Pax — none of them had the freshness of ingredients, the chopped tomatoes were so pale at most of them I didn’t even want them on my salad, the cauliflower had that brown rust/mold, some ingredients looked wilted. At Fresh&Co I actually had to give them back my bowl and request to re-chop because the lettuce pieces were like 3+ inches even though I had paid for chopping. At another place they use a mechanical chopper; they just dump the bowl of ingredients into a chute and in 3 seconds it comes out into the bowl at the bottom, however, you get a few pieces of other people’s random ingredients that had been fed through before(kind of gross!) and it’s chopped SO fine it’s actually gotten a little liquidy(gross again!). Toasties ingredients are always fresher and better than any of those others, and the guys do manual chopping and put their muscle into it and don’t stop until everything is chopped well — I really can’t say the same for ANY of the other places I’ve tried. And finally, they put up with my request to add the shredded red cabbage from the sandwich bar — calling across the room for them to send some over to add to my salad(I love red cabbage but most salad bars don’t have it at the chopping station).

FAVEBREAKFASTSPOT! Macho Wrap — whole wheat tortilla, egg whites, avo, turkey and swiss. Absolute best way to start your day! I’m literally stuffed until 3pm whenever I decide to treat myself to one of these bad boys.

I went into Toasties today to purchase an iced coffee and realized too late that the cashier kept $ 10 of the change I was to receive from a $ 20. It was all the cash I had, so very obvious once I opened my wallet back at the office. She was oddly cold during the transaction as well, like I was putting her out by patronizing the store, so this was just the cherry on top of a horrible customer service transaction.(This seemingly small transgression may not be a big deal to some of the financial bigwigs in the area, but it was to me. And it was to my colleagues.)

Not the best for salads. Charge extra for arugula and chopping your salad. Only get four ingredients. Ingredients fresh and they have good salad dressing.

I used to come here almost daily. Everything is good. The breakfast egg wraps, the salads, the soups(pumpkin is to die for) and the fresh mango. HOWEVER, I need to now deduct 2 stars because they actually charge you a FEETOCHOPYOURSALAD. every other salad place in the neighborhood chops free of charge. But not here. Please fix this policy ASAP. It’s tacky.

If you are in the mood for a morning sandwich, toasties is the place to go. I usually order an everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese and it’s always delicious. They serve the food quickly so its a good place to visit if you’re in a hurry.

I love Toasties! Super quick service. You can get sandwiches(my lunch of choice), salads, or even order from their hot food bar. The sandwiches are all priced around $ 8, and are a good size. I particularly like the hot ones — try the E-Z or the Sergeant Pepper. So much meat! I’ve only ordered from the hot food bar once, but it’s like, ¼ pound of meat and two sides for like $ 8.50. One of my go-to lunch spots and I will keep coming back!

I keep getting burned by Toasties. I should really learn. I’ve only ever gone here for a bagel, so I can’t speak to lunch, but here’s my beef with it: I go there when I crave a few salty carbs and it somehow always disappoints. They serve H&H bagels, which were delicious when I’d pick them up from the H&H bakery that formerly existed on the Westside. These are not as high quality. They’re small and taste a bit like prepackaged grocery store bagels. I’ve tried the everything, which I think they should rename the almost nothing — very little flavor there. I’ve also tried the sesame seed. They don’t have a great assortment of cream cheeses, so I opt for butter. Somehow, I end up with a half buttered bagel each time. I guess I need to find a new stop when I crave a bagel near my office…
