Props to the team working Super Bowl Sunday — stayed calm and polite as things heated up. These are great albeit rather simple sandwiches. A bit pricey but they have good coupons. Club Supreme is my go-to.

I’m from NJ, when I passed by this location I figured I like the Jersey Mike’s at home, might as well get it for lunch while at work. This place was dreadful. The staff doesn’t seem to care about anything and my sandwich was really, really bad. I ordered a chicken cheese steak. Bread was fresh, but there was a real lack of chicken cheese steak between the bread! Seriously, it was like eating a roll with a hint of chicken and maybe a 2 – 3 peppers on the whole thing. The chicken that I did have didn’t taste too great either. I’d give it one star, but since I don’t(and won’t again) go there consistently I will give it two.

Always love my Jersey Mikes! I don’t have anything negative to comment about it for now.

I have never in my life consistently experienced worse service than this particular store. Their employees are truly AWFUL. Totally inattentive, stank attitude, immature, dismissive and generally just terrible. If you can get past that though, the sandwiches are quite tasty, but they are also incredibly skimpy on the meat, so it kinda kills it. In the end, don’t expect any smiles, friendliness, respect, decency or anything else other than awful attitudes, horrible service and thin portions of sandwich meat.

Definitely good subs! It takes a little longer than most other midtown places, but it is worth it. Delicious! I will be back. The staff was super friendly as well.

Let me start off by saying. I have NOTHING against jersey mikes brand. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. However I do have an issue with this location. The employees are polite although not very attentive. They messed up my order twice after I explicitly told them what not to put in the sandwich. It’s a good thing I always look before I bite! I left it alone and walked out after the second try. If someone says, «I only want the meat and bread, no cheese and none of the stuff it comes with»…what would possess you to put everything on it? And then, what would possess you to do it AGAIN after it was explained even deeper, «I only want the meat and the bread. No cheese, no sauce, nothing else but meat and bread.» Once I got the second sandwich I opened it and saw stuff mixed in(not sure what it was honestly) but I tried to suck it up and just eat it but I hated whatever was mixed in. I was really disappointed because I do really like jersey mikes. I hope the employees become more attentive to what their customers ask for. I can only give this location three stars because of the lack of attentiveness

Jersey Mikes is the best! The staff are always friendly and efficient. They make great sandwiches, that’s saying a lot of a chain, especially in NYC. I have no idea why anyone would ever chose Subway over this!!! My favorite Philly. Yum!

This Jersey Mike’s, is THE Jersey Mike’s. The best sandwiches in the industry with the freshest bread for your return on investment. Show me a better sandwich, you can’t. Did Jersey Mike’s do it again or did Jersey Mike’s do it again? They’re on seamless and I order it straight to my office and it arrives fresh and easy, kind of like my 2nd ex-wife. Would recommend it to everyone I know, viva Jersey Mike’s!

This place is not good, for a sub place they use some crappy cold cuts. It tastes like very cheap ingredients. If you want real cold cuts and a damn good sandwich try Milano gourmet deli. Potbelly is better than this place.

The Original Italian wrap that I ordered was tasty but it would’ve been better if it wasn’t half soup. By the time the delivery had gotten to me, all the insides had turned into mush. My wrap was literally falling apart and leaking dressing all over the place. My friend also ordered a feta salad with grilled chicken. They basically took a premise salad and threw feta cheese in it. It was not fresh at all. And instead of chicken, he got pieces of plastic wrap. Absolutely disgusting! The feta cheese had blue chunks in it which I automatically thought it was either moldy or mixed with blue cheese. When I called to complain, they told me that feta cheese is suppose to be blue. Never ordering from there again. Oh and the salad dressing had expired a month ago.

The pros: The sandwich meats were fresh. The bread was fresh. The cons: inattentive and somewhat arrogant & immature employees behind the counter and at the register. No one seems to be listening when you’re giving your order. No one seems to care. The tables and floor were dirty. I cleaned off the table I sat at. Not impressive for a busy mid-town location, where you’d think they would aim to please and hope for return customers. The food was good, moderately priced for a submarine hero [although not«authentic» when it comes to a «JERSEY» sub] but NOT worth the rude attitude.

My coworker got me a sandwich from here and I was sold. He even gave me the someone else’s order in error but I still devoured it. Loved the Turkey & Provolone and Italian subs. The Mike’s sauce is the bomb, simple but oh so good. I’ve only ordered from seamless, so I’m not sure of the space or staff but every time I call to check on an order, there’s always a friendly voice on the other end. Only reason they didn’t get four stars is because they messed up my food last time I ordered, despite my specific details. Otherwise, these are delicious, real deal sandwiches.

Pretty solid sub sandwiches and cheesesteaks, although nothing to write home about. The positive is that they use fresh bread, meats and vegetables for their sandwiches and is a huge, huge, step up from Subway, but still can’t find myself giving it a higher rating. They’re fast, clean and quality is top notch. I tend to prefer the cold subs(Turkey, Provolone with Bell Pepper is my favorite) over the hot subs(chicken cheesesteak is pretty good). Overall, good, tasty, efficient sport in midtown east for a quick sandwich.

This is one of the best subs around but the employees here are horrible. Once my sub was passed to the person putting the toppings on it, I said, «everything but no mayo and no oil.» I think i might have said this in some alien language because that made zero sense to the guy. I repeated twice. Moved towards the register and turned around to see him putting seriously a cup of oil on my sandwich. They had already been so rude to me that I was just like — it’s fine. The guy at the register was even more rude and told me not to touch the sandwich until he had rung it up and I had paid. Idiots. Hire different staff. 3÷18÷157:15 pm.

Pricey, yes, but well worth it. I thought I could finish a giant sub in one sitting since it was a Friday and I had shit to do. Put on the buffalo hot sauce and jalapeños and right before the guy wrapped it up he looked at me and was like, «this for you?» «Yup.» “Sure you wanna do this?“ Not gonna lie, got a little worried. A little. He then proceeds to tell me that he’s seen guys twice my size try to go through with it only to fail. Plus he said with me adding all the peppers and shit, things would get crazy. I guess that’s what had me worried because I housed the first half without hesitation. «You can do this», I told myself. Yes, that’s how I talk to myself. Didn’t help that I was also drinking(solo) and as most of my friends can attest, I make for an interesting drunk. Long story short, I got into a mental fight with the second half of my sandwich and 8 minutes later, I lost. BUT the next morning, I loved that I lost the fight because I threw that shit in the oven and it was like reliving the previous night all over again. Still by myself though, still drinking but there was light out. I call that a win.

A Co-worker of mine grew up in NJ and actually knows the family behind Jersey Mike’s. He’d always rave about it saying it was the best subs. Problem was that it’s in NJ and we’re in Midtown. Astonishingly, they opened up NYC locations but still out of our«lunch time comfort bounds» in terms of location. Today, I randomly decided to check if they delivered, and they do! That said, we ordered 4 sandwiches: The Super Sub, The Italian Sub, Chicken Cheesesteak, and Cheesesteak. ALL were amazing and I would go on to say this was the best Italian sub I’ve had in a long long time. «Mike’s Way» is definitely the way to go. I would suggest getting the oil/vinegar ont he side if you don’t like your sandwich sloppy. That was my only gripe, but the quality and taste is there. Price is reasonable also. Definitely a staple to our daily lunch debates.

Updating and downgrading one star. This place overcharged me twice recently, though I only caught it the second time. The person at the register is basically just taking a guess what your sandwich once it’s plopped in front of him/her. The people preparing it could say, and he/she could ask. But that would demand effort, which is clearly in short supply at this shop.

I had walked by this place several times and always wanted to try. Am so glad I finally did! I ordered a regular Original Italian. It was soooo delicious! I’ve had the Italian sub at Subway and this one is definitely better. If they had toasted the bread, it would have been perfect! Prices are on the higher side($ 7.75 for a regular), but I was definitely full after the sub and was thinking next time I’ll get the mini. The meats were freshly cut right in front of you(like going to a grocery store deli section). My fiancée got a cheesesteak and thought it was pretty good. He’s usually picky about those so that’s a good sign! I will definitely return!

Stopped in for a sandwich after work. I was a bit confused as to which size sandwich to get, but the staff was good in showing me the bread sizes. I ended up getting a «regular» which length wise is not as big as a subway footlong, but has what seemed like much much more meat. Got the #5, a super sub — mike’s way with the oil vinegar and seasoning, Overall I loved it! Crunchy, fresh, delicious! Staff were really nice and quick. The guy running the register seemed new at it, but rung everything up correctly. Would definitely order sandwiches from here for lunch!

This is how a coworker sold me trying this place for lunch: «Growing up in jersey, I used to think this place was protected by the mob, cuz there was one on every corner but never any Subways around. Turns out the sandwiches are just pretty good». Who can argue with that logic. The sandwiches are decent, better than subway, but not as good as Potbelly. Good value for a midtown lunch.
