Fantastic coffee(and they do cold brew even in the winter!) friendly staff and their savory onion and mustard scones are to die for. Our favorite, go-to coffee shop to chat and sip during the week. Forego the big chains and get yourself a real, delicious coffee here :)

Tiny shop but very well designed and offers a cozy feel. I tried a latte last week and was instantly a fan… so much so that I forgot to inquire about the type of beans they use… maybe Stumptown? They also serve baked goods from Ovenly. Looking forward to grabbing a coffee my next visit. They also now offer a rewards, debit, gift card all in one.

Very cute tiny coffee shop. It’s a very different and more intimate experience, as there’s just a small counter with a barista. I loved looking at all the curious artworks and décor in the shop. It almost felt like I’d stumbled into a Wes Anderson styled set. I tried a matcha latte, which was incredibly delicious and rich. I’ll definitely come back to try everything else on the menu!

Discovered this cute little coffee shop via the CUPS app, which I absolutely love. The CUPS app helps you find mom and pop coffee shops that you wouldn’t have known existed due to the abundant amount of Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, etc. First off, the service here is incredible. The barista here is super friendly and provides you with great recommendations on the various coffees/size your coffee will come in. Granted the menu’s small, but that just makes ordering simpler! While brewing your drink, the barista engages in a conversation with you about your day, etc. You definitely don’t get this service at any Starbucks! I ordered the hot chocolate, which comes with optional marshmallows if you prefer. The marshmallows are then toasted with a hand held torch on the spot before being added to your drink. Did I mention the marshmallows are FREE?! To get anything free in NYC is rare. Nonetheless, the hot chocolate had the perfect chocolate taste and consistency; it tasted like a hybrid of milk and dark chocolate. Love that the drinks are served in these cute elephant cups as well! The only downside as the other reviews have mentioned is that there’s no table seating, making this a grab and go type of joint. I’ll definitely be returning!

Great coffee. HIGHLY recommend the granola cookie! Don’t waste time waiting in line at the Starbucks around the corner.

This is what the area needed in terms of coffee shops. Before this, I had to walk almost a mile to the nearest good coffee spot. Sure, Starbucks is right there too, but why on Earth would you go there?! Maybe to have a spot to setup your laptop. The Wooly Daily may not have laptop space, but what I HIGHLY recommend if you absolutely need to use your laptop, is to grab a coffee here and then take it over to Starbucks. OR, you could just put your laptop away and strike up a conversation with the moustache dude that works there. He’s one of those guys that seems to know a bunch about the history of the city — plus he had me try the cappuccino instead of my regular latte and I’m converted! The Wooly Daily is for humans, Starbucks is for robots.
