This small space within the bustling Fulton Center was especially packed for their grand opening promo — free drip coffee — yet the display of sweets, including artisanal toaster pastries (aka $ 4.50 Pop Tarts), was empty. Friendly staff dishing out a nice brew.

I came here on their inaugural «Free Coffee» day. It is located in the nice, and relatively new, Fulton Transit Center in lower Manhattan, not too far from the new WTC.
First, the coffee. I am a dark roast fan. The coffee here is a solid medium roast. It is a nice medium roast, but I’m a «burnt offerings» French roast kinda guy. I didn’t try espresso or anything, so YMMV.
Second, the snacks. I liked the raspberry pop tart and the bran/​flax/​blueberry muffin that I had. NYC prices, so if you’re a tourist, just know that pretty much anything is more than $ 4 a piece. Still, these items tasted good, so I am happy with it all. The Pop Tart is not the one from the grocery store, I want to assure you. It is the way PT would be if it was a home baked item. Flaky crust, generous filling and frosting that is not armor plated. All good.
Third, the service. Very helpful, friendly, and all that I would hope for. It’s a new store, so they are occasionally finding their bearings, but not to an irritating point. In any case, I was served promptly and courteously, so everything to be happy about.
Fourth, the location is awesome. You have a nice view of the middle of the Fulton and it is very quiet and restful even though there are a lot of people. Some sort of really great sound management in addition to making it look good.
Fifth, the internet /​wifi is amazingly fast. And, it’s free.
Overall, when you are in this are, have a few minutes to drink coffee and eat cool snacks, come here!

Great service! I walked in and was greeted. I believe they are fairly new (like a week). I was overwhelmed with the tasty treats (shown in my photos)! I was soooo excited that I ate the pastry I got right away (not a photo). Sorry. It was an apple pasty and boy was that baby tasty!
