Very spacious and clean. Great customer service. I dealt with Kareem and he was extremely attentive and had a great attitude while at work. Thank you Kareem

Fives stars for Kareem one of the employees. For some reason the coffee wasn’t hot, so he went out of his way to make me another cup. Usually I have to ask and sometimes get annoyed looks from the baristas, but this time, I didn’t even have to say a word because he already knew.

Like most of Starbucks it is full and noisy. But great location to grab a cold Frapuccino on a hot day in NYC. They are fast and nice in the service. It have free WiFi like most of them. Nothing special about food. But a big catalog for coffee mugs. Big and spacious place to take a sit if your touristic day has been too long. You can charge you phone, check under the sits! ;-)

This starbucks usually does not disappoint. Although you will see a handful of tourists in here because of it’s proximity to the downtown bus loop and other attractions, the staff is usually prompt, courteous and gets your order right. My only mini-complaint is that they are sometimes out of eggwhite feta wraps which are my fav, but otherwise, no complaints here :)

Kareem was so helpful! I just started drinking coffee and he took the time to help me choose what would be best. So grateful! You’re the best!

I came here every morning for two years. Some of the best staff at a Starbucks I have dealt with. They always knew my name, had my drink ready, and made me feel at home.

Me: «I waited 45 minutes to use the bathroom in a Starbucks across from city hall park.» «Um, yea its different here than Milwaukee.» On the plus side, delicious very berry hibiscus coolers! Same as in Milwaukee! And working bathrooms, which are difficult to come by sometimes in the city.

Probably one of the more«spacious» Starbucks located downtown near the City Hall. There are many electric outlets here but are located LOW under the seats near the window so you might have to reach your head down and search if you’re one of those people like myself who feel the need to constantly ‘charge’ their iPhones. That being said, Iike any Starbucks, coffee is consistent and the baristas here seem pretty chill. One of the baristas even gave me a drink on the house after finding out that I had the same name as himself. Awesome~ Probably the only downside of this location I can think of is that this is a MAJOR tourist area so you might have to wait up to an HOUR(I’m serious) if you’d like to use the restroom as the area is jam-packed with hordes of European and Latin American tourists coming in from all sides.

There is one thing that stuck out in my mind about this particular Starbucks. The line for the bathroom is enormous! Of course that is not the most important thing about a coffee shop, but hey, it was noticeable. Other than that, this Starbucks location is just as good as the others. Have no fears about coming here to get your Starbucks fix.

Always go to Starbucks in this area because it’s not as crowded as the ones on Broadway across from City Hall.

You don’t have to serve my coffee with a smile, but at least don’t give it to me with an attitude. Also — please read you own policies: Thank you for contacting Starbucks. You are correct, after purchasing any regular priced beverage you may purchase a brewed hot or iced coffee or tea at the reduced refill price, during the same store visit. That last bit is the important part, once you leave the store, your visit has ended and any subsequent coffee or tea refill thereafter would be considered a new purchase. Please note that those who are in the Green or Gold level of our My Starbucks Rewards program can receive unlimited free brewed hot or iced coffee or tea refills, regardless of the original beverage purchased, during the same store visit.

My day does not properly begin until I walk into this Starbucks. Pros: Super friendly, very efficient staff, will run through a long line of customers quickly, producing a correct bar of drink orders. Starbucks coffee is Starbucks coffee, at least there is no excuse for variations in taste between stores, so I appreciate the vibe here. As for my drinks– double cupped, venti Americano, no room. It is always hot, the espresso is fresh, and if one barista tries to separate the two cups, another will say«no, it’s double-cup for Jen». For my other half, on the weekdays, he drinks a venti bold roast, 2 splenda, ¼ of the cup filled with nf milk, and on the weekend he drinks a venti caramel macchiato with extra milk. We also order bagels(multigrain for me, plain for him) about 4 days per week. We don’t otherwise eat breakfast and I DO find it extremely ironic that my one-and-only bagel desire is from Starbucks. I’m usually much pickier than this. I LOVEMYSTARBUCKSIPHONEAPP! Pro or Con?: This Starbucks must be listed in every international tourguide book as the«BESTFREERESTROOMINNYC». At any given moment, there are 5 – 15 people in the restroom line, most are holding NYC maps and at best, 1 in 4 buy a drink. It’s fine for me, because it allows for people watching and doesn’t add much volume to the drink line =) Cons: Personally, I think some of Starbucks’ daily roasts are bitter. I suppose a few Splenda or a hint of sugar can neutralize this. I have no complaints with the espresso and espresso-based drinks.

My regular stop on the way to the office. They tend to get longish lines around 9am, so allow for some wait time.

This is my FAVORITEST Starbucks ever. The End. No srsly. This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. There’s just something about the baristas here that make my soy peppermint hot chocolate/10 pump sweetener shaken passion ice tea/soy gingerbread latte(not all together of course) THAT much better. Maybe it’s cause they are super friendly or maybe cause they are just damn awesome at making the drinks. Either or, this is my MUST go to Starbucks. And I’ve been coming here for 6 years. :) Yes seats here are rare. Yes there are tons of tourist. Yes the lines in the bathroom are longer than the lines for amusement park rides. Yes the bathroom is a little dirty. But best damn Starbucks in the COUNTRY. Yes dammit I know it’s a pretty bold statement!

I have been to this Starbucks a few times with my boyfriend since he works on the next block so it’s convenient for a quick lunch or cup of coffee, it’s good for people watching and the crazy ones too. It’s a tourist stop I think it’s in a tourist guide hand book so it’s crowded most times but you can get a seat here on the weekends to watch the tourists and crazies go by, and looking at «business men» holding meetings here and hogging the communal table, but all in all I never have to wait too long for a table so I can enjoy my beverage of choice, charge my iPhone, suck up the free WiFi like everyone else.

My boss drinks a LOT of coffee. I mean A LOT. So it’s no surprise I spend a lot of time here. The baristas are super-friendly and remember my regular orders(heck, one of them even named my americano + heavy cream«The Judy»), and always seem to do just the extra little bit to make customers happy. The recent remodeling job means now there are more outlets, a barrier between the bar and the restroom, and things are organized to flow better(for the geniuses that can’t seem to follow signs for the coffee line, they’re now routed via physical barriers). I’ve only used the restrooms here once or twice — yeah, there’s a long line(it’s right across from J&R and City Hall, close enough to ground zero — whaddaya expect?), but they didn’t seem any less clean than any other starbucks in the city… I’ve even seen the baristas cleaning them(and if they appointed someone to clean //more//often, it would make coffee service a tidge slower and the wait for the restroom a bit longer)

A strange turn of events in recent weeks. Someone decided the place needed a makeover. Signs were posted warning of shorter hours for a few weeks, and the place was completely closed for three days. This would lead you to believe some miraculous reimagination was in the works. Really, though, what it’s amounted to is a new paint job, and a slightly different look.(By comparison, the remodeling of the location at Spring Street was a complete transformation, so much so that the place hardly even looks like a Starbucks now) I’m sure this is only temporary, but there’s still a big stack of building supplies sitting in the corner, as they slowly complete the remodeling(I’m guessing it went longer than they had scheduled). All that said, some of the additions are VERY cool, notably: * a big community-style table * long benches along the windows * OUTLETS! Lots of them! Previously there was only one working outlet, now there are several. Laptop fun galore. Overall, a nice addition to a place that I already loved.

This is home to one of the top frequented restrooms in NYC. Seriously, there’s an hour wait for the bathroom. They dont clean it either. On the plus side, the big heater over the door is one of the only places of warmth in lower Manhattan. Many people take advantage of this as well. As for the actual drink bar, its kind of dirty, waiting on the line for the aforementioned service allows you to take a good look behind the counter. I’ll spare the details.
