We used to order lunch from here all of the time, but stopped due to constant issues with our orders and charges, etc. Almost a year later we decided to give it another shot… sorry we did. I basically got a bread sandwich with pickles and tomatoes, the cheese is rubber and barely one thin slice of eggplant. Worst chai latte ever. Delivery person was rude… done. for. good. bye. bye.

Service was ok. Don’t understand why they have TVs and not post the menu on them. Took a while to know what to order. Tuna Sandwich was 6.90, would have been cheaper going to Dunkin Donuts and theirs tasted better. Overpriced.

Way expensive! Pasta fagiola soup not made properly… Too thick. They also added a tuna surcharge! Pros: quick service and good WiFi. So I’ll try one more time

Hours are either wrong or I got kicked out of here early because I was here on a Monday night and I was told they close at 930 as I was sitting enjoying my coffee. I didn’t see any hours on the door so I’m not sure what time they really close. This was my first visit to this location but the coffee at aroma is always good so not too many complaints.

Fantastic place. Not busy, amazing food, spectacular customer service, comfortable seating, clean bathrooms. Overall very impressed with this Lower Manhattan café. Menu items are diverse and fresh. Very good portions. Coffee is better than Starbucks by leagues. Ample seating.

I’m a fan! I love the atmosphere! Clean, laid back, and casual. Their coffee is great and their soup was really tasty. I’ve been here twice and I’ll definitely be back! Just wish it was closer to home! Also, fair pricing. I recommend :-)

Strolling in NYC I stumbled on this place! Coffee is amazing, I tried their iced caramel latte and it was so good. The coffee just had a different taste. I also tried their warm chocolate croissant, I almost melted! Just the right amount of goodness, and it literally melted in my mouth! I honestly cannot wait to go back! The café is extremely cozy, it’s by the 9 – 11 memorial so it’s pretty busy and chaotic there. It was refreshing to just sit there enjoy my coffee and croissant with a good book! Definitely recommend over Starbucks.

Simple café. I needed a reliable place to just do some paperwork for a few hours and came in here. I’ve always found a space to sit down here, which is my favorite thing. There is open and free wi-fi(you have to just log in in your browser) and it worked fine for me. Coffee is average. They do offer food here, but I’ve never tried it before! The employees were average as well to me — not inviting and warm, but not rude either.

Really excellent space! Comfortable seating with plenty of tables, booths, and barstools, very spacious. It’s usually pretty busy(and noisy) on weekday afternoons. Bring headphones if you plan to get work done. The wifi is open and free, but it kicks you off and you have to log back in pretty frequently. –1 star because the service is consistently poor. I waited 10 minutes for a coffee and croissant. The staff mutedly and indistinctly shouts names over a PA and you claim your order in an assembly line of cafeteria trays. Very inefficient.

Nice clean café downtown. Settled here because we couldn’t find a quick breakfast joint in the area. Their croissant sandwiches were average and all tasted microwaved. Their steak add on is not worth it, it’s the thin frozen slices that of course also appeared microwaved. Was very dry and tasted like paper. Can’t give much of an opinion on the coffee. I ordered the ice aroma light and thought it was an iced coffee. But ended up being a coffee slush, I was disappointed with it.

I had managed expectations for this place but man was I happy. Their halumi(sp?) salad was absolutely delicious. I hear what people say about this being overpriced – it’s not cheap. But everything in my salad tasted very fresh and that was definitely worth it for me. The seating spaces are nice and clean – it’s a good place to hang for a nice, casual lunch with a friend. This might seem simple, but in this area it’s less common than you’d think.

Love is the only word I can use to describe this place. We stumbled upon this gem while in a sea of Starbucks. Let me give you the low down: Lines are manageable. The ordering process can be a bit confusing because no one really wants to volunteer to take your order. They just expect you to alert someone when you are ready.(Small price to pay for great food and coffee). The latte I got was a hazelnut latte and it was so full of flavor I almost ate the cup it was in just to keep savoring the flavor. I ordered a half sandwich that had egg and avocado and other NOM NOMs. They inly had white bread left when I ordered, but I didn’t mind. Delish! Plenty of seating! Clean dining area. Variety of views! But they need to remove the posters from the windows. The only thing I was completely disgusted by was the chocolate they give everyone with their order. It was waxy and tasteless. I was highly disappointed. Great experience and I will certainly be back!

This is a no brainer, the moment you go through the doors of a restaurant, unless its a McDonald’s, the least you expect is cleanliness and excellent customer service. Have learned the hard way to carry a bottle of sanitizer for those moments occasions when a restaurant table is sticky, with a mix of sweat, juice, soda, soup on it. NASTY, yes, this place is nasty as it can get, football field, baseball park nasty and this is NOT on a busy day. I had purchased tickets for One World Observatory and decided to do the hour and half wait in Aroma, and decided to try this restaurant for a change, so it was one. The floor under the table had garbage, left over napkins, food from the day. The table counter top was extremely stick. The surface was so bad that I went ahead and cleaned it myself. One of the employees saw me and immediately went over to clean with a DIRTY blue rag. For the hour and a half that I waited there I did not see any employees swiping the tables. They did went over and picked up the cups, plates once people were done eating. The place maybe had 7 customers from 6:40pm up to until 8:20pm. More than enough time to swipe the floors, wipe the tables with a clean rag, dress up the coffee serving station etc. Some of the alleged leather chairs are very worn out on the arm rests, there is maybe one or two charging stations /outlets for the smartphones, tablets or laptops. 90% of the customers who walked in used their electronic devices and on the little bit of time two people hooked their phones to get them charged. The only docking station is right in the center of the restaurant and way under the table, takes some work to finally connect the device.” The places needs an overhaul, visually and on staff management. You are a block or so away from World Trade Center, museum, observatory, and its located in a very strategic corner. The only plus side is, it is very spacious and a AC is maintained at a very comfortable level. Overall the place sub-par. I would not recommend this place, over-priced, over-staffed, under-management

This is a huge restaurant in Tribecca that offers amazing, healthy food and delicious coffee. Aroma serves sandwiches, soups, salad, type food. Everything is fresh a relatively affordable. They have a similar concept to Panera only BETTER. You order from one line and then pick up your food from another line. The staff here is extremely friendly. My first time here I was trying to read the electronic menu and the cashier offered me a paper version. Talk about anticipating the customers need. The set up of the restaurant is nice too. Its pretty big so there is usually a place to sit. There is a lunch crowd, coffee crowd, and then your random one-offs. I love aroma’s epresson. Its not the crazy bitter kinds that takes every ounce of your being to swallow. Its the smooth kinds with a rich flavor. Coffee items also come with a small dark chocolate! Yay to free chocolate.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops/cafes in the New York FiDi area. Located very close to the World Trade Center Memorial, Aroma Espresso Bar gets a very high turnover of tourists, construction workers and wall-street types on the weekdays. There is more than enough tables and seating inside the store. They make a mean hot chocolate, my girlfriend loves it. I especially love their cheese and egg croissant. They warm it up for you and the croissant is very flaky. I love that they use real eggs in their croissant too instead of the kind that you see in Burger King or McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches. Wait-time for our food and drinks is never long. The only thing I don’t like is that not all the employees have a great personality. My first visit, a young white man took my order and was very helpful. My following visit, I was helped by a young black lady who wasn’t very personable and gave me a death glare the whole minute I was at the order counter. Their free WiFi is excellent!

A great place in the area to grab a decent iced coffee. Lots of seating and power outlets to charge your phone or do work on your laptop. Very kind staff.

The cali chicken half sandwich(free w/their proprietary MyCheck app) was substantial and satisfying but took quite some time and wasn’t particularly flavorful. It’s a large space that has a non-functional charging station, which is odd given there were a handful of folks just sitting along the window counters using the free outlets there, though I guess the kiosks are intended if you don’t have your charger; convenient to subway though I guess that’s not saying much down here. $ 0.10USD1 $ 0.10USD Subtotal $ 0.10USD Special Offer -$ 0.10USD Total $ 0.00USD

I have been to many locations including those in Israel and recently went here to the TriBeCa location and remembered just how much I loved it. The portions are very generous for the price, they are very vegetarian and gluten free friendly and just overall fresh delicious and quick. I think they’re extremely reasonably priced too. And now for what I actually ate! I got the power breakfast — I am a huge breakfast person and was starving before I came in. I could barely finish half. SO fresh and delicious. This came with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, a salad, avocado, cream cheese, feta cheese, two eggs any style and 4 pieces of toast. YUM. My brother is gluten free and they can make almost any sandwich gluten free by switching out the bread. Of course you have to get the iced aroma. A little too sweet for me but perfect as a treat! Each iced aroma comes with a chocolate too, what’s not to love?

A coffee lounge? Yes, it does exist. In briefly scanning the takeout menu, there are many options for breakfast and brunch. With little time to spare I opt for warm Apple Strudel for $ 2.75 which was heated within mere minutes served on a plate with a fork and two free milk chocolates. The pastry held together when bitten into. There are actual lounges and plentiful seating. Service is attentive, courteous and efficient with a smile. Orders are called by name. If I had more time I would surely opt for Marshmallow Hot Chocolate comforting my inner spirit on a blistery cold day. One charging station is available by the order line for a minimal fee to the tech gadgets in dire need of power.
