Worth checking out if you’re looking in Columbus Circle area. Huge, indoor/outdoor space within a hotel that fills up with a mix of the guests and men in suits from the neighborhood. Stylish and a little bit of a scene. The outdoor area is where its at though: benches, couches, and nice seating groups, lovely for a late night in fall. Order food/drinks at the bar inside.

The space is gorgeous on a nice afternoon and evening and the drinks, though on the pricey side, are pretty good. The main issue is that this is a horrible place for late night drinks. First of all, there doesn’t appear to be any lights so when it gets dark out, you will literally be standing in darkness out on the roof. Depending on what mood you’re going for, it may or may not be the greatest. The space also closes at 11pm so you’ll either have to leave or move inside to Hudson Common.

Unique outdoor area that doesn’t get too crowded! Definitely a good twist on the average NYC rooftop bar. I’ve been twice and really enjoyed the ambiance both times, both with just a friend and another time with a group. Drinks are pricey, but it’s worth it to hit up a quieter outdoor space for an after hour drink! The tacos are good, too!

Went here on Saturday. New tequila/taco lounge stop the Hudson Hotel. Truly cozy — atmosphere was fun. They don’t take reservations, but because of the set up. Beautiful space filled with little nooks of picnic tables, Tête-à-tête tables, and chaise lounge chairs. Décor was electric. Oversized cast iron watering pots and potted plants… feels like a secret garden. Would be a really great date spot. Margarita menu was impressive with innovative flavors such as raspberry jalapeño, cucumber watermon, and of course, traditional. They are all hand made at one of the two rooftop bars. Running about $ 16 each, they can quickly add up, so I recommend committing to the $ 120 for a pitcher and getting appx 8 drinks in total(a little over filled with ice, but tasty). The food is good, basically street food consisting of guac, tacos, and I think some sides. Guac was super flavorful. We tried the fish, pork, chicken and beef tacos. They were small, but traditional size and were actually pretty tasty. At around 11pm, we were asked to leave the rooftop garden and go into one of two bars. A little off putting that they were eager to push us out after we purchased over two pitchers, but they were closing that section. Went into the library bar after for a drink. Realllly awesome ambiance. Would recommend this for a date(margarita, small snacks, and then a drink at library bar).

I went there with a few coworkers after 4pm on a Friday and we enjoyed the view, the ambience and more importantly the drinks! I recommend the Hudson Daisy!

The only thing that even warrants a piece of a star is that this is actually a pretty outdoor space. Everything else is disastrous here. I emailed for a reservation a week in advance for my friend’s birthday party. I was told that parties under 6 don’t require reservations but that we should be able to walk in at 7:30pm without a problem. We arrive closer to 8 and find that we can’t even access the space until at least 8:30 because there’s a private party. So we wait around and finally go in. The furniture is mostly covered by plastic, and there are limited seating options. Fine. We try to find anyone who works at the place so we can order margaritas and tacos, which we read about extensively on the website. After about 45 minutes of trying to find any staff to talk to — we find out a) there are no tacos tonight(wtf? it’s a taco bar?) and b) despite the extensive margarita list available online, they only have ONE type of plain margarita that’s extremely sub-par and costs a whopping $ 20 per mini-glass! We were forced to eat the disgusting stadium-style food from the indoor bar. We had hot dogs which were flavorless, boiled and in wonder-bread buns(for $ 8!) and without toppings. Then we had the most repulsive grilled cheese i’ve ever dreamed of — it was dripping maple syrup and butter and you couldn’t even taste any cheese! how can you mess up a grilled cheese? a $ 12 one at that! the fries were the only saving grace, but be prepared to pay extra for dipping sauces. When we tried to find the manager to complain, the staff proved utter incompetence and after over an hour of waiting for the manager who said he was going to give us drink /food tickets — we just decided it wasn’t worth our time to stay a minute longer. and we didn’t want any more of the horrible food or drinks anyways. This is by far the worst dinning/bar experience I’ve had in the 5+ years i’ve lived in Manhattan, and unfortunately it was on my friend’s birthday. AVOID!

I made a reservation here for a large party the other day. For the past 2 days, I have been trying endlessly to call back and modify. I’ve called the direct line, called the hotel concierge, left messages, even emailed back on the confirmation email and no reply. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Went last night as a group of six. Made a reservation but apparently they only guarantee you a seating area, not enough seats for your whole party. We were able to borrow from other tables so it wasn’t a big deal. The drinks were good, not too sweet. Our two favorites were the Mezcal Mule and Strawberry Mint. The mahi mahi tacos and skirt steak tacos were really good as well. Loved the atmosphere. Great place to spent some time with friends on a warm summer night.

We got a group together here when friends were in from out of town. We were going to be about 20 people so we worked with the event staff to get a private area. They could not have been more helpful or pleasant! The whole experience was totally seamless, and the area is awesome — feels like someone’s backyard where you can just hang out and chill, just a great atmosphere. Food was tasty and drinks were excellent. We had some kids there too and they were able to occupy themselves without bothering other patrons because there is a lot of space. Lots of little tables/areas where you can hang out with a smaller group too. Perfect oasis in the city!

The atmosphere alone is worth the 5 stars. It was really hot out, so we sat inside and got a lamb burger from their window service. It was delicious. Wide selection of drinks to choose from. Great spot!

Tacos: below average. Drinks: ok. Not consistent. The same drink can taste very different the second time around. Price: priceyyy. Ambiance: just gorgeous. This beautiful rooftop demands better food and drink!

LOVE this place! The ambience is gorgeous! Super chic and sexy spot. Perfect for a date or a night out with friends. The set up is indoor outdoor. Obviously the outdoor section is where its at. You can order from the larger menu inside and bring your food outside which is nice. Outside they have 1 tequila bar, 1 regular bar diagonally across and a taco bar. The drinks are unique and tasty but they are expensive! $ 16 per drink and the drinks are in very small glasses! The tacos were good, more reasonably priced. I tried the Pineapple chili skirt steak and that was good. I also tried the buffalo wings(of course!) which were pretty good as well. They had a live DJ who played great music. The crowd was nice looking. It wasn’t too loud so you can still hear yourself talk. Overall great experience. Love the venue!

Nothing to write home about. Don’t get me wrong, the place is nice and perfect for a semi-quiet happy hour with coworkers. We were lucky enough to get the big table in the middle so it was great. The ‘taqueria’ however needs to get it together. They had no idea what people ordered, who paid, who didn’t — they were a hot mess so we ended up waiting for a long time but other than that it was cool. There were a variety of tequila infused drinks so it’s great for a tequila lover. We had a great night but it wouldn’t be my first choice of a rooftop.

Beautiful ambiance with beautiful rooftop patio views! The layout is really nice with a «loungy» feel surrounded by greenery, which makes you feel comfortable and ready to settle down with a drink in your hand. The crowd there is great and doesn’t scream«I am drunk out of my mind and will let everybody know»…which is a plus in my book. :) The reason I took a couple of stars off is because they closed the bar early stating that business was slow. I am sorry but that is not a reason to close down the bar early… you are a hotel… not a mom and pop shop that closes its doors when you have a slow night! My friends who had gotten there a little early said that the drinks were fantastic… but since I didn’t get a chance to have the mixed drinks I cannot speak to the quality of drinks. Even though I didn’t get a chance to try the drinks out I still give this bar 3 stars, purely on the ambiance! Hopefully, next time I will get a chance to try out the drinks and they won’t close the bar early! Looking forward to changing my 3 star review with another visit to Tequila Park soon :)

I went to Tequila Park for a private event(open bar) so I’m reviewing the atmosphere. Walk into the Hudson hotel and go straight up the escalators to an oasis of a rooftop! Lots of lounge-y seating, and I enjoyed the greenery. The margarita(on the rocks) was excellent, and the DJ was spinning some good jams(albeit sometimes she needed to do a better job monitoring the volume). Some of the bartenders seemed a little confused about what was going on, but I gave them a pass since it was the first opening day of the season. I’m glad I got a decent taste of being rich and famous, because despite the lovely atmosphere, I’m not paying $ 16 for a margarita. And $ 12 for elote? I’ll stick to my street vendors for my elote fix!

Perfect first date spot! Dark, beautiful, very romantic locale. The tacos were great and so were the drinks. Loved that everyone was into their own situations and not ‘people watching’ aka staring at strangers!

Very nice atmosphere… Hudson Hotel is a great social gathering place. But the prices for the food/drinks are TOODAMNHIGH. And they changed the concept of the adjacent restaurant. I don’t like it. A 4ounce Paloma margarita is $ 16 … guac w/chips are $ 16. Never again.

Tequila Park is an adorable city-styled mini park built as an extension to the Hudson Hotel – it’s their outdoor bar that closes before the partying starts but stays open late enough to enjoy a post-dinner cocktail. For this reason, it doesn’t seem to get sloppy or cater to that young«I am just legal enough to get into a bar» crowd. IT’S WONDERFUL! The cocktails are exciting and fresh. If you are a Tequila person, there are so many specialty cocktail iterations that you have to go and try! The thing that stands out is that they are modern versions, not only the classic traditional tequila cocktails that you find on menus in dark lounges. Nope, this is the complete opposite. You have trendy people, creative cocktails, bright and open outdoor space, «fresh» New York City air, and snack foods. With people lounging, chatting, eating and drinking, it has a picnic in a restaurant feel – a catered picnic. LOVE! ENJOY!

Some poor reviews from others but I thought this spot was okay, but not someplace I would frequent. The three stars is for the drinks and the space. My drinks last night weren’t bad, I had the strawberry mint and raspberry jalapeño margaritas. They were pretty easy to drink for the most part. And the space and design of tequila park is pretty cute in my opinion. I loved the eclectic furniture combination outside and the picnic table style seating nestled in this high courtyard with lush/fake greens and lights in the concrete of NYC. Things I did not like were… the tacos, the service and the price. I’ve definitely had wayyyyyyyy better tacos in the city so these were disappointing. And while the tacos were brought to our table side, I felt like it would have made sense if they had waiters for drinks but that’s just a business decision. The price was also hefty in general for this place.$ 16 for margaritas… thanks so maybe i’ll stop by here once every half year?

Last night I went with my friend Jen to check out the grand opening of Tequila Park Taqueria in the Hudson Hotel. It was a tad chilly by the time we got there, but with my jacket on it was a super enjoyable night at a rooftop bar. The place is very large by comparison to other similar venues, and the vibe is definitely downtown meets uptown($ 16 for margaritas?! Holy cow!?), yet nostalgic and whimsical(hello strings of lights, fake grass, and foosball tables). In all honesty, their menu looked super interesting. I started with the Horchata Apple Blossom Margarita with Riazul Reposado and apple blossom honey and Jen got the Smokin’ Apple with Corzo Reposado, ginger, mezcal and red sea salt. These couldn’t be more different apple margaritas if they tried. Mine was on the sweeter side while Jen’s had quite the kick, but I enjoyed them both. For food we split two orders of tacos, one from the«common» side of the menu – the crispy 48-hour pork carnitas($ 8 for 2) – and one from the«uncommon» side of the menu – sriracha cheesesteak($ 12). Both were served on homemade tortillas and the latter packed quite the punch with the sriracha. Would highly recommend both! No visit to Tequila Park is complete without at least 3 rounds of foosball(best of 3 wins of course!). We played 4 and yours truly won 2, leaving with sufficiently sore arms. I forgot how much fun those little men on poles could be!
