My family and I visted Teich Toys & Books for my birthday it was a day in NYC!!! So when we went there it was crowed but it was expected. They have every toy available the store was vert clean and thats shocking to a place that is very crowed. The part of the story is the baby dolls where you can adpot a baby doll and its so cute and also take pictures. There is also the big piano they are now taking your picture before getting on the big paino and its very coll you can buy the pic with a frame!!! I recommend this store to everyone who likes toys.

This place is so wonderful & deserves more praise on Unilocal.I came here this past rainy Championship Sunday. My friend’s precious baby boy is turning 1 & I wanted to get him something special & cute.
I had passed this independently owned store a few times & it had caught my attention. This seemed like the perfect reason to pay it a visit. Wow! I am beyond impressed.
Teich Toys & Books is chock-​full of thoughtfully made, beautifully crafted, mindfully curated, nostalgia-​evoking items. They have fair trade products & items made with kids’ health in mind. They also have some timeless classics (wooden blocks. first-​rate board games. hand puppets.) I lost time in this store.
The young woman who was working was so so so nice. She warmly provided information to help guide me, but still let me hunt myself. She was friendly & welcoming without being pushy or disingenuous.
I love the items I purchased & feel like it was priced well considering make, timelessness, & value. I am so excited to give the gifts to this sweet baby boy… & I admit I also indulged in an enchanted little something for my own adult home. :-)

Love this store; I’ve been shopping here for gifts. The staffs there are knowledgable about products of all ages and price ranges. I am the favorite auntie ever. LOL. So happy to have this store so close to home. xoxo

What a great new independent toy store! Lots of fun things for kids of all ages, perfect for gifts for my nieces and nephews, and when they visit, I’ll take them there because there’s even a giant train kids can ride on. I love supporting Mom and Pop (and kid!) shops, and this one is a gem.
