SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! We bought a $ 220 bottle of wine a few days before New Year’s Eve. When we tried to uncork it on New Year’s Eve, the cork crumbled. We called Imperial, explained our situation and– get this– on NEW YEAR’S EVE– and despite the fact that I misplaced the receipt, they sent a guy right over with a replacement bottle which he uncorked on the spot in front of our guests! Don’t we all wish that EVERY business provided this level of service? You BET! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

This shop is in my neighborhood, and has the best liquor selection in the area. They do tastings frequently which provide a nice opportunity to try different things, and the service is always incredibly friendly. On a more personal note, I was recently in the store and dropped my wallet on my way out. I didn’t realize until much later in the evening, after the shop had already closed. The manager looked in my wallet, only to track down my information, and attempted to call and email me. They held it for me until I could get there the next day, and everything was accounted for. Such a relief. Thank you, thank you to Imperial Vintner for the excellent and honest customer service!

This is a quick review because I literally walked in and walked out. I looked, found the alcohol I wanted, they got it, and I paid. It was pretty straight forward and simple. The guy that was helping me was friendly and I have no complaints here.
They do have a really wide selection of spirits and wine. I only needed a small bottle of vodka, but it seems like they only had large bottles of alcohol. So, I had to get more than what I really needed, which I guess is alright.
Check them out… they probably have what you need.

I live in the area and this is definitely the best wine/​liquor store around. It is not the closest one to my apartment but I will always go out of my way to shop here. Measured in square feet the store is not that large, but they find a way to pack a great selection of wine into the space. Top it off with friendly service, and they keep a cold bottle of every white wine they carry! You can’t find a better store in a ten block radius.

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is crooked! They rang up my 2 bottles of $ 13 wine for $ 526 on my credit card! When I pointed out the mistake they re-​rang it for the right amount but then voided that charge and put the $ 526 amount through. Since it was deleted before closing, it never got to the credit card company so there is no electronic trail! I have been fighting them since March and they are still sending the charge through. My credit card says there’s nothing they can do. So they stole nearly $ 500 from me. And the manager/​owner is a jerk who refuses to cooperate. He even accused me of continually threatening him — I have been in twice to ask him for help. I have NEVER threatened him in any way. Maybe I should.
