love this place as it has interesting, flavorful selections but it’s not so intimidating, particularly if you have a small child. There are tons of delectable desserts. I’ve had several slices of cakes from Lady M’s and various cookies and cupcakes from other places. Had a great sub at No. 7 Subs this last time. You can’t go wrong at any of the places. My only complaint… more seating is desperately needed. They want people to sit and eat with each other but there really isn’t enough seating. Oh well… we’ll keep going!

I ordered from here over a handful of times and have never been disappointed. My food is always delivered in a timely manner and delicious. But for $ 30 per order it better be lol

When the delivery is on time, this place is great. When you’re starving and the foods late it sucks. Great sushi, poor service.

Super great and affordable sushi in Harlem with pretty quick and accurate delivery. I’ve never had an issue with my order being incorrect and have ordered multiple times. Would definitely recommend again and again. The awesome role is… well it’s awesome. So delicious.

I love the food there. And for the price you can’t beat that. However today I left my store just to step out and forgot to leave my normal tip. When the delivery man came my coworker explained she couldn’t leave a tip or write one for him. He insisted that he would call me to ask. I NEVER mind giving tips I understand but to ask or demand it very uncomfortable. They should work on this.

The sushi from here is great and affordable. The service is absolutely horrible. Their delivery takes forever no matter how simple the order. Always over an hour, no matter what. Do not order delivery from here.

This place has morphed from pleasant to unbearable over the past year. Several noticeable changes. 1) the price has gone up over 15% WHILE the food amount has gone down 25%. Example. Sashimi rice bowl. I have been dining in for a good three years for at least 2 – 3 times per week. In the past year, the price has gone up from $ 15 to $ 17. The 8 pieces of sashimi is priced from 15 to now 17. have become thinner and thinner, smaller and smaller. One time I questioned the owner about the change. He refused to acknowledge it. I stop going there for at least 6 months. I recently went again after a long absence. Boy, the pieces are even smaller than 6 months ago! The mango pieces went from a generous 4 piece to small bits of no more than 2 pieces. I used to feel quite full after dining. Now I have to order another roll or eat other food when I get home! For the record, you will NOT feel full at all! You will be ½ full even after spending 20 dollars! 2) the staff: at least ONE less staff than before. nobody works at the front to take orders and pack takeouts. The owner is doing that. The owner used to be the passboy type getting order from the kitchen, take care of dine in customers. etc. Now, two jobs collapse into one and the owner is a sour bitter person doing much in bad mood all the time. 3) the owner seems to morph to be a different man. The man was a pleasant fellow greeting customers. Now he becomes an extremely grumpy and bitter man! His appearance has gone from clean-shave, well-dressed to no-shave and dirty and baggy pants. I do not want to even look at him because his pants are so dirty that he looks like a garbage man. He used to say goodbye to dining in customers, now he does not even smile to people coming in or sometimes not even lifting up his eyes to look at people. He has gone completely bitter. 4) Cash and Takeout package becomes ONE person. Because the staff is one less. The owner always handles cash and then turns around to pack and prepare take outs without changing his gloves or anything like that. So, there you go, take your chances! 5) Unpleasant dine-in experience. The owner seems to criticize the cooks a lot. Unhappy about the portion they are giving out(remember the food becomes 25% less?) I saw them change cooks so much that I expect new faces every a couple weeks when I walk by(I live in the neighborhood). The takeout fellows also are changed frequently. And worse yet, they do not even say Hi to the owner. They seem to be very unhappy. All around people work there seem to be so unhappy, makes me feel uncomfortable dining in. Three years ago, I would have given them 4 stars, even though they are kind of expensive, but overall pleasant; now, I would hardly give them 1 star because of the above unpleasant changes of this place! I do NOT recommend it ATALL.

I think the fastest Seamless delivery I’ve ever had.(I live about 10 blocks from them, but still!) Decently priced. Not the best quality ever but I definitely feel safe eating it. Ordering sushi from them(real sushi — just the cut of fish) is some of the thickest sliced fish I’ve had in NYC. I know that might not be the most authentic way to do it, but it really helps me feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. Especially liked the tuna avocado roll. Will be ordering from again.

I may not be a sushi connoisseur, but this was subpar stuff. FOOD: The key component. While I was VERY pleased with the vegetarian selection(AATC [avocado, asparagus tempura, cucumber], Cucumber, Avo, Jalapeño Avo Mango, Cucumber Mango Cream Cheese, Shiitake Mushroom Tempura Jalapeño, Tofu Inari… that’s a lot!!) and vegan options even, the sushi was too mushy and small. I ordered the Shiitake Mushroom Tempura Jalapeño and the Veggie Delight rolls. The Shiitake roll had great fried mushroom goodness, but the jalapeño was bland and tasted like bell pepper. Who puts bell pepper in sushi? It was also quite small for $ 5.50. The sushi I typically get at a much fancier place in New Jersey is $ 4 for lunch for a veg roll like that one and is a bit bigger. The Veggie Delight Roll though, is one I loved! It is sweet potato tempura with avocado and mango(didn’t taste any mango though) and a spicy mango drizzle. This one was a whopping $ 8 but was much larger, filling, and tasty. The avocado was so creamy and fresh, and the sweet potato was soft and flavorful. Honestly, they don’t know how to make sushi rice. It was overlooked(mushy)…but flavorful. I like mushy rice(sorry), but it made the sushi fall apart too easily. Oh well. AMBIANCE: Not fancy whatsoever, could probably pass for a Froyo place ambiance. Just a few tables, you order at the cashier. Better for take out or delivery; the plates were disposable too. I can’t speak for customer service as we didn’t have any delivery experiences. PRICE: Eh. Could be cheaper in my opinion. My friend’s got the $ 20 Manhattan special and it was quite small. Even though it’s «$» and $ 5 – 8 a roll, you have to get 2 – 3 rolls so I’d say you are actually paying around $ 12 – 15 a person. The sashimi bowl was even more at $ 17. This is Harlem, not Manhattan. I expect the prices of a fast sushi place to be the same as a moderately fancy NJ sushi joint, especially for the size of the rolls. Would I go there again? Probably not since I eat around the Columbia area(110 – 125 streets is my range) roughly once a month and I’ve had better experiences elsewhere. I’ll just stick with my sushi in New Jersey and go only to Beyond Sushi if I’m craving it in the big apple.

My seamless/grubhub bae. Fish is fresh and service is pretty speedy, make sure you tip the delivery guy! And, most importantly, it’s very cheap. Maybe it’s not 5 star sushi, but for delivery sushi this is pretty top notch.

I cannot tell you what the food is like since the first time I showed up there I was totally ignored. My husband walked out with me right behind. I decided to give them a second chance months later just to encounter the same experience.

I’m so happy they deliver to me! Their stuff is always fresh and so good. I think their yellow taxi is my favorite. We’ve waited anywhere from 40 – 1.5 hours. So if you’re starving and want sushi now, just know it might be a wait, but it’s so worth it. We just make sure to order before we are hungry so it will be on time :)

This is the best sushi I ever had in Manhattan. The awesome roll and the salmon lover are my favorite ones. The veggie delight is something.

I order sushi for delivery more often than I’d like to admit. I’ve ordered from a couple places in Harlem and they have been nothing but positive experiences. When my order arrived from Sushi Sushi it was prompt which was great. The delivery guy didn’t seem to care that he was holding everything sideways but you know, whatever. When I opened the container I was immediately greeted with a fishy smell – never pleasant when you’re eating raw fish. And I noticed the container was slightly warm. When I had the first piece of my yellow tail and scallion roll I could immediately tell that the fish was warmer than room temp. I could tell that the yellowtail wasn’t the freshest, but the salmon was and so was the tuna and striped bass sushi that I got. All of it was warmer than room temp. I called the restaurant and was on the phone for almost 10 minutes to finally have the girl say that she checked my order herself, they’ve never had this complaint from anyone else so it could not be possible. Well lady, it was. She then took my number down and said the manager would call back. Which he did but at that point I’d had a long day and the last thing I wanted was to talk to someone who was going to insist that there was nothing wrong with the order. I eventually just said whatever I had to to get off the phone and ended up spending 30 bucks on sushi I didn’t eat. Needless to say I will never order from this place again solely based on the fact that they have horrible customer service. Although if their plan is to never have to refund a customer by exasperating them so you just want them to shut up, they are succeeding.

So friggin delicious! I’m obsessed with the Spicy Delight Roll. Can’t wait to try their dessert rolls. I mean come on a PB&J roll?

This is definitely not a $ restaurant. I paid nearly $ 20 for two signature rolls. I had dinosaur rolls and salmon rolls. Both were surprisingly delicious, which compensated my bad feeling about paying much more than I expected. They used to have check-in free Nutella rolls. I may come back if they bring that back: p

Craving sushi while I was visiting a friend in New York, I decided to try this place. I got there 10 minutes before they closed so they of course were a little upset. but they took my order non the less and even few more who came in after me. I ordered a Spicy Special, Awesome Roll, and Nutella roll which came free with Unilocal check in. I got everything togo. The spicy special came with a miso soup. Everything was delicious for the price and convenience. I really like the way the pack their food togo as well makes everything easy for you and yet still appetizing. Living in this area this would be my place to go for a quick sushi craving fix and even for treating myself to sushi when I just want quantity rather than quality. The nutella roll was interesting. I enjoyed it however it might not be for people who arent as adventurous with food!

Came here for lunch and got the Spicy Special! It comes with 3 spicy rolls(tuna, shrimp, and crab) and a soup or salad. Also I redeemed my check-in dessert roll, so make sure to check in! The place was sort of set up as a fast food type restaurant with the large on the side and you place your order. Since, it was set up this way, I thought the food would come out really quick, but it still probably took 10+ minutes, which was fine(just got misled). The rolls tuna and crab rolls were pretty standard. Although I do want to give props to getting the right amount ripeness to the avocado. However the spicy shrimp roll was the freshest I’ve had. I’d definitely recommend! It was just a lot more shrimp-y and flavorful than the ones I’ve had before. The dessert roll was a nice edition and salad was simple with a soy based dressing(?). I wouldn’t necessarily say this place is super cheap but it is well priced and would recommend!
