Had a wonderful evening. The fish and chips were perfect. The owner and waitstaff were great. Loved the atmosphere. We were looking for a neighborhood place that wasn’t too trendy. This fit the bill perfectly. Will definitely return in the near future. Just returned from my second visit. This time I ordered spareribs that were wonderful. This is fast becoming one of my favorite restaurants. I hadn’t seen my guests in a while, so we sat and had a leisurely meal. They were accommodating. When we realized they were getting really busy we left. Not because of them, but out of courtesy. I will be back! My thanks to the chef and the wonderful staff. Cheers!

First off, the location is in Greenwich Village. The walk to the place alone is a treat in itself. Second, the place. Very cozy, small yes, but unpretentious and charming. The tables are so close to each other so that’s something to consider but otherwise, it didn’t bother us. Third, the food. I love Sunday Brunch, wherever I am in the world! And Sullivan Bistro makes up some perfect Brunch Food! Their freshly brewed coffee was nice. I ordered the French Toast with 2 eggs and bacon special and it was warm and wonderfully delicious! Now the Bellinis! My friend and I each had 2 glasses of it and at only $ 5 each, it felt like such a treat! Who can resist Bellinis for Sunday Brunch? Not we for sure! Overall a good Sunday Brunch spot. Indulge! =)

Dined with my family tonight and everything was delicious. The owner, Richard, greeted us and was very gracious. The menu is varied and offered an entrée for every preference. I’m vegetarian and there were several choices. I decided on the veggie burger which was homemade and delicious. My sons had the turkey meatloaf and gnocchi which they both loved and my husband had the ribs which he said were great. The space is small but cozy. We would definitely return on our next visit to NYC

Hidden gem! Tucked into this place after having a wait at the Dutch. Great brunch prices, delicious bloody Mary’s, food is fantastic! We cleared our plates. The overall feel is a bit cluttered dinerish, but I thought it was quaint and cozy.

The cuisine at Sullivan Bistro was delightful. The calamari was crispy and delicious. The chicken and guac club sandwich was very good as well. Nice layer of guac. Additionally, the ribs were fall of the bone tender and the sauce was finger licking good, dark and rich. The drinks were very well balanced especially the apple martini. The décor was definitely cozy and nicely lit. Beautiful red velvet along the seats. Very nice outdoor patio section with a nice view of quiet sullivan street. I will return to place I really enjoyed the drinks and food!

A question for the back of the house: How long are you poaching the eggs for the eggs benedict? I’ve ordered take-out a couple of times, and every time I get back to my office, the egg yolk is hard. That’s an Egg McMuffin, not eggs benedict. I’m a home cook. There is heat carry-over. I would err on poaching for three minutes for take-out orders — maybe even two. Stars for lovely staff and prompt order fulfillment.

Excellent brunch spot. Great place to drink coffee and take in street traffic. Fast, friendly service. Very into the steak and eggs. And the huevos rancheros. And pancakes…

Almost a year later, and I still love Sullivan Bistro. Happy to make the trek here from Flatlands, Bklyn. I bring my girlfriend and all of my friends as often as I can. The service is friendly and prompt, the bellinis are great, and the brunch menu is familiar, delicious & comforting. I always get the vegetarian omelette, and it is the tastiest omelette I’ve ever had. Delicious coffee, and I love those little warm pieces of bread drizzled in caramel that are served before the meal.

Eat24 pickup of the Dutch Apple Crêpe(Breakfast) $ 10+tax was allegedly when I arrived, but I actually opened the bag in the establishment for the first time ever because it was so light. Given that ‘dutch apple pancakes’ are mentioned and lauded everywhere, I imagined they’d just be the same as the crêpe I ordered given how unreliable online menus can be and how trendy crepes seem to be(they took the liberty of pricing accordingly, and the thing sucked no matter how you labeled it).

Just saw two mice running around. the manager first said he didn’t see anything, which was a lie, and then said this is New York, and left the bill as is. Worst place ever. Plus the food was bleh. I guess that’s what tiny mice feet on food taste like.

I came here with my aunt who was in from out of town. We were eating dinner at around 4:30pm(I know, I know), so the restaurant was completely deserted, but they were nice enough to seat us. Service was great and I had the ribs, which were delicious. Prices were reasonable enough.

Do you want a solid brunch that doesn’t cost you a goddamn arm and leg for what essentially boils down to food items that cost about $ 4 to buy and less than a half hour to prepare on your own? Well Sullivan’s Bistro has got you covered. Full of old school New York diner character, Sullivan’s Bistro is a refreshing drink of water in a sea of bloated expensive trendy drivel. A reasonably priced brunch with satisfying and straight forward food, a $ 5 mimosa/bellini/bloody mary special and no wait to be seated. That’s really it, simple, nice, tasty. What more do I need to say? Free Hersey’s kisses at the front desk? Well, they got that too. Who knew this sort of place could still exist in West Village… I’m glad it does though.

This is a nice little brunch spot if you need a place to meet family from out of town, but your not sure who’s paying. The food is good, the ambiance is nice — so you don’t seem cheap, but just in case you’re aunt isn’t paying, you’re not stuck with a crazy tab at the end. Great staff, clean bathroom.

Have only been here for breakfast/brunch! DELICIOUS! The food is presented beautifully with little orange curls decorating the plate. Everything tastes good and the portions are normal. It is just enough to feel satisfied and not too much that you are overwhelmed. The blueberries they use in the pancakes are frozen, not fresh. The sausage is a sausage patty. They use thin white shelled eggs(I like to spy on kitchens). Wish they would go organic. It can get rather busy in the summer for brunch. I would recommend making a reservation. Place is small and cute. The benches/booths are a bit old and some cave in when you sit. It would be nice if they would replace them. They could seriously use a lightbulb in the bathroom!!!

I really like this brunch spot, as I have had 2 experiences without the drama of waiting for a table. The location is also not too shabby, supposedly located across the street from where Anna Wintour lives. There is somewhat of a French ambiance though the menu is as American as it gets. I ordered burgers both times, really juicy and served with guacamole plus fries. I believe most people come here for the pancakes. So, I will tell you that portion size is large. Best part? The complimentary ‘bread’ basket that is a serving of freshly baked corn muffins in caramel sauce. On word… yum! If you are wondering, price point is around $ 12 – 16 for brunch. Left with leftovers.

This staple of SoHo has been around since I’ve lived in SoHo. It offers a quaint diner service food that a notch above your typical diner. The small restaurant is comfortable but not too claustrophobic. The service is friendly neighborhood which locals in the area come for brunch/lunch/dinner. The Bloody Mary was pretty good with a touch of spiciness but lacking a celery. The friends omelets looked good. My scramble eggs was fluffy with a side of potatoes and greens. The meal was good but portions were a bit meager. I guess this is where the ‘upscale’ comes into play. We enjoyed our meal and relaxed.

Tasty traditional brunch without the wait or drama. Jane had over an hour wait, and my friend and I were absolutely starving. A quick Unilocal revealed Sullivan’s just a block away. We were seated almost immediately and brought waters and menus. We both got the classic pancake breakfast, one with chocolate chips and the other with blueberry and bananas. They bring all tables a small serving of corn muffin drizzled in caramel sauce, which was a great compliment to my coffee(which came with hot, steamed milk versus cold cream!). Our entrees came out shortly after and I was surprised by the amount of food. It had two nicely sized(and fluffy) pancakes, multiple strips of bacons, not over seasoned home fries, over easy eggs, and an orange garnish. The pancakes were actually extremely fluffy, and easy to cut through with just a fork. The bacon was a little overcooked and the eggs undercooked but nothing major. For only $ 14, I was more than full on decent breakfast food. They take card, offer $ 5 drinks, and have no wait. What else can you ask for from a Saturday brunch spot?

The Boyfriend and I popped in for a quick breakfast since we were in the area. We were seated right away and given some ice-cold water, which was greatly appreciated since it was so hot out! I opted for the banana-blueberry pancakes with honey butter drizzled on top. Each order comes with three fluffy pancakes, which was just enough to fill me up. The banana and blueberry combination gave the pancakes a very fruity and sweet flavor. So delicious! The Boyfriend opted for the Greek Salad, which was very refreshing. The Strawberry Lemonade is also super delicious! It’s the perfect solution to a hot summer day.
