Scamming people is not a smart way to make money. So I walk in with a buy one get one free Subway coupon. It is only valid at participating locations. There was a long line so I asked the gentleman at the register if he honors the coupon. He said yes of course, no problem. So I proceed to wait in line and make my order. By the time I got the to register to pay, the same gentleman says that he cannot take the coupon because it doesn’t apply to premium sandwiches. Nowhere on the coupon does it say that. In fact, it says «…any sandwich». He insist that it is only valid for regular sandwiches and then has the nerve to say if I buy another sandwich he will give me a few drink just to get some more money out of Scamming people is not a smart way to make money. Essentially he tricked me into buying a sandwich only to make up his own rules as to why he won’t honor the coupon. Serves burnt cookies to unknowing innocent customers.
I walk in, get my order of oven roasted chicken breast. The girl doesn’t put on enough jalapenos, so I say put on more. She doesn’t really put that much more (and my sandwich tasted less-​than-​spectacular as a result.) When I get my bag of cookies, sandwich and pickles on the side, I peer into it just to make sure I got everything. The cashier goes, «everything is in there.» So then I get back to my building, eat my sandwich, and they had given me BURNT COOKIES. I absolutely LOVE Subway cookies so when they freaking give me BURNT cookies I am not a happy camper. Those two knew they were giving me burnt cookies which is why he said that and wanted to send me on my way. I value my cookies highly, and this was an utter disappointment.
I love Subway but this particular location is no bueno.
