Not the first time I had been to one, but a first at this location.
Free peanuts while waiting on line for your food. This always makes things easier.
I don’t quite know what the deal is, but when placing my order for a Little Hamburger, I ended up with the regular double patty version. I tried to go smaller on the fries, when I had to repeat myself to get the smaller order.
For some reason, the burger, even though it was a double, was overcooked and dry. There was no ketchup on it, which was not a huge problem, but again, they got my simple order wrong. It was not especially busy, just before noon.
I have had better experiences at other locations, but I wonder about this one.

Their burgers are just great. You don’t get to choose the cook on your burger, and I’m okay with that. All toppings for your burger are free, unlike other burger joints who charge for them. The burger is nice and juicy. I have yet to eat a dry burger from them, probably wont happen.
Their fries are off the chain. Thick and yummy. You can also get them with Cajun powder for added kick. The fries are served on a paper cup which doesn’t look much, but then they add a scoop of extra fries in the bag so there will always be more than what you expect.
Overall, i love five guys. I either go here or shake shack to get a burger fix. No need for those expensive places. This is it!

Came here at 8:30 on a Tuesday night and the service was extremely slow. The employees were fooling around without paying attention to the customers. Not a good experience, but luckily the food always tastes good.

Oh how I love me some five guys burgers!!!
All these new burger places with their special pre-​set burgers don’t compare.
Hands down the best burgers made fresh and don’t even get me started about the yummy fresh never frozen fries!!! They even have malt vinegar like a proper chip shop would have.
I love the service, they are always friendly and happy behind the register and the grill.

The best burger I have ever tasted. They also give you enough fries to keep you going for the whole day! The lines are always big here but they move very quickly and the food is made to order and always fresh. With so many good burger places in NYC this is definitely at the top of my list.

This has been my burger go-​to place when in the mood for a good burger with fries– usually in Queens. The meat is always very fresh and the the overall burger is tasty. I love their fries also because they’re dry and crunchy but not in this particular location– the last time I went here (which I do admit was probably over 3 years ago), they were very greasy but they never fail to be consistently perfect in Queens locations. If you’re looking for a cheap yet freshly delicious burger, this is the place to go!

I absolutely love Five Guys. There’s no need to write about how amazing their burgers are and honestly, how amazing the whole customization aspect of their food is. Btw — note the «All the Way» option, I’m sure you’ll want to go all the way. Their grilled onions and mushrooms make turns the burger from being a burger into being an excellent burger. So, three stars for the food.
But that’s all they get. The line to order isn’t long. Around 12:30, there were maybe five people in front of me when I walked in — what a relief! But then, I’m waiting on the line, my number is 61 and they’ve just called 42. WHAT!?! I probably waited 20 minutes for my food and if you’re craving a burger at this time, Five Guys shouldn’t be your go-​to place. Maybe at any other time when they’re not crowded, but this ain’t too great for the lunch hour.

On a lunch run decided to try Five Guys on 3rd Avenue with the work crew. Easy to read menu lets you pick your toppings, I asked or the bacon burger L, T, O, and little fries, and the cashier yelled 2 patties to the cooks, well you can also get a mini bugger too, which must be one patty?
Waited about 10+ minutes at lunch time, Graso Grill on 48th would have done it in 4. And took my order to one of the tables.
The fries are a little to brown for me compared to Mickey’s D golden color but still good. They not only put your fries in a cup but add extra in your bag. The bugger was well done but still juicy on a fresh bun. Five Guys was good I would not hesitate going back but can’t say I love this place and that it’s the only burger for me.

Pretty damn good. The burgers are typical 5 guys standard, but the actual customer service puts it at the best burger spot in the area. Of course toppings are free but they can also slap on a ton of cheese. Also the soda machines are incredible. Large vanilla diet cokes allllllll day

I like the fast service for food people know and are familiar with. I like the location of this place. The prices remain the same and relatively low. Which is great since it allows for healthy competition with other places. With many other places to eat, Five Brothers stand out with their free peanuts.
Quick service that doesn’t disappoint. You can refill your soda cup with unlimited drinks at the smart soda machines. This place gives you options: Gold’s ice tea or a choice of an array of Pepsi products.
I ordered the vegetarian sandwich. As always it tastes delicious. The fries can taste better. I like the spices they use in them.
You have a dining area. During lunch it gets crowded very easily. Go to this place around 1:30pm during weekdays. You will get a spot to sit and enjoy.
I give this place 3 stars because it looks a bit dirty.

Nothing really special to write about Five Guys. If you want a quick tasty juicy sloppy burger just go to Five Guys and just be mindful that the fries freshly cutt but also are really salty and if you can enjoy sloppiness and alot of salt on your fries you’ll enjoy Five Guys.

Came in one day after work and ordered my usual,” All the way with light A1 and light BBq sauce.” My sandwich came out amazing in about ten minutes or less. Ingredients were super fresh meat was super juicy and the bread toasted to perfection. This is very rare to have the burger be so spectacular from five guys as usually something just doesn’t hold up. It was all women behind the counter and they were very pleasant throughout the few minutes spent ordering and devouring the burger. Will definitely be back !

Let’s get down to it.
Five guys used to be incredible. There used to be some value behind it, in getting a bigger more quality product. However it may just be this location, but I feel like the burgers have gotten smaller. Less toppings are being placed on them and the amount of fries that you get aren’t as much as they used to be. Also the cost of the items has gone up and it’s hard to justify paying what you pay. Almost 20 $ for a double w/​fries and a drink. I almost rather pay half as much to get a basic simple cheeseburger and fries at the place across the street as opposed to going out and finding a five guys to go to anymore. The service was uncaring. Its lost its edge and has become just like anyone else. I’d rather go to Shake Shack.

I know this is supposed to be a sloppy burger joint, but does my meal REALLY need to drain oil like that? It comes to a point where the delicious factor is replaced by feeling guilty because of the abuse you’re inflicting on your body by consuming their products, which is quickly followed by self-​hatred and tears.
Okay, all jokes aside, they REALLY need to cut down on the grease factor and, moreover, make the food cheaper because the quality is definitely not worth the price.

Comment passer 10 jours à New York, sans passer par la case «dégustation de burgers»? Rapidement, nous avons choisi de délaisser les Mc D… et Burger K. Notre petit guide mentionnait Five Guys comme the place to go pour un burger et des frites à tomber.
BINGO: une carte composée de classiques et le choix de ses «toppings». Bref, on compose son burger à la carte. Au final, nous nous sommes régalés (j’ai pris un little burger, et ouf, car le burger standard comprend 2 steaks). Une frite normale pour 2, et nous étions largement rassasiés.
Leurs frites sont vraiment à tomber (Pénélope B disait vrai dans le guide). Five Guys, on l’a testé et on en a redemandé. D’ailleurs, tous les New-​Yorkais rencontrés n’ont fait que le confirmer: «Five Guys, they have the best (burgers)!»

Seguramente la peor hamburguesa que he comido en NYC. No por mala, sino porque en el resto de la ciudad son realmente buenas. Es un sitio de comida rapida que se queda a medio camino de todo. Ni es una buena hamburguesa ni tiene el «encanto» de la comida rapida tipo McDonalds. No puede pasar de 2 estrellas. Eso si, barato es.

Some days you just need grease. I’m talking burger and fried food type grease. I was having one of those days and «luckily» it was raining cats and dogs outside on this day of craving. The only benefit was that the line at Five Guys was likely shorter than normal, but it moves like a well crafted machine regardless. And u can even order your burger online it’s ready when you arrive.
What’s not to love above a burger with everything– well almost everything? Bacon, cheese, ketchup, pickles, mayonnaise, mushrooms. All made fresh as you wait. Yum. And I picked up some of the free peanuts for an afternoon snack when I hit that midday low.
That burger was totally worth the wet pants that had to walk back to work with.

They are so full of it here! WTF, I walk into Five Guys and what do I see? Three guys and one lady! There were NOT five guys. That’s false advertising if you ask me.
However, the place was clean, my 880 calorie cheeseburger was good and the fries were very, very tasty. I am not much of a soda drinker but they had caffeine free Diet Coke on tap. Yes, I’m the guy that eats 1200 calories of burger and fries and then gets a diet soda. But when I do it, it’s charming.
This is a good spot on the East Side.
