Great staff, good food. The short rib toast was fantastic. Pappardelle with duck was indulgent but delicious. Perfect for a cold night. Tuna tartare was citrus-y and refreshing. Some of the dishes were a little underwhelming. Predictable brussels sprouts. Plain salads. But otherwise had a great dinner

Love the vibe of this restaurant in an unexpected locale … seems 8th Street is becoming a cool hub again. It was a busy brunch, and we both had the Pork Belly Hash, which was rich and delicious. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, only downside was that the server didn’t seem to know(or care) if the salad was dressed(dry leaves of mesclun) and when we asked him if he could bring some dressing he said he had to ask. Would love to come back and try the oysters and a meal at another time of day.

First off, service is the best from the host to our servers everyone was great. Our waiter did a great job explaining the menu and selling it and also very attentive. Ordered the oysters which was delish! They clean it well there. I did have the house special noodles which I wasn’t a fan off because of the texture of the pasta. I prefer mind aldente! My friend ordered the steak and it was mediocre. I would come back to try out the rest of the menu because of how great the service was.

Tried this place on a recommendation from a good friend of mine. I wanted to impress my date but keep it low key/casual at the same time. First, it was a last minute date on a Friday night and we were able to be seated immediately and in a great location. Nice décor, lit dimly but too bad with great music playing at the right level. Second, the service was top notch — there are so many good menu items we had trouble deciding but our waiter John was awesome with his recommendations. Third, the food — we decided to share a few items since everything looked so appetizing and every single dish we had was amazing! The wine was great as well, reasonably priced and good quality for a bottle. Lastly, and I’m not at all a dessert fan but the doughnuts are out of this world! I’d definitely be back and my date was very happy with our evening. This place far exceeded expectations. Definitely try it out, it will not disappoint!

We held a private event for 23 people at The Greenwich Project in January and I am still receiving feedback from the guests on how fantastic the experience was. My guests complimented profusely the décor, food, wine, music, and hospitality of the space. They were all charmed and delighted, and everything about the arrangement with the management and staff was a pleasure.

I came in hoping to enjoy a cappuccino and snack at the bar with a friend on Saturday at 1:45pm. Not the best idea because it was still prime brunch hour, and I could barely hear myself think in this place, much less what my friend was trying to say. I admit that the cappuccino was perfect, a dark espresso with a lovely heap of foam on top, but I couldn’t bear the noise long enough to order anything to eat. Then the bill comes, and it’s a $ 6 cappuccino… Way overpriced, super sceney, and way too loud. This is where I would come if i wanted to wear my flashiest most expensive outfit to eat with a date whose voice I hate and who would pay for my overpriced pancakes.

Leaving 3 stars really upsets me because I must say the food here is amazing but the service is awful! Last Saturday night I had a girlfriends birthday party here. We we were a group of 10. the reservation called for 7:45 but it took a bit of time for everyone to get there. We were finally seated around 8:15. At the same time we were seated another big group was also seated. We started ordering our cocktails when the waiter then informed us that the bar was backed up. We said ok and proceeded to order. The waiter disappeared and didn’t come back for some time. We didn’t get to order till almost 9. Now I’m getting a bit frustrated as I still haven’t received my drink.(the group behind us orders slightly after us) We get Our cocktails and decided it was best to order our next round immediately based on the time frame. This in itself is frustrating this place is not cheap and here I am rushing to order like I’m trying to beat the end of happy hour. Finally our appetizers come out. Everything we orders was delicious I got the Tuna tartare and was happy with it. Everyone seemed to be enjoying there starters also. When the apps were finished we finally got our drinks again and the next order went in. It’s about 10 pm at this point and I have to call the bar next door that we reserved a table out to push our reservation from 10:30 to 11 pm which is absurd as again dinner was called for 7:45! As we are waiting for our entrees I see that the group who has ordered after us is receiving there entrees. I’m so irritated at this point and I see one of my friends get up and inquire about our food. They say it will be out shortly and provide us with a round of shots. Finally the food comes out and everything is delicious. I had the scallops and tried all the sides which were divine. I was a little annoyed that when I inquired about the Brussels sprouts we ordered our waiter informed us that he forgot to mention they were sold out. He tried to offer another side asap but at that point I was over it. We ordered the beignets to sing happy birthday and then asked for the check to run to the bar. We didn’t walk out till after 11pm. Needless to say I won’t be back. 4 stars for food 0 for service

This is an excellent spot for brunch. The upstairs is quite, downstairs lively and crowded. Take your pick, but whatever, the food is quite good. Lots of variety. Good baked goods as well. Good for those on a diet too.

I meant to write a review the last time we were there and had a wonderful experience but just remembered today when we went and had yet another wonderful experience! We went for brunch both times with our 8 month old baby. They were beyond accommodating. The food was great both times. Bloody Mary’s were fantastic. The coffee is SO good. And the service is always prompt and friendly. I’ve also been for dinner a few times and had delicious food every time. On top of it all, it is a really cool space.

+ Dinner took almost an hour and a half to show up + Medium steak showed up very well done — valiantly chewing a leathery piece as I type this. See attached picture. Only able to swallow with water + Odd policy & brusque waitstaff«no you can’t get an egg with that vegetarian dish, the chef is very strict» + We couldn’t get any cocktails because they had no ingredients«because of the party downstairs» + Had to call repeatedly to get an initial glass of water + Not everyone at the table got bread or an appetizer plate Not coming back

Came in specifically for oyster happy hour which are $ 1. They have a wonderful selection of east coast oysters all for a dolla! Great deal, especially paired with $ 7 hh wines. I had the Chard and it was amazing! If you check in on Unilocal you also get a free order of the beignets which actually are freaking awesome with these two great sauces! I will be back for hh and a full dinner next time!

Beautiful restaurant with incredible food and a great bar! What more could you ask for? DONOTMISS the Tallegio Croutons(amazing fried cheese with truffle honey) and save room for donuts! You will thank me(or the chef!). The menu changes but I have enjoyed the cold salmon app, the Salmon main dish, the risotto and the scallops. Everything was spectacular! I also love the décor– upstairs has more of a funky look with its pop art, and both are great places to sit. Check it out!

Very good ambiance. Came here on a Monday night with a friend. The service was very nice and we ordered oyster and wine happy hour to start with. The ink pasta was also good. The highlight of the night is the filled donut with chocolate and caramel dipping, sooooo delicious!!!

Great spot with a cool concept executed well. The munchkin, GF and I met former NYC based friends – now Philly based – for an impromptu early dinner. We arrived post brunch just as the kitchen was closing to prepare for dinner. The cool thing about Greenwich Project is that they offer $ 1 oysters and a discounted by the glass wine price during the lull moment between brunch and dinner. We ordered a bottle of California Pinot Noir. I don’t recall the winery. For disclaimer purposes I was almost completely congested and I had just eaten an oyster laden with lemon juice and hot sauce. I sniffed and tasted the wine pour and it seemed fine. However, about half a bottle later one of our friends correctly insisted that the wine was ‘corked’. The manager agreed. The replacement bottle of the same wine was significantly better. We ordered a bunch of stuff in addition to the oysters and everything was great. I juts can’t remember what we ordered so I suggest you visit yourself and try everything. Tip: Check-in on Unilocal and you get a freebie order of the greatest donuts every known to man. At least that what the munchkin thought…

Lovely time overall. Had dinner here about 2 weeks ago, Tuesday night around 9. I was greeted by the manager(or host? European man) who was gracious and directed me to the bar as I was waiting for a friend. My friend and I decided to eat at the bar. The bartender was polite but not very warm(really the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars). We ordered oysters(fresh and delicious accompanied with a great mignonette), tuna tartare, steak tartare, and the steamed egg. Presentation was on point. The steamed egg which has pork in the dish was an absolute favorite! Steak tartare was good albeit underwhelming. A quail egg would have up-ed it’s quality in my opinion. The cooper square cocktail is highly recommended! Very refreshing and balanced. Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes at this lovely space.

Review is just for drinks experience only. I had the Morton Street drink, which is brandy based with lemon and ginger. So crisp and refreshing. Perfect blend of flavors. Ambience and service top notch. Even though we didn’t have a reservation and were only having drinks, they were more than willing to seat us. Can’t wait to come back and try the food, every dish that came by looked delish.

Delicious food and neighborhood gem, lovely old world décor and great classic rock soundtrack. Great whole dorade and Amish chicken, delicious crispy Brussels sprouts with horseradish cream and sautéed Swiss chard. Snd as neighborhood folks, they treated us do well, with a free apple and Manchego starter, olives instead of homemade biscuits for my gluten-allergic mother, plus a sorbet for her instead of the yummy beignets.

Whoa!!! Can’t say enough about this spot. Food is extremely good and the drinks are awesome. Staff is professional and really down to earth. Great small dining area upstairs and down. Love the bar and the amount of spirits to choose from. With that said Chad the mixologist is insane, he is on his game period point blank. This cat knows the food menu inside out and makes phenomenal drinks. You guys have a gem with him at the helm. Good restaurant with great service and food!!!

I thought this place was pretty good, they have dollar oysters from 5 – 7 on weekdays and happy hour wine! We had two dozen different kinds of oysters which tasted very fresh and you could actually tell the difference between the oysters unlike a few other places I have been. We also tried the small places of guacamole, whipped feta ~~ SO delicious def recommend and the risotto balls. We also had an order of steak tartare which I thought was decent, not amazing. Also since I checked in on Unilocal we got a free order of beignets which were sooooo tasty and an awesome plus! I would go back to try some of the main dishes and def good for the oyster happy hour.

This place was good overall and great in aspects. My cocktail, the Jane street, was great. The warm bread rolls and garlic butter were great. My entrée was incredibly«okay». I picked the three small plates for $ 21. The beef pimenton was okay but nothing special. The onion ring with pork belly was very good. The open faced pork sandwich was not good at all. It was supposedly fried pulled pork but it was basically fried… Something… I hardly found any meat in my sandwich. Not to worry. My fiancé had a cheese(I forget what it’s called), watermelon, and arugula sald and it was unreal. Apparently the cheese is made in house. I couldn’t get enough. We checked in and got the Unilocal check on beignets. TODIEFOR! These are not your ordinary bland café Du monde treats. These are perfectly cooked custard filled donuts with white chocolate and caramel sauces. So good. Take advantage. The staff was friendly and kept checking on us(we actually thought it was a new restaurant or something since they came by so frequently). So while I recommend none of the«bites» menu my overall experience was good enough to warrant a four since the rest of the food(and drink) was that good.

A friend had an engagement party here and I was lucky enough to attend. It was nice. The space is small(or intimate as they say). The décor is glam, sophisticated, European but simple all at the same time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great(we had passed apps) … I recommend the risotto balls if that’s on their regular menu. The drinks/bar was flowing and the staff had no problem doing on the fly shots and dealing with us. Honestly it was simply elegant and i would return and have a meal here. It’s a great space for a party /celebration like this.
