I know it rains alot here, but can we get some smiles. Looks like a sad place to have coffee. I hope it was just that day. I will try it again since the coffee was good

This startbucks is probably the worst out of 4 of them within 3 – 4 blocks of each other. I have had employees multiple times give me what I did not order… and they did it on purpose. Most common: Order a Blonde Roast –they have to make it from scratch… they just gave me regular big olé batch Pike Place bc of laziness This morning — ordered a Medium roast and watched as dark roast was poured into the cup. I asked, and they said it was medium roast not knowing I saw.(was it an accident, or did you run out, or why not let me order something else… etc) Come on.

This Starbucks is way too congested. The space here is incredibly small. The set up is not very useful considering the limited space. Upon entrance, you’ll notice that there is a single large, very wide, table in the center of the Starbucks. Typically you’ll find small tables where people can enjoy their coffee privately, but here it is more of a boardroom setup where strangers sit side by side. It is probably best to grab and go. The staff here are kind and they serve a good frappacino.

Generally this location is excellent. However there is a very tall guy there who seems confused about how to make even the basic drinks, and responds to my attempts at friendliness with blank stares or outright hostile facial expressions.

Service is great, staff are nice, drinks and food are all very good but does the music have to be so GODDAMNFREAKINGLOUD!!! it’s not music you’d expect loud like rock or hip hop. It’s cheesy Lite FM music cranked all the way up to 11. When I’m trying to relax or recharge, I don’t want Carly Simon, Sarah McLaughlin, or Michael Bolton screaming right in my damn ear. Is this their way of preventing overcrowding by making anyone who’s not deaf want to leave the second their latte is in hand? I have headphones on blasting my music and earplugs in and it’s still not enough to block out«the best of the 80s 90s and today.» Think I’ll give myself a break from Kenyan blend and bistro boxes for a while.

Yes this is my go-to place for working/studying while enjoying my coffee(hence the Duchess of Starbucks). There are wall sockets everywhere and a lot of space and tables to work on. The only downside would be the baristas here. They aren’t friendly at all

The staff is super friendly and very quick. The place is well kept and clean. It’s very convenient as it’s close to the subway, the gym, and other local business.

Bottom line: jovial staff, a huge communal table and lots of individual window seating make this a good spot for just drinks or study. Just beware rush hour near the 96 train stop!

I am not a fan of the big guy who makes the drinks. He doesn’t wear gloves and he talks too much. I also saw him taking shots of different things while he was making the drinks for people. He couldn’t even decipher the different starbucks abbreviations for the drinks he was making. The counter people are nice and very efficent. They were also helping him out by preparing all of the cups for him which he also did not realize. Everything was a discussion. Just do your job dude! There was a hold up because this guy was a chatterbox. I am glad that I didn’t get sick from the drink I got which was the caramel flan frappucino. Tasted like artificial caramel though kind of like those too sweet caramel werther candies. I am not a regular coffee drinker but even if I was I don’t think that I would come here that often because of the guy who makes the coffee, I got my $ 1 reusable plastic cup from here which gives you .10 cents off every time you use it at the store but the lids are very hard to snap back in. I use it as a cup for the office to make tea and with the tea bag the top is very tight and makes it very hard to squeeze back on which is a potential hazard if you have hot liquid inside. I did notice that they now offer cake pops from la boulangerie and a bunch of other pastries but they look very small. There are many other starbucks you can go to besides this one in a 3 block radius. This one is not that great.

Went last night. Go here often. Sometimes slow but last night Ashley and the crew were right on things. I usually get cold but decided on a hot skinny vanilla latte. It was perfect. It is noisy but that is because it is always busy. The seating areas are small and when people are alone they should make room for another person who is alone. A lady did for me so we could both use computers for a while. You don’t own the table so please don’t act like it or look offended when someone wants to sit. Just saying! Like this location and staff

Very small place. Not enough space between seats. Super crowded. Btw, their turkey bacon sandwiches suck.

Close to the subway station, and very convenient. Enough numbers of seats and there is a restroom too if you need to use! :) A couple of outlets if you need to use your laptop or charge your phone.

I’m not a Starbucks fan, but I like the employees here and that its not as freezing as the typical starbucks. Plenty of outlets. Kinda small and not the best atmosphere here but not as cold a the standard Starbucks which is a perk for a California girl like me. There is plenty of seating but its all barstool seating or tiny little tables with uncomfortable chairs. Again, not the best atmosphere, feels like it was a small fast food joint converted. The baristas are nice though, so its a good quick stop in Starbucks.

Barista: Hey, honey, how can I help you? Me: Hi! I’ll have a Tall iced skim chai, please. Barista: …no. Me: PLEEEEEASE? I’m so thirsty. Barista: Well… okay. If you insist… Me: I appreciate your benevolence, kind sir. — - — - Points for cheeky barista /customer banter with a smile and understanding of each other’s sarcasm. Points for me having my drink in, literally, 20 seconds. Points OFF for not filling my cup up all of the way. If I’m knowingly wasting just shy of $ 4 bucks on milk, spicy sugar syrup, and a shit-ton of ice, at least fill my cup up to where it touches the lid.

Okay nutty tooth-grinding man. I’m not getting into a fight with you over the outlet. In fact, I did your crazy ass a favor. My mini surge protecter just turned this two plug outlet into 4. So chill out. So… this Starbucks needs more outlets. It has lots of cramped seating but unless you have a new PC with a nice fresh battery(my 4 y.o. PC does not), you will not get much done. Forget streaming an entire movie, which surprisingly the Wi-Fi connection here allows you to do. Why would you stream a movie at Starbucks, you ask? Hey. Are you gonna pay my cable bill??? Didn’t think so.

The closest Starbucks to my office, and right by the main entrance for the ½/3 at 96th Street so you know it gets crazy crowded. If you get there when an express train unloads, get ready to possibly stand out the door, on the street. Sometimes their staff is super nice, and sometimes they are just… not. Not necessarily nasty, just not as nice. You never know. Once every one in the store had apparently called out and only one guy was there to man the ordering and drink making, and it was unfortunately not a pretty sight. Like I said, it’s a busy location. In terms of size, it seems fairly average, and they just remodeled it after Christmas 2011. Meh. I don’t go every day, but sometimes if I have time I’ll hit up the one on 93rd for shits and giggles because it’s bigger and presumably less crowded.

Pretty standard, efficient Starbucks. It’s definitely crowded with customers, but the people who work here keep the area clean and pleasant. I wish there was a bit more space to stand in line and wait, for the line quickly folds back on itself and gets awkward.
