Starbucks

This Starbucks is small, cramped, there is a lack of seating, lack of outlets (because they use the rings now but a few outlets would be nice!) and NO BATHROOM!
I can’t even sit down to enjoy my drink even if I wanted to.
The only thing convenient about this location is that it is right across the street from Fulton St train station.

Firstly, I was already mad at them because they did not have Christmas blend the day it came out. However, if you know me, you know my 1 star rating is not for a one time offense. Nope it’s for when I went in today for an afternoon coffee run. The place was pretty dead, it was about 3pm on a Friday. I walk up to the counter, one barista is standing at the cashier, texting on her phone… I believe her name is Raff? texting away, I mean I have to get back to work dude so I just said my order… she does not blink an eye… texting… texting some more. I say — I am sorry, but is this register open here? She said, yeah give me a second. Writes on two cups and tells the other barista to make the drinks because her friends are coming and they just texted her the order. Damn Raff, I guess I did not know this starbucks ran like this, if I had the barista’s personal number, I could just text them my order! nice.
Finally, I told her my order… and maybe I am just being petty but I really felt like she took forever to pour my Christmas blend, because she poured my tall coffee and after that poured a venti for who knows who? Finally I got my drink… and that’s where my 1 star review comes from. Never stepping foot at this Starbucks again… I mean, not like that’s a problem, there is one at every corner here.

Probably the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The girl at the register was not listening to a word we were saying. First we ordered one breakfast sandwich, a protein bistro box and a cheese Danish. We specifically asked her not to warm up the Danish, but she still did. Then we ordered one tall hot white mocha and one tall hot caramel macchiato. After standing waiting for our drinks for 15 minutes (literally 15 minutes) we finally realized the girl on register didn’t even write our cups for us to put on the bar. So the barista working the bar didn’t have any drinks to make for us. So we told the girl at the register that we’re still waiting for our tall white mocha and tall caramel macchiato. It took the girl on bar probably 5 minutes before she even started making our drinks, even though we were before everyone else in the store. Then the girl on bar says to us «here is your tall mocha» even though it was supposed to be a WHITE mocha, because again the girl on the register wasn’t listening when we were talking to her. So then the girl on bar remade the white mocha, about 10 minutes later. I work as a barista, and I get that it’s stressful when you’re busy. But if hundreds of other people can do it, then she should be able to as well. Your number one priority when you’re on register is to listen to the customers. And she did not do that. All in all it took us about 25 – 30 minutes until we got our drinks.

Drinks are okay but as good as other locations.
If you bring your own cup they still use one of theirs on your to label it witch defeats the purpose of bring one. Chain wide they have been encouraging bringing your own mug to reduce waste. This location is not on board.

WORST STARBUCKS EVER — 25 min wait and came out with wrong drink lol. Woulda been faster for me to go back there, look up how to make the drink, and make it myself. Do yourself a favor and walk to the one down the block — it will end up being MUCH quicker.

Smaller narrow layout and not much seating overall at this Starbucks. Only a few tables and chairs, and a counter along the window. Definitely not a location to bring your laptop and spend hours being a wifi hog.
Yet, the staff was friendly and got my drink order correct and with a smile. So no complaints here when I dropped in last night after a Unilocal event a few blocks away to get my caffeine fix.
My major pet peeve is that there is NO BATHROOM here! WTF???
Anyone patronizing Starbucks porta potties should have access to a pooper! After filling my face last night at the Unilocal resto event I really needed to drop the kids off at the pool!
Not too much fun carrying them to where I live on the UES to ensure a proper burial at sea. Not fun at all.

Service is hit or miss. There are times that this location is properly staffed and times where it is a nightmare to get service. It needs to be more consistent with the service. Overall friendly baristas.

This location is not spacious but there are some counter seating .
Service is just like other location.

Wifi is slow, but the location is much more vacant than the other places nearby. There are some other Starbucks that way to full, so was glad this one had seating available.

Though I have many coffee shops to chose from where I work near Fulton Street, I always prefer to come to this Starbucks. Not just cause I’m lazy and this is right up the block from my office, but because I have been a Starbucks customer for years and mostly because the staff here is fantastic! Rhona, Kent, Vlad, Chris, Kahlee (sp?), Joel, Asia, and basically everyone who has ever helped me here has been so friendly and has made my beverage excellent. The management should also be praised for their work here on having such a great staff.
The only negatives are some of the «customers» who use up the few seats/​table spots to charge their phones or set up shop with their laptops as if it’s their office and who don’t spend any scratch here. Come on people — there are actual paying customers who would like to sit and enjoy their beverage! Also there is no bathroom here which can be inconvenient, however this can also be seen as a plus as it keeps the annoying people away who don’t buy anything but hog up crucial toilet time.
Great staff — love this Starbucks!

Small location. Visited twice, line moved fast both times and the staff were unusually friendly in a good way.

Starbucks in Manhattan are mostly all alike and this location is no exception.
Things to remember:
–Always «SPELL» your name to the nice person who will scold themselves to give you your «double shot, venti, machiado, with foam, etc… non-​fat»
–Smile
–Have your cash or card ready when you get to the counter
–If your drink is popular be ready for some Hunger Games «Cornucopia» type of battle at the pick up station.
–Once the drink has been retrieved… PLEASE MOVE TO HE SIDE so that I don’t have to wiggle around you for my caffine… I’m cranky enough as it is!

Just found this place! I think it’s closer to me than the other starbucks by the other building of my college.
Kind barista who gave me a sort of coupon where if I buy 5 of their holiday coffees, I get a free grande drink!
Also they have very quick service. Will come back for sure

Great location, cozy Starbucks, no restrooms, friendly barista, nice music. Now enjoy your pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot of espresso.

Although this is a tiny Starbucks, it is in a great locale in the Financial District and was a staple to my mornings on a recent visit to NYC. The lines are long, but move quickly. The staff are on top of their game and get the drinks right every time.
If you are going during peak time in the mornings, take advantage of the outdoor seating area just in front of the Starbucks. It is a much nicer way to start off the morning, rather thank stalking the possibility of a seat opening inside.

Fastest Starbucks in FIDI! Servers and cashiers are nice unlike my building where stinkeye is the standard.

Still a great spot!

I walked to a local food place nearby the day before we went here, but this was right across from our hotel and after repeated poor experiences with the hotel staff, this was an absolute joy. We walk it, it’s packed, but when we get to the counter the cashier is happy and greets us with a big smile. Nothing like a good mood to cheer yours right up!
And of course, the coffee was delightful, and the wait time was nil to none!

There are three Starbucks within a 3 block radius of my office. This location is the furthest from me, and by far my favorite. I go out of my way just to pick up coffee from this location.
The barristas here are so friendly. Their great attitude and efficient flow are impressive. They offer cheerful lines, such as «Have an AWESOME day!» that really do put a little extra pep into my step. And they never get my name wrong when they write it on the cup (I’ve gotten some very interesting interpretations of my name at the other two locations).
