I order via the app to avoid the horrendous line. Perfect soy matcha latte every time. And fast! I think they give priority to app orders, but not sure. I go to this location every time I’m in Rock Center subway.

This place is extremely dirty and unorganized and the staff here are questionable. I thought I was in a circus the way this place was running. There was one employee Ricky, who was making bird calls and yelling and extremely loud. The baristas are incredibly rude and don’t even make quality drinks there. Not one«thank you» or «have a nice day» and my drink tasted very weird. It was VERY unpleasant. I remember asking where were the straws and an extremely rude barista name Julie didn’t even look me in the eye she just shrugged me off and pointed to the straws and didn’t even bother to look at me as if I was some type of insect. You should NOT treat you’re customers like this no matter how busy. Horrible Customer service! Not to mention the dirty store itself and they didn’t even have anything when I went. Everything I tried asking for was either a «sorry we ran out» or «we have no more». Starbucks needs to fix that store as soon as possible. The store by the train station is way more pleasant than this location.

Terrible!!! Not one person in line, 3 cashiers just standing there and not one addressed me and said hello. I walked up and showed a picture of a drink I seen on Facebook and ask«can you make this» and the extremely rude cashier named Michelle says, «oh you too» –_– she was the main one staring at me with disgust as I waited to be attended to, the other cashier proceeds to have a convo with me, and sends me off to the end to pick up my drink. Long story short you should never ever speak to a customer like that, if you feel the need to do so you need a new job my dear. The drink was great, sucks that the customer service was shit.

I was waiting for a good 10 minutes before I decided to leave without ordering. There was only one register open on a Sunday afternoon(around 5:30 pm) while there was only one person in front of me being helped. And yet, they couldn’t get to the next customer(myself) after 10 minutes. This speaks volumes about their level of incompetence and inefficiency especially given the fact that there were 6 baristas behind the counter. But then again, they’re not exactly the smartest group of people to begin with. So I went to the other Starbucks by the subway entrance which only took me less than 2 minutes to get my order and the baristas were more pleasant too! They should be ashamed of themselves for being grossly incompetent and obviously overpaid.

This location particularly sucks. The rudeness of the baristas is appalling, but I suspect because of the copious amounts of tourists that are in this area are probably wearing on the employees. The tourists wear on me! I’ve gotten coffee that was basically lukewarm and should not have been served. I avoid going here and will go instead to the other Starbucks in the subway terminal as the employees are better.

Manager — I’m totally disgusted by the rudeness of the baristas at this location. What ever happened to saying«Hello, how are you?» — taking the order — and then saying«Have a nice day». Instead you’re just screamed at «NEXT!» — and no greeting whatsoever. Ghetto, rude, self entitled employees. It’s infuriating working in this building(30 Rock) and coming to this location sometimes more than once a day and being treated so rudely. Kindness is EASY, people. Is your barista job SOHARD — life is SOHARD — that you can’t even say a simple«Hello» and«Thank You» to your customers? You have the EASIESTDAMNJOBINTHEWORLD. Please! SO. RUDE. I realize this is big city culture and it seems no one has time or energy for pleasantries, but come on. Your customers keep you in business. We are the reason you get a paycheck. Act accordingly.

I know I know. Of all the coffee places in greater Manhattan, I am reviewing a Starbucks? Ludicrous! But I must I must give this Starbucks a review for how fast the line moves. As I am about to hesitate to join because of the length… poof, it’s my turn already. I usually order brewed coffee so no waiting time involved, but at times when I’ve ordered non brewed drinks it’s also been relatively fast. The staff here are also very nice.

This Starbucks is located on the concourse level facing east, the same way as the main entrance to 30 Rock. I like this Starbucks for the simple fact that their wifi works very well. It’s a great place to sit down and relax being that NYC and Rockefeller Center is busy place and there’s a place you can sit, get wifi and just enjoy albeit for a short time. There’s 2 seating areas for this location, one on either side of the counter itself with stools and tables with chairs.

Small place, squished in. My drink did not taste good, but I’d already left before tasting it because it’s so small in there and just wanted to get out. I didn’t even finish it

Starbucks needs to decide what to do with this location. They are sending out conflicting messages. For example, there used to be two separate seating areas that were marked for customers only. Now, one is practically shut down and the signs that said customers only are gone. This means that every foreign tourist uses the area as a base camp especially for Skype calls and charging up the iPhone. Oh, and for the love of God, please stay away with your damn cheeseburger. There’s nothing that ruins the taste of coffee like the«fumes» of just-broiled meat. Suggestions: bring the Starbucks Express concept from Wall Street here at least during the morning rush and at Christmas. Make the seating area closed without a Starbucks Card. Either stop free wifi or dramatically increase the bandwidth. Most of the time it’s so slow, I’m using my own MiFi device for which I am paying. Some of the crew are very nice; others think that making you a beverage is at best an inconvenience. Starbucks Corporation, please fix this place.

The service here is appalling. I was shocked my their rudeness. My breakfast sandwich was ice cold and instead of them apologizing for it, I was told I ate too many bites for something that was too cold. I am a Starbucks lover, but I won’t be back to this one

Starbuck’s is like one of my best friend that never lets me down. It’s always been there for me with the same high standard quality. The only difference is maybe the speed and service, but product wise it’s great! Mind you I’ve visited Starbuck’s in many worldwide locations. My favorite? It’s hard to pick one. I usually randomly select between Caramel Macchiato, Café Mocha, Very Bery Hisbiscus, Pumpkin Spiced Late, Caramel Frapuccino, Green Tea Late, and oh definitely PIKE!

This Starbucks is VERY busy being in the financial district, but they sure know how to run an effective operation. The line moved very quick, the drink was made correctly with friendly service. The location is set up with a good traffic flow pattern to ease with the crowds. This is a good Starbucks to visit if you need your coffee fix, but keep in mind NYC has many other great coffee shops that are not national so be sure to try those out as well.

Before I begin, I must qualify this review by saying that I visited at 9AM on a Saturday morning when this Starbucks is not at all busy so everyone is relaxed and pretty much stress free. That said, they did not have to be extra friendly, but they were! I had a coffee(and my free refill). It tasted like Starbucks coffee(wonder why?) The food looked good but I did not taste any. I bet it tasted like Starbucks food! I am sure when you get impatient and sometimes rude commuters who work in midtown rushing you on a weekday morning, the line mood is(as others have suggested in their reviews) different(for good reason), but my experience here was great!

This Starbucks looks like a madhouse, especially around Christmas time. The lines are slow(40 minutes wait) even at 10pm on Christmas day. There are 7 employees working but the Christmas burnout must have gotten to them because they are moving slow with production, modest pace for payment, and slow for line distribution. I feel bad for the employees but annoyed a cup of sugary whipped cream laden joe costs so much time. The drink production also had too much ice in the frappaccino.

I really love this Starbucks! The personnel was very friendly and passionate about their jobs(as quite always on SB’s =). The coffees were made fast and they were delicious. They also put a special flavour in my coffee on my request =)) Especially the Oak meal was such a delicious piece of cake, and cost only 1,25 $ !! The café was tidy and really calm though we were in Rockefeller center and it was Monday evening?(Or because of that?) There were already some Christmas products on sale that helped to rise the warm atmosphere. Also the gloomy lights made the atmosphere very special!

Avoid during the morning rush, the lunch rush, the after work rush. Later in the evening is usually the best, especially during the winter when you can bring your coffee to go and move to the public seating area for a closet window view of the tourist-attracting skating rink. This location now has better redesigned customers-only seating areas. Still not a lot of seating but it’s definitely more gorgeous than the previous incarnation. The new design is sophisticated, with darker woods and chic lighting. Tips: 1) they have wifi 2) the have a few outlets to charge your cellphone or laptop(they get full fast though) 3) for men, they don’t have a private bathroom but the concourse level has one. Go past the Swarovski store and make a right at ‘Wichctaft. Not sure where the women’s bathroom is though. Sorry

Tourists beware! This is easily the slowest Starbucks location in the world. Even for drip coffee(that is already brewed!) we found ourselves waiting upwards of 10 minutes for our orders to be processed, paid for, and delivered. If you have some place to be and are thinking about grabbing a coffee here, just know that you will be late. One good note: On a particularly busy day, one employee made it her mission to find me a seat and evicted anyone who hadn’t purchased something from Starbucks. It was nice to have a place to sit down and I appreciated her standing her ground and making sure that paying customers got the attention they deserve.

hahahahahaha C for Clean? C for Careful? or C for how the hell does a coffee place that serves microwave only food possibly get a C rating? How honest-to-God terribly managed/cleaned does this place really have to be to earn that wonderful sign? C for Dunkin Donuts!
