Don’t go in there with a camera unless you want to be threatened with the cops. Manager Eric was rude and did not know company rules about photography which only apply to the media which I am not. Besides, I was not taking pictures. I also lost a Samsung charger in the process. I’m going to the competition. Please improve your customer service.

I was looking for a place to do some work today and wanted to get a coffee. I read all the reviews and was a little leary about this Starbucks because of the reviews however, it turned out to be a nice place with friendly workers. The only dig would be a lot of people come in to use the bathroom and there is a line most of the time.

Worst Starbucks to date. It’s the holiday season and I’m here to get my bonus star rewards. Today’s offer is 4 stars for a lunch item. The catch is that it needs to be at a participating store. So I go in and carefully select my lunch item a turkey and havarti sandwich. I go to the register and inquire if they are participating. The cashier has no idea what I’m talking about. I show him the email and again explain. Still a blank look. So I go ahead and order anyway hoping that I’ll get the stars. Afterwards I head down to the coffee receiving end to pick up my mobile drink order. This of course isn’t even ready. Now I’d understand if the store was busy and I had just made the order a few minutes prior but neither was the case. I had ordered 15 minutes ago and no one was in line. 3 baristas and no one had noticed that a ticket was sitting waiting for processing. I had to inform the barista who was standing in front of the machine that my ticket was waiting there.(It clearly had my name on it) She took the order and look perplexed which makes no sense given that everything is clearly written on it. She proceeds to make it and I’m now watching intently so that I’m ready to grab it. She pours the wrong milk and almost uses the wrong syrup. I had to stop her both times. So to sum it up: Baristas aren’t observant of orders and have no clue about the holiday star point system. Recommendation: send back to training.

0⁄2 I live in the neighborhood, but when I decide to ‘treat’ myself to Starbucks I generally stop by the Starbucks where I work. Figure now that there’s mobile app for ordering — might as well stop in here on the way. BADIDEA. First visit: I used the Starbucks mobile pay app to order — it’s been great at the Starbucks by work, the one in soho, the list goes on. Here, I waited for 20 minutes. Twenty minutes. My bet was they didn’t bother turning on the machine that day, because I had to tell them they still hadn’t provided me my drink. Second visit: They forgot the mocha syrup in my salted caramel mocha(the thing I ordered on visit 1) I of course didn’t discover it until I got to work, so I ended up just dumping it out. Each one of these drinks was $ 5.25 Good waste of my 10.50. Never again.

Terrible Starbucks. Maybe the worst I’ve ever been in. Line for bathroom of people who haven’t even bought anything to eat or drink. I genuinely need a place to go throw up right now and I am OUTOFLUCK at this chain which is usually my safe haven. Will probably return at some point though.

One of the least busy Starbucks I’ve been to in the city, yet the staff never quite seems to have it together. Today, I ordered a drip coffee and it was not hot at all. When I went back to let someone know, I noticed that the red light was blinking on ALLFOUR coffee urns. As a former partner, and Starbucks shift-lead, I know that those lights should never be blinking. If they are, the coffee has been sitting there way longer than It should have been. I like this location, but am considering trying MUDD. It’s a short walk away.

I love @Starbucks coffee, but I come to work, and when the wifi is a horrid struggle, I won’t stay. Glad I didn’t get a drink here before I found that out.

The quality is of course Starbucks(which I think is being given less credit than it deserves!!), but the guys who work at this particular café are really doing a great job. They are friendly and always serve me with a smile. I really like them :-)

only one barista working on a Sunday when a long line of customers were waiting, and she was taking her sweet time slowly making the orders. SLOWAF. thank goodness i don’t need to frequent this particular store.

Although they closed up at 10, they close their bathrooms around nine to clean up. I’m not sure if that is a good idea when they are after all serving drinks. However, they do have a good amount of seating in comparison to the many mini Starbucks in Manhattan.

One of my fav spots on the weekdays when I’m «WFH». Pros: –SUPER fast wifi. Unlike most other sbux, this store’s wifi is provided by Google. –Clean and pretty layout. –Good sized patio for summer coffee sipping Cons(only on weekends): –good luck finding a seat. –the # of people in line for the bathroom is what you’d expect at a club.

When I came in, I overheard the manager telling one of the baristas how to clean the bathroom after she had just sprayed it. Two hours later, the bathroom is still closed. I asked her if they were going to finish cleaning it and she said yes, soon. I get that Starbucks have become public bathrooms in NY but come on! Seems like they are just being lazy about not wanting to keep it open and clean!

There are Starbucks close the bathrooms and this is the representative. Saw them shut many many times before. Personally I think that Coffee shops without toilets available are like criminals. Drink coffee in freezing air and not pee? I am sure they hold it too, eh?

I was in the East Village and needed a coffee fix and saw the gleaming sign. The inside space is awesome. I could see spending some time there. On this Sunday afternoon, it was not crowded at all. It’s a cross, when I went, between young professional and hipster — but that’s the East Village now, isn’t it? The coffee was well made. There was a lot of space. My only concern would be the bathrooms. Just avoid them. Like a cross between Greyhound bathroom and an airplane’s restroom. That’s probably fairly standard in Manhattan, but don’t bring that expectation to this Starbucks. Leave that aside, and you’ll enjoy the ambiance and ability to hang out in a chair for a while.

I can’t believe I’m saying this… but I don’t mind this particular Starbucks one bit. Sure it’s the same crappy, burnt coffee you get at every Starbucks, but it’s one of the few places in East Village you can but a $ 2 cup of coffee, grab a seat, and chill out for hours on end without some hipster barista with 16 gauge ear plugs rolling their eyes at you for violating their personal space. Lot’s of area to work and study… and their free wifi works flawlessly. Keep an ear out for the barista who comes armed with the same wink-and-gun-barrel joke every time someone orders a tall blond roast coffee. The interaction usually goes something like this: Customer: Hi, I’d like a tall blond please. Barista: Yeah, I’m sure you would buddy(insert creepy Quagmire-esque giggle). Gabriel Iglesias must be the hiring manager here…

My first time at this location. It was crowded, but luckily I found a seat before the drink was done. This place definitely has a cool vibe to it and it is spacious too. I was able to sit all afternoon sipping on my green tea latte while doing some work.

I got off the #4 train at 14th Street and was walking down to a restaurant in the East Village. I had some time to kill so I wanted to stop for a cup of coffee. Unilocal gave me a few suggestions but the two I walked by were small and cramped. So, standing on the corner of 2nd Ave at 12th Street, I said — OK, let’s find a Starbucks. There was one at 1452nd Ave. Which I was standing in front of. One of their larger shops — lot of seating. I noticed that Wi-Fi access was co-branded with Google. New to me.

Kudos for a large location with an extensive outdoor seating section! Also, kudos to the cute barista that gave me a free tall Vanilla Rooibos tea. You know how to make a girl feel special after a long day. Haaa.

I have been to this place many a time. Staff is friendly and coffee is so good, there is one thing about Starbucks the coffee tastes really good. At least that’s what my taste buds tell me. I get the Iced Mocha Latte all year round. Place is not really large but has plenty of seating if not taken up by the wi-fi hounds. Lol Oh since the weather broke there is outdoor seating which gave me ample view of people strolling by.

What can I say, it’s a Starbucks. This is, however, my go-to Starbucks in the East Village. There is plenty of space to work, but there are a limited number of outlets. The staff has always been friendly and attentive and the Wi-Fi is free. The bathroom is decent even though there is a steady string of seemingly homeless people in the morning(the good kind, whatever that means). Ultimately, the coffee works. On second thought, don’t come here and crowd up my spot! This place is terrible. Abandon hope all ye who enter here! ;)
