Sheshe Pizzeria

I needed a place that would 1) deliver pizzas for me by 11:15 on a Saturday for a NY Cares Project Party at PS 145 and 2) take credit cards. Most of the places on the UWS are not willing to do this since they open right at 11:00. The pizza was good and the kids were happy. I was very pleased with everything — pies, bottles of soda and paper goods as ordered, pizzas sliced into 16 slices as requested. The delivery man was very pleasant. Work with Nancy. She is very professional and goes the extra mile! She calls you back promptly (even on her day off) and she said that she was going to go into work early on Saturday to make sure everything would go as planned. She gets an A+!

Great pizza! They taste great and the slices are big. The spicy chicken pizza is bomb, not too spicy, and their chicken sandwich is even better. The chicken is well seasoned. Definitely recommend if you’re craving pizza in the neighborhood.

Best pizza on the UWS. Their delivery is incredibly quick, and delivery people are so nice! I order from them far too often TBH, the delivery guy and I are on a fist name basis. Highly recommend the cheese calzone and the cookie dough ice cream

The management is horrible. I’ve ordered their white pizza so many times and they treat loyal customers terribly. The pizza quality is good, but they constantly overcharge. Won’t be going back.

I definitely recommend this place. I live just 2 blocs away and I go there twice a week for the last 10 months and I have never had an issue with them.
I have always had my pizza pretty quickly and people working there are really nice. Besides, it’s really cheap ($ 5 for two slices and one soda).

Awesome!!! I personally love their chicken bacon ranch! They have a minimum smaller than most upper west Seemless pizza shops. Thier deliver time is quick and they have great cheese fries!

— We waited over an hour for our food
— The large pizza tasted like it was frozen and thawed, with toppings that tasted like they came straight out of a can
— The cheeseburger deluxe came with lettuce and tomato on a soggy bun without the beef. How does a place manage to leave out the main part of a burger?!
— The fries also tasted like frozen and thawed preservatives
We were highly upset that we wasted $ 40 at this place and will never order from them again.

Terrible management. Pizza is ok. Can’t even get a simple order of breadsticks right. Forgot the marinera sauce and when I called again the person on the phone acted like a complete jerk. Said he would give «extra sauce» next time… what the hell? sauce is free! Would NOT order from them ever again.

Pretty middling pizza place, but one of the only ones that will deliver east of Morningside Park. I use Seamless, and I’ve never had a problem, their delivery is always on time (30 – 45 minutes), and I’ve only had a problem with warmth once (and it was like 10 degrees outside so can’t really fault them for that). Cheesy sticks are amazing, and pizza is perfectly adequate. A little pricier than a Dominos, but also a little better, so it evens out.
Don’t expect too much, but it’ll fill that pizza-​shaped void in your heart for the night.

Pizza was A-​OK. Not bad at all but not blow your socks off amazing. UWS pizza is slim pickings to begin with so its all relative of course. Sauce tasted good, little skimpy on the cheese BUT the pie arrived fast and hot (major plus in my book).
Couple annoying things I noticed though that should be called out:
1. Their online ordering process is COMPLETELY UNENCRYPTED. That’s super bad. If you are buying something online, ALWAYS make sure you are connected via SSL (a little lock usually shows in the URL bar and the address should start with …). This is 1998 era webtech. This doesn’t make the pizza bad but its super amateur which makes me question the long term prospects for this place.
2. The website offers «Online promotion» codes for special discounts. Last night, the was a code (#SS500) that gave 10% off all online purchases… sounds great… I’ll take it… oh yea except that when you proceed to check out, it says that «this code isn’t valid for this location.» Now your thinking, «maybe its for the ‘other’ Sheshe pizza that I haven’t scene or heard about,» but that would be silly since there is no other Sheshe pizza. Again… amateur website problems.
I know the point of a food place is to make good food but attention to detail and your overall web presence are demonstrative of a business that truly gives a sh*t. Maybe I’m hyper sensitive to stuff like this but it rubbed me the wrong way. Hopefully its just new-​guy problems but we’ll see.
We’ll probably order from them again and play it by ear. More to follow…

I’ve ordered delivery once and I had no complaints.
The pizza is pretty classic — cheesy, greasy, etc. Definitely not gourmet, but just what I was looking for.
Delivery time was actually faster than described, which was nice.

No clue what the other posters experienced. Great classic NY slice. Terrific sauce. Nice chewy crust.

Horrible. In the words of my friend, the pizza was uninspired. If this is a new place the pizza should be on point for new customers. Also the woman gave me such an attitude for requesting a chicken parm pizza.

I’ve ordered pizza twice for delivery from She She Pizza. They came hot and cheesy, with top grade toppings. I really recommend it.
Only minus: delivery time is between 35 – 45 minutes, which I find a bit long.

So I decided to order from SheShe again, and well, the same sort of thing. My pasta was pretty good. But I ordered on-​line, through the restaurant’s site, where there was an option to pay with Amex. I put my card through and everything seemed fine. 30 minutes later I got a call letting me know their machine doesn’t use Amex and did I have another card or would I be paying with cash? I mentioned I’d really wanted to use that card and didn’t know if I had enough cash, so maybe cancel the order. At that point the woman informed me that my food was already ready. I’m not sure why they didn’t alert me to the problem earlier. Pressured to pay and not put them out money, I said I’d figure out how I was paying and call back in a few minutes.
I ran to withdraw cash (kind of defeating the convenience factor of delivery), called back and confirmed that I had cash to pay, and my food was delivered. However, the classy thing to do would have been to give me a discount, or enclose something in my order to apologize for the mistake. This wasn’t done. Not end of the world. But again… not five stars territory either. Just kind of okay.

I walk in and ask them what’s there speciality and the gentleman says pasta so I ordered the penne ala vodka and I was impressed ! There pizza is good too I’m defiantly Gona make this my pizza shop of choice !

New pizza place on the corner. So excited to have pizza closer to home, though such an easy, relatively cheap place so close to home may be dangerous.
During their free pizza weekend (for their opening), I was able to snag a slice. I think they could put more cheese on the pizza, but I did like the crust. I look forward to coming back once they’re not giving away the pizza to see if they can add some more cheese.
Staff was friendly. Line was not the fastest, but, again, this was their first day open.
