The food here for the most part is good to great. Been a customer through , and ordered 30+ times at least. While the food is usually good, and the wait time is usually not too bad either to midtown area. There can be a few reasons to hold off some future orders, their delivery boys can be rude at times — if it takes you more than a few seconds to meet them outside. — Also, If you do every have an issue with an order, — to name a few -; substituting chicken salad for a baguette sandwich, missing fries in the combo, sending a different soup than the one ordered etc. There is no one to talk to, and they don’t always call to advise you if they are out of something.

Had a bad experience with my first delivery, but the owner reached out and corrected things. The second time around, I got the pretzel schnitzel combo which was both delicious and generously sized, delivered hot and on time!

Just ordered via seamless. Very fast delivery but that explains the COLD meat(schnitzel supposed to be super fresh and hot off the cooking oil) Bread was dry and overall horrible. Too expensive and no value in return, sad.

Don’t. You’re thinking about it I know. Just don’t. I placed an order for delivery, put in a really nice pre-tip as well. An hour passes. An hour and a half passes. We are pretty laid back, so I call to check in… it’ll be another HOUR before they can deliver the food. That’s two and a half hours to deliver food! And we are 15 blocks downtown, so traffic ain’t that bad. Forget this place.

Absolutely awful! Came in over 2 hours… As a result the food came cold!!! Their excuse was that it was raining outside… It was barely drizzling between the time I ordered and it was delivered. Poor excuse for a takeout place

I have not been here in person. I planned an event and had delivery. First, the menu was very easy to find items. And also has platters already created. The grilled chicken wraps were a hit! Fries came on the side. We also ordered the hummus platter, which was also delicious. The pita that came with the hummus was to die for. Our delivery order came promptly, and everyone enjoyed the change of pace from pizza lunch during meetings. I suggest for small events and I will be ordering from here again

I was so surprised by how delicious my veggie wrap was! Even the pita was grilled nicely. The blah look of this place kept me from going in for a while but I’m glad I gave it a chance and will definitely be back!

The food is bad and the schnitzel was burned and dry on 2 different occasions. Not worth the money I paid.

I frequent this place when I’m in the area and want good, fresh food fast. I loved everything I had here, including the various schnitzels, in both salads, and in sandwiches. The baguettes are always crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the romaine is crisp and fresh, and the garlic mayo, basil pesto(with a hint of sweetness that makes this sauce addictive), and pickles complement the schnitzel perfectly. I recently had their steak sandwich, and it was a delicious, ooey, gooey mess, the sort of sandwich that drips down your elbows and goes on your shirt, glorious and redolent with fried onions, peppers, crisp romaine, tomatoes, and creamy garlic mayo. Thankfully, they were able to add their parve Monterey Jack to the steak sandwich, creating for me NYC’s first(and perhaps only) kosher Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I loved the sandwich, and it was perfectly satisfying. The owner asked how I enjoyed it, and I found him to be pleasant and a good businessman, treating the customer well. The selection of desserts in the case looked tantalizing, and I especially appreciate the 10% discount they give if you use cash instead of charge cards.

Food was good. Service not as much. Would recommend as a relatively cheap kosher place in the area(compared to everything else!) but keep in mind that it’s fast food and Israeli.

I just had dinner here tonight. It was my fourth time eating at the restaurant. I normally get the house burger combo, which is quite good, even though it’s $ 15 you get a nice amount of food. Tonight I ordered the classic burger. It was a tad on the pricey side for the size of the burger, but the burger was great. I was still hungry so I ordered the chicken fingers amd french fries from the appetizer menu. The chicken fingers came with 8 pieces and were crunchy how I like them, and delicious. The fried were salted perfectly and were one of the best portion of fries I’ve ever had in a restaurant. To top it off the service was quite fast and the girl at the counter was really nice. Even when some guy spilled his drink everywhere and made her clean it up while he watched.

OK seriously folks, it’s a Kosher joint, Kosher products just costs more, not saying it’s right but it is what it is… unlike the regular fried fast food places, it costs a tad bit more because it’s a KOSHER place! Can we stop complaining about the pricing please… With that said, I’ve only had delivery to my office from here so can only attest to that. Their sandwiches on baguette are ginormous! Enough to share with 3 maybe 4 people since you get an entire baguette not just half of one when you order your sandwich. I’m a big fan of their baby chicken and the veggie options you get are plentiful and fresh. Love that they offer a variety of sauces too. Their meat cigars and potato triangles are delicious and onions rings come piping hot too even for delivery. I like prefer their pretzel schnitzel chicken over the regular chicken schnitzel but you really can’t go wrong with either.

I came here with my fiancée the other night, looking for something fast and not too expensive as a quick dinner in the city before our other plans. I had ordered from here before on Seamless, and had never found it to be particularly cheap, but it wasn’t terribly high, and the food was decent. Imagine my surprise after we ordered one soup, two chicken salads, a soda, and a vitamin water, and I received an exorbitant bill of $ 49+. No side dishes, no normal entrees, no meat, nope. Just soup and two pretty basic salads and beverages for basically 50 bucks. In a fast food restaurant(I certainly wasn’t paying for the dirty ambiance!). Besides for that, I wanted my salad with chimichurri and honey mustard, figuring it was simple, considering they were just pre-made sauce containers that actually come standard when ordering online. Nope! Had to argue with the lady to get that instead of the Caesar dressing that comes standard. I do not like arguing. I’m a pretty passive person, but this was just ridiculous. Yet again, I was surprised in a bad way. After my order was ready, I received my salad with, yep, Caesar dressing. After all that. I knew they get orders wrong like crazy when ordering on Seamless, but I figured I’d be safe in store after specifically discussing it, but no. Just fail at every turn. I then received my real order finally, and while it wasn’t a terrible salad, there was a weird, almost soapy taste to it, as if they hadn’t properly washed the dishes. I very much hope this wasn’t on purpose because they were annoyed with me from all of their mistakes. At the end of the day, the portions are huge, and the food is decent, probably better than the other fast-food options in the city, but the service is pretty crappy, and the prices are completely ridiculous. It’s a shame. The city could really use a half decent Kosher fast-food place, but this just isn’t it. I would avoid it in the future.

Just spent time in the elevator raving my previous experience w Schnitzel’s to be so disappointed as I sat down at my desk. Was very rushed through there today to find my chicken burnt, only 10 soggy fries in the box and the wrong soda I ordered. I think most people would agree I’ll wait the extra moments to have my order correct so that after i walk the 5 blocks back to my office ready to enjoy my lunch I am not sitting in sheer disappointment. Used a groupon for my only two expierences, otherwise, the prices are very steep.

Is it just me or is everything overpriced here. $ 10.00 plus for a sandwich? $ 15.00 plus for combo platters? I am glad I had a Groupon to bring the pricing down to earth levels. I thought I could get a big meal from one Groupon but all it was able to cover was one burger. House Burger($ 10.85) — You would think that for a large size burger, the patty wouldn’t be this thin. It tasted like any fast food chain burger from the meat down to the lettuce. And how could you burn the patty when I ordered medium rare?!(5⁄10) For a place so close to the workplace, it’s worth another shot. That and the Groupon forces you to buy two $ 10 vouchers. The staff and cashiers are friendly and if you are lucky and there is an unclaimed order, they might give it to you. But I wouldn’t recommend loitering there like a vulture.
