First time visitor to NYC– found this place on trip advisor as a highly rated pizza joint that serves authentic New York pizza. Tiny, crowded, only a couple stools and a counter to eat at. Our slices were hot and fresh. Crust was perfectly crispy and flavorful. Sauce was unique, not my favorite but definitely something different. Right in the Broadstreet district, there are shower posters up on the walls.

I visit this place pretty frequently. The prices are good and the food is great! The other day I was there and they accidentally heated up the wrong slice of pizza for me(I asked for a Sicilian slice and they gave me regular… I think they misheard me) anyway, I said no big deal and took my slice anyways. They asked are you sure? and I said yes. Then, as I was eating with my friend, they came over and hand delivered me the correct slice, on the house. Obviously a slice of pizza is not a huge deal but it was just a nice gesture and I appreciated it. Good service!

The pizza is good don’t get me wrong but for 4.50 a slice I can get something more substantial and fulfilling than pizza.

Great pizza, terrific toppings. The restaurant is small but the service is good. And it’s kosher, an added plus for me!

Best pizza on the UWS. Great variety and every slice I’ve tried has been really good. They are quick too for those looking to be in and out within a few minutes.

Based on the pizza we picked up yesterday and the small cheese pie I just had delivered to my apartment I can assume the following about«Saba»: Saba was voted most likely to succeed in high school and was prom queen both junior and senior year. Saba is and always has been the most popular person in her social circle. Saba brightens any room she walks into. I don’t know Saba or the owners of this establishment(their second in NYC, their first is on the Upper East Side), but I will say definitively if she was the grandmother of my future children they would be proud to tell their friends about her in the school yard and would have a ton of street cred for being related to this woman who makes awesome pizza. In the pizza arena I can appreciate everything from Ellio’s(its worth $ 1B, fool), Pizza Pete’s, Little Italy and Patsy’s to Roberta’s, Motorino, Marta and Franny’s. Joe’s(specifically the one on 6th Ave) is among my favorite pizzas. Saba’s falls right in the middle; a traditional, clean, delicious pizza. Saba spins one heck of a good pie, delivers it efficiently(and with one of those little plastic things in the middle that protects the pie from being crushed — key!) and is a great addition to the Upper West Side. Keep up the good work, owners of Saba’s, and thank you.

Good pizza and garlic knots are big and yummy But the penne a la vodka has no taste at all… Taste very plain a waste of $ 11

Pizza was meh. Pizza was to expensive. There was a laughable seating arrangement, if one can even call it that. This is definitely not a place to hang out with friends and chill. People are literally standing over you while ordering because there’s not enough space. They did take credit card under 10 dollars. I did appreciate that. My company for the evening liked the pizza. But she also was the one who took me there in the first place. Still she liked it. It did have a nicely done crunch. They make a good garlic knot.

I can’t imagine working or eating in this place. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t look forward to taking a couple of slices home for dinner. I work up the block from here, and I’ll always hump on down here on my way home. It’s a chaotic fucking mess in here, and there’s barely any order or space. You go in, tell the guys what you want, and move to the… Side… Back… Somewhere? Wherever you can so that the next person can slip in and place an order. Consistency is solid. They’ve got thin crust and it’s a true New York pie. They also do some interesting things like white, margarita, etcetera. But they’re not always on the dot. Sometimes they’ll have a pie, sometimes they won’t. It seems to be up to the pizza masters as to what kind of pie you can get that night. That said, as someone in the restaurant world, it isn’t such a and things that the customer doesn’t have choice. Makes people try new things.

Coming to New York for my first time the top thing I was excited for was the FOOD especially pizza! Saba’s was right around the corner from my hotel and we came here twice. I really wish we would have eaten there more than that. It was so delicious even right before they closed. The slices were fresh, hot and a decent size! The place itself was small but we were able to snag the table inside around midnight and just people watched and enjoyed our pizza. Saba’s made me happy!

Finally an amazing pizza spot on the UWS! Yes the place is small, but the pizza is great. My coworkers and I come here all the time to grab a slice. The margarita slice, pesto, and the Saba’s square are my favorite.

We’ve been back several times, and the food was as good as the first time: various types of pizza slices. Nice people. Terribly small space, so I hope they succeed enough to expand nearby.

Overrated & expensive. Domino’s taste better than this. This stands in the footprint of its predecessor and no near matches my neighborhood pizza joint. Disappointed. Don’t even bother. Dried kosher pizza doesn’t work.

Our pizza was delivered late and very cold. The eggplant topping was sparse and on the oily side. The caesar salad was tiny, fully dressed and therefore soggy, and way over priced($ 6 for a 3 oz container). The pizza was overpriced too, but after we heated it up in our own oven, it was tasty for sure. Unfortunately the UWS pizza options are slim so I wish this delivery was more efficient and satisfying. Oh well.

This is a tiny, kosher Shomer Shabbat pizzeria. Pizza crust is thin and«crispy» on a regular slice. Sicilian is also thin. Not like Bravo’s which is very thick. Good flavor, not oily. Outside seating, although small, is a nice treat. Workers are friendly. I have been there twice already and I will return to try out the eggplant parmigiana.

Really good pizza! Love the grandma pesto and Sicilian! Garlic knots are yummy too The only downside it that its a small place and usually crowded.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood but fell a little bit short of expectations. Some attractive and creative options but unfortunately the crust on the slices we ordered were just not that good. We ordered a variety of the Sicilian and grandma options. I liked the garlic in the grandma slice but again the crust was a bit dull. We would come back to try the more traditional round pizza options particularly the margarita.

Amazing new pizza place! We stumbled onto it and are so, so glad that we did. I’ve had Saba’s on the East Side and it’s good but this was a whole new level. We were there opening night and the owner was walking around checking in on everyone, very attentive to everyone’s needs and requests. The food was incredible — tasty, super fresh, had exciting and delicious combinations, and totally cost effective. Seating is tight but they had some beautiful outdoor seating and we got a nice spot. Will definitely be going back for more!

I was excited to see this place had opened around the corner from me today, so, I had to stop in. .. even though I was on my way back from the grocery store. The place is super cute and has some small outdoor and indoor tables for individuals who want to sit. I was happy to see multiple pizzas had just come out of the oven. Most were thin crusted and some were thicker crusted squares and they seemed very reasonably priced at about $ 3-$ 4 a slice which I believe is better than the previous place. I had a simple slice of cheese, the taste wasn’t amazing but it was good and the place was clean. I haven’t ordered a pizza for delivery yet but I get the feeling that might be the more popular way to go. Also, I saw a sign saying they are open 65 minutes after Shabbat starting September 1st(‘m not Jewish but I just get so bummed when the bagel place a few doors down is always closed for Shabbat), so, YAY for late Friday. .. I mean SATURDAY hours!!!
