I didn’t like pizza until I moved to New York.
I didn’t love pizza until I tried Roma’s Pizza.
I’m not a person who will eat the crust, but with Roma’s, I do. Their crust is amazing!!!

I was starving and needed something to eat before a night of drinking. My friend lives in the area and suggested this place for a quick bite. I ordered a mushroom slice and it was pretty good! But it was $ 3.25 for it. Where was I again? Oh yea, Upper East Side. I’ll go to 2 Bros next time for the same quality pizza.

I recently moved to Queens and have been in pizza withdrawal since living one block from Roma’s! In my opinion, they are second only to Joe’s — delicious and I always got great service with a smile. Perfect crust every time, not too much sauce, perfect mozz. I literally take the subway 40 blocks out of my way to swing by here for a slice on my way home from work!

To start off, let’s give some props — the delivery was super fast. I ordered online and we got our pizza about 35 minutes later. Fast service is always a plus, especially in a place like NYC.
Best pizza? Not really. Thought for fast and late night delivery, it was pretty darn good!

Ordered delivery at 12:30am on a Sunday night because everywhere else was closed and I was starving. This place has such an extensive menu and they delivered in a timely fashion and there was no delivery fee. The food was awesome. I ordered a philly and garlic knots and both were great.

Mixed feelings. Three stars for takeout pies and 5 for eating there or grabbing a quick slice.
Great for individual slices (albeit pricey) and I think they’re open until 4 or 5am. Have ordered twice and both times the pizza was taken out of the Oven entirely too soon. When we got it delivered, this caused all the cheese to end up on one side. When we picked it up, we were so disappointed by the fact that that it was more pizza cake than pizza pie. We put it in the oven for about 10 more minutes to finish cooking.
Small and medium pies are just too doughy for this guy. The large is good, but ask em to make it crispy.
When I make a decision to eat pizza I’m also making peace with the fact that I’m going to inhale thousands of calories will probably feel gross afterwards. I actually love doing this sometimes… But is there a worse feeling than when you make this decision and the pizza ends up being an undercooked, floppy and doughy mess?

This place is a disaster. Food is good if you get it when hot. But more often than not the pizza has been left out for a while or they over heat it and burn the taste right out of the pizza when they heat it up. I once tried ordering a chicken parmesan hero and waited a half an hour. The employees just joked with each other after realizing they gave it to the wrong person. Didn’t even bother to apologize.

I am not saying that Roma’s has an entire menu of amazing food. But, the value offered here is incredible and the garlic knots, I tried them because everyone on Unilocal raved, really are amazing. You get five garlic knots for less than $ 2, crazy! Hot, fast, and a lot for your money. I am a bit of a regular.

So mad I just discovered this place a little over two months ago being that I am a city girl always have been!!! My favorite pizza is the grandma they give 2boots a run for their money; the margarita is another go to for me but just recently I’ve tried their wings and Italian combo sub. Let me tell you when I say DELICIOUS it is just that the dressing on the sandwich is homemade I guess that’s what makes it Soo tasty. The wings are good the bbq sauce was something different the blue cheese was homemade as well; Roma will have a forever customer in me lol

It was ok.
Shady about payment there. 7 dollar minimum for Credit cards. Guy said I owed $ 7.50 then when i pulled out my card it shot up to $ 8 because «paying with a card you have to pay tax»… vs cash only you don’t pay taxes??? pretty sure that’s illegal.

Great pizza spot. We ordered a margarita pizza and it was so good! It took about 15 min to make the pie. Their pizza sauce had a unique flavor to it. The fresh basil on top just went well with the all the flavors. Not much of a fan of the dough of the pizza tho. The ambience is like your local mom and pop restaurant. It seems like a lot of locals go here. There was a lot of take out! :)

Got delivery from here recently, and it was ok. We ordered a large pizza with half mushroom and half green pepper. The mushroom half was great. The green pepper, though, was a little overcooked and mushy. Perfect amount of cheese, and the sauce and crust tasted good. I also ordered garlic knots which were pretty good. A little on the dry side, but they had good flavor.
Delivery was fast and free. And the pizza was average price. I would order from here again, but next time I’ll avoid the green pepper.

If you are looking for a traditional New York slice in the Upper East Side’s Yorkville neighborhood, look no further.
NYC is blessed with an inexplicable water supply that is ripe for pizza, and UES is no exception. Roma is situated on the Northwest corner of 3rd Avenue at 88th Street.
True to its name, Roma Pizza bears a red, green and white awning and boasts Italian and USA flag renderings on its façade.
The pizza does not disappoint. This pizzeria and its master artisans are true to their craft: bringing my palate a blend of perfectly spiced sauce, rich crust and respectable cheese.
When it comes to Roma, do as the Roma-​ns do; opt for a regular slice and then do your thing at the fixin’ bar to make it your way.

Only giving 4 out of 5 because their AC is on so high that sitting there was uncomfortable to me.
