This place is great!!! Do not plan on getting top quality thick crust pizza but for the small price of 1 $ per plane slice it is worth it. If you get 2 plan slices and a can of soda for lunch it comes to 2.95 Even if you get a topping it is still cheaper then most manhatten places as he only charges 2 $ which is the going rate for a plane slice in manhatten. bottom line is Come if you are looking for cheap but dont come if you are looking for a seat with your cheap pizza cause it is standing room only. Make sure you bring a coat as the door is open for his line that stretches around the block during lunch. This place is most certainly there but he is a chain cause they do have one in Long Island City.

Mike’s has easily replaced Roma Pizza as my favorite sober go-to. The crust is thin and delicious and the ratio of cheese to sauce is perfect. Definitely the best slice in the area! Oh, and it’s definitely still at this location!

This restaurant is no longer @ this location! It’s moved to Long Island City. It’s good, though!

Every neighborhood should have a dependable hole-in-the-wall pizza place where one can grab a quick cheese slice to satisfy a craving, and this is mine. If you must eat in, there are a few stools against the wall, but it’s better taken to go.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews(it was formerly known as Ray’s, but they had to change the name). When I lived in the neighborhood this was my go-to slice shop. Their trademark is a delicious slice of heaven that has diced onion, green pepper, and crunchy bacon. I cannot tell you amazing this combination is. I have tried to recreate it at home many times, but have never hit it exactly right. The ratio of cheese to crunch, and of salty bacon to sweet tomato sauce, is absolutely perfect. On the day I got engaged my husband and I went to Mike’s Pizza for lunch(before he popped the question). But seriously, that is how much I love this place. SOMUCH that husband took me there on the day we started our lives together because he knew I would always remember it and I love Mike’s almost as much as I love him. There are only about 6 stools at the counter, so don’t bank on getting a seat if you’re there during a peak time. It’s kind of a to-go spot.

I’m from the West Coast and I love me some thin NY style pizza. Luckily I found one here that I absolutely love… and Mike’s pizza reminds me of my pizza place back home. I love the cheese pizza. I also love the patties. I didn’t get to try the beef patties, but I did enjoy the chicken patties. And it was real close to the place I was staying… so convenience and great taste… you can’t beat it!

A hole in the wall on a strip that’s busy everywhere else with boring but showier enterprises. Smallish slices(for the city), manned by a couple nice guys who reheat and serve with a flourish. $ 10 minimum if you want to use a card. $ 2.25 for cheese. $ 3.25 for pepperoni. A woman paid $ 5 for her plain spinach slice, yet I paid $ 4 for my oven-hot slice completely covered in tiny, crunch slivers of bacon underlaid with crescents of white onions. Kept me busy for the next four blocks or so, during which people avoided me because of the shower of tiny, crumbly ingredients that blew out from my plate at all angles — that was a great unintended benefit to stopping here on the walk home.
